MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and BLINK-182 are set to hit the road together this summer as part of the 2011 Honda Civic Tour.
The two groups will co-headline the 40-date North American trek with punk act Rancid and Matt & Kim.
Dates will begin in Holmdel, New Jersey at the beginning of August (11).
The tour comes a month after Blink-182 were forced to scrap a summer tour of Europe, so the trio could work on new material.

Singer JOSH KELLEY was left red faced after taking a slice out of pals BLAKE SHELTON and MIRANDA LAMBERT’s wedding cake at their nuptials earlier this month (May11) - because guests weren’t supposed to help themselves.
Kelley and his actress wife Katherine Heigl were among the 550 friends and family who gathered at the Don Strange Ranch in Texas on 14 May (11) to celebrate the country couple’s marriage, and the star admits he accidentally committed a big wedding faux pas during the reception.
He explains, "It was awesome, it was really great. It was a gigantic cake and I made the mistake of actually taking a slice out of it. I didn’t realise that they had little cakes in little cups that we were supposed to eat!" Kelley reveals he became part of the entertainment too that night, showing off his rapping skills onstage.
He continues, "It was unreal. Me and my wife did a lot of dancing and I got up and sang a little bit… It was a dare. Someone asked me if I could sing Snoop Dogg or Slick Rick or whatever, but they didn’t realise that I knew all that stuff."

SUM 41 star DERYCK WHIBLEY stunned fans and bandmates at a concert in Sendai, Japan last week (18May11) when he collapsed onstage.
The singer was carried backstage to recover and the band had to halt the gig until he felt better.
A video featuring the Canadian star in pain has been posted online, showing him writhing around the floor in discomfort and telling his bandmates, "My knees were quivering and I couldn’t stand… I don’t know what happened, I never had that feeling." It is still not clear why Whibley fell to his knees, but the scare won’t end the tour. Sum 41 will continue their Japanese trek with shows in Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo this week (beg23May11).

Rap entrepreneur FLAVOR FLAV is facing more trouble over his failed fried chicken restaurant in Iowa after a food distributor filed suit over an outstanding invoice.
The hip-hop veteran and his co-owner Nick Cimino launched Flav’s Fried Chicken in Clinton in January (11), but Flav withdrew his name from the eatery in April (11) after a bust up with his business partner.
The fall out between Flav and Cimino came just weeks after employees at the restaurant claimed their pay cheques had bounced.
Company bosses are now being accused of failing to pay a $12,000 (£7,500) bill for past food shipments from local firm Hawkeye Foodservice Distribution, reports AllHipHop.com.
Legal papers were filed in Johnson County Court earlier this month (May11).
Flavor Flav is now focusing on a new chicken venture in Las Vegas, which is due to open in the coming weeks.

Singer TIM MCGRAW is countersuing his record label after officials accused him of breaching his contract with them.
In a complaint filed earlier this month (May11), Curb Records executives claimed the singer handed over master recordings for his latest album, Emotional Traffic, too closely to the completion of his 2009 release Southern Voice and, as a result, the songs were not "topical and new".
They accused him of using a "transparent tactic to attempt to fulfil his contractual recording commitment to Curb prematurely in breach of the recording agreement".
McGraw fired back in an angry statement, in which he accused label bosses of "holding the album hostage from country music fans", and now he is countersuing and seeking advance payment and recording-fund reimbursement, unspecified damages, and a jury trial.
The suit also asks that Emotional Traffic be deemed McGraw’s last album due to the label and for McGraw to be "free to begin recording for himself or any other party as of July 23, 2011".

Actress JENNIFER LAWRENCE refused to overdo her workout routine to slim down and shape up for her near-naked role in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS - because she wanted to maintain her curves and "look like a woman".
The Winter’s Bone star, 20, plays Mystique in the upcoming comic book movie and had to be almost completely nude, so she could be sprayed head to toe in blue body paint for the part.
Lawrence decided against embarking on a super-strict diet and exercise plan to prepare for the revealing role and only agreed to submit to a light training regimen and high-protein food plan, allowing her to simply sculpt her figure.
She tells Elle magazine, "I knew that if I was going to be naked in front of the world, I wanted to look like a woman and not a prepubescent 13-year-old boy. I’m so sick of people thinking that’s what we’re supposed to look like."

