SECOND PERSON DIES AT BONNAROO
Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival closed on a tragic note when a second person died after attending the event.
Officials announced on Monday (13Jun11) that Christopher William Yoder, 24, died of hyperthermia on Sunday (12Jun11) after being airlifted from the Manchester festival to a hospital in Chattanooga.
A statement from Bonnaroo organisers says, "The safety of our patrons is our No. 1 concern, and we are deeply saddened by this." The body of a 32-year-old woman was discovered in a tent at Bonnaroo on Thursday (09Jun11).
Artists including Eminem, The Strokes, the Black Keys, Arcade Fire and Lil Wayne performed at the annual four-day event.