The latest sequel in the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise has sailed to the top of the British box office chart with the biggest opening figures of the year (11) so far.
Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz’s turn in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has already broken records internationally, banking a staggering $346.4 million (£216.5 million) over the weekend (20-22May11) to score the world’s biggest debut ever.
And the fourth installment of the swashbuckling film series has struck gold in the U.K. too, grossing $18.56 million (£11.6 million) to enter the movie chart at number one.
However, it wasn’t enough to topple its prequel, At World’s End - the third Pirates outing earned $21.44 million (£13.4 million) when it opened in 2007.
Fast Five, released in Britain as Fast & Furious 5: Rio Heist, remained in second place, while action epic Thor dropped from first to third place.

KIRSTIE ALLEY’s stint on U.S. reality show DANCING WITH THE STARS has helped the actress shed the pounds - her waist now measures 38 inches (96.5 centimetres) less than when she made her dancefloor debut in March (11).
The former Cheers star, who has struggled with weight issues for years, admits she’s been shrinking in size as she prepares to battle for the TV title during the finale on Tuesday (24May11).
But even the 60 year old was surprised by how much her very first costume on the show had to be altered so she could wear it again for the season’s closing episode.
However, she’s refusing to reveal exactly how many pounds she’s lost on the dancing diet.
She says, "There will be some reveal of that at some point, but I really didn’t care. As long as I kept changing and changing and changing, I really didn’t care. It was like, keep whittling, whittling, whittling. And the other thing that’s really more significant to me - I mean, I love the whittling, I like being skinny - I’m really strong and really agile and it gave me a new life." She adds to People.com, "I wasn’t so hungry when I was dancing. That, coupled with insane amounts of dancing, I’m sure I lost it (weight) faster… I had the energy the whole way through it and that was sort of astonishing." Actor JACK BLACK became the coolest dad in town after inviting his child’s entire school to a screening of his new movie KUNG FU PANDA 2.
The funnyman, who has two boys - Tommy, three, and Sammy, four - treated his eldest son’s lucky schoolmates to a private showing of the animated family film - weeks before it hit theatres.
He explains, "This one they (the kids) loved. I got to have a private screening. Mr. (Jeffrey) Katzenberg, the boss over there at DreamWorks (studio), said, ‘Hey Jack want to have a private screening for your kids?’ "And so we brought all the kids from my boy’s school. And I was the most popular dad in town. I was quite heroic."

JEFF CONAWAY’s on/off girlfriend VIKKI LIZZI has vowed to challenge a restraining order keeping her away from the ailing actor as he fights for his life in hospital.
The Grease star, who played bad boy Kenickie in the hit musical, was admitted to the Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical Center in California on 11 May (11) and is battling pneumonia and sepsis, a potentially fatal blood poisoning caused by a bacterial infection.
Conaway was placed in a medically-induced coma to aid his recovery, but his partner Lizzi has reportedly been banned from approaching the actor and his family by his relatives, who obtained the protective order last week (ends20May11).
Lawyers for Lizzi are heading to court to ask a judge to relax the ban and allow her to visit Conaway in hospital, according to TMZ.com.
Her friend Aubry Fisher tells the website, "Vikki just wants to take care of him, she would never hurt him in any way."

JUSTIN BIEBER, KATY PERRY and EVA LONGORIA are among the stars who have reached out to the victims of the devastating tornado in Missouri and started fundraising to help aid efforts.
A powerful twister ripped through the city of Joplin on Sunday (22May11), destroying whole communities and claiming the lives of more than 110 people.
The news sent shockwaves through Hollywood and teenage pop star Bieber was among the first to send his sympathies to Joplin residents, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "Just heard about the devastation in Missouri… My heart goes out to everyone there and their families. My prayers are with you." Perry also wrote about the tragedy and urged fans to donate to the Red Cross relief efforts: "Please Text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to Joplin Relief, or directly call them at 314 969 8655. Pray for Joplin." Rocker Bret Michaels and pop star Pink also passed on details of the donation scheme, while Longoria writes, "God bless everyone in Joplin… My prayers are with you."

An artist who designed the iconic cover for SIR ELTON JOHN’s album GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD has asked the star to return the original picture.
Ian Beck was paid $688 (£430) for his artwork which was used on the sleeve of the classic 1973 record.
He now wants his original piece returned - and he is convinced the Rocket Man is in possession of the picture.
Beck tells Britain’s Daily Mail, "I did the cover for Elton’s label Rocket Records. Elton loved it and it was a very successful album… I think Elton kept the cover work… So if you are listening, Elton, I would like the Yellow Brick Road back, please, because I created it." A spokesman for Sir Elton tells the publication, "I have no idea whether Elton has it, but presumably if he does, he paid for it so it is his; £430 was a hell of a lot of money back then. A bit weird, isn’t it, to ask for something back 38 years later?"

Rapper SNOOP DOGG is in talks to star in U.K. reality TV show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER, according to reports.
The hip-hop star has been invited to join a group of famous contestants inside the Big Brother house, where they will be banned from contacting the outside world.
Speculation about Snoop joining the line-up was fuelled when U.K. DJ Tim Westwood wrote in a post on Twitter.com, "They asked me to do Celebrity Big Brother. Snoop Dogg said they talkin’ to him. Cops swooped on a beach near SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s U.S. home on Sunday (22May11) after a headless body washed up on the shore.
The corpse, believed to be the latest victim of a serial killer terrorising the region, was found less than three miles (4.8 kilometres) from the Beatles legend’s sprawling mansion in The Hamptons, New York.
Police divers searched the water for the missing head, while forensic teams scoured the sand for other clues to the identity of the body.
Cops are hunting for a serial killer who is believed to have killed 10 women in the state.

BEN STILLER is grateful for his current role on Broadway because the job gave him the chance to move his family back to his native New York.
The Hollywood actor was born and raised in the city, but has been living in Los Angeles in recent years with his wife Christine Taylor and their two children.
When Stiller accepted a role on the New York stage in The House of Blue Leaves, he relocated his family to the east coast and the Zoolander star hopes the move will give his kids the chance of a normal childhood.

Chart-topping soul star ADELE has vowed never to "sell out" by signing up for "shameful" endorsement deals.
The British singer has sold millions of albums around the world, but she has never used her fame to advertise products, and Adele is convinced she has made the right decision by turning down all the lucrative offers.
She tells Britain’s Q magazine, "I think it’s shameful when you sell out. It depends what kind of artist you wanna be but I don’t want my name anywhere near another brand. I don’t wanna be tainted or haunted." Adele also refuses to sit down for hours of interviews and publicity work, as she doesn’t want her fans to grow tired of seeing her on magazine covers, adding, "I don’t want to be in everyone’s face. I’m a big music fan and I get really p**sed off when it gets like that… and I don’t want people to get like that with me." The singer remains determined to go against her management team’s advice by playing shows for smaller audiences, despite being offered a fortune to perform at London’s 18,000-capacity O2 arena.
She adds, "We had three nights on hold at The O2 and I was like, ‘I won’t play a festival. You think I’m gonna play a f**kin’ arena? Are you out of your mind?’ I’d rather play 12 years at (small venue) the Barfly than one night at The O2! So I’ve made all those decisions and some people are pretty mortified. They think I’m mad."

Veteran rocker KENNEY JONES feels sorry for JUSTIN BIEBER after witnessing the hysterical reaction of young female fans at one of the teen star’s concerts.
Jones, who replaced Keith Moon in The Who following the drummer’s death in 1978, took his daughter to see Bieber perform in London earlier this year (11).
The musician found himself sympathising with the young pop star - because the scenes of hysteria at the show reminded him of his 1960s heyday with the Small Faces.
Jones tells Uncut magazine, "We had a cute look. We were all small and incredibly young. Without knowing it, we were four Justin Biebers. I took my daughter to see him at the O2 Arena, and when the girls started screaming, it all came flooding back. It was eardrum-shattering. I thought, ‘I know exactly what you’re going through, mate.’"

Scottish singer KT TUNSTALL has been left with permanent hearing damage after attending a SPICE GIRLS gig in 2008.
The singer-songwriter was struck down with tinnitus after a night out watching the reformed girl group and has now opened up about how the condition has affected her life.
Tunstall admits she was terrified when the tinnitus first set in and she struggled to perform on stage.
She says, "It was awful when it first happened to me, very hard to accept and really frightening. It started after I’d gone to a Spice Girls concert and got great seats but unfortunately they were also pretty close to the huge speakers. After that evening I had this incessant high pitched whine in my left ear.
"I didn’t know what it was and at first just hoped it would go away, but it didn’t and it started to drive me mad. It got very bad at one point in those early months and I was struggling on stage because it really affected my hearing certain tones, it can affect the top frequency of that ear’s hearing when it’s very loud." Tunstall’s condition has prompted her to back a celebrity charity campaign called Hear The World, which aims to raise awareness of hearing loss.
