LOHAN BOYCOTTS GLEE OVER ‘SNARKY REMARKS’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:21 am

LINDSAY LOHAN refuses to watch hit TV show GLEE - because she’s still smarting over a series of "snarky" comments the characters have made about her.
The Mean Girls actress was fuming after show writers poked fun at her personal troubles during an episode of the all-singing, all-dancing show last year (10).
In the segment, Gwyneth Paltrow’s Spanish-speaking character told students: "Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right? Repeat… Repeat after me with more energy. Come on!" The ill feeling escalated in February (11) when writers penned another episode in which Lohan’s mother Dina was branded one of the world’s biggest losers.
And the actress is refusing to take the incidents in good spirit - she now boycotts the show.
Lohan tells Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O radio show, "I don’t watch Glee, no. They have made a lot of snarky remarks about me. I don’t know why. They don’t need to do that. I think they are really talented though, and their work schedules are insane, I have heard."

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:21 am

The cult British band shot to fame in the early 1990s and split in 2003 before reforming last year (10) for a series of concerts.
They are currently undertaking a three-night residency in London to play their classic early albums in full - but singer Anderson has vowed not to pull his camp butt-whipping moves during the nostalgic shows.
He tells NME.com, "You can’t be too historical and you got to have a bit of disrespect. You can’t have self-parody and slapping your a**e."

SLIPKNOT frontman COREY TAYLOR is set to deliver a guest speech at Britain’s prestigious Oxford University later this year (11).
The singer admits he was stunned when school officials approached him about the gig because he’s not the most scholarly of stars.
He says, "I’ve been asked to speak at Oxford University, which is very ironic seeing as I didn’t graduate from high school.
"They took a vote about who they would want to speak at their student union and I was the number one pick, apparently, so I was like, ‘Yeah, OK, let’s do this.’ I’m probably going to swear and sweat a lot."

GOMEZ’S REP CLEARS UP PAINTED HORSE CONCERNS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:15 am

SELENA GOMEZ’s representative insists no horses were harmed during filming for the singer/actress’ new music video after pop star PINK expressed concerns about the animals having their coats painted for the shoot.
The Trouble hitmaker took to Twitter.com on Thursday (19May11) and called on animal rights campaigners in California to take action after hearing about the stunt, which saw a number of horses being painted pink.
The singer wrote, "If there are any animal activists around Malibu - at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame… Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions." But a spokesperson for Gomez is adamant the colouring did no harm to the horses - and video producers have the approval of an animal rights official to prove it.
The rep tells People.com, "It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken.
"A non-toxic, vegetable-based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."

STATHAM MADE SURE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY WAS PADDED UP

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 12:15 am

Action man JASON STATHAM gifted his girlfriend ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY special stunt pads while she filmed the new TRANSFORMERS movie after the model-turned-actress returned home one evening "covered in bruises".
The British beauty has replaced Megan Fox in the third installment of the action franchise, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but she wasn’t prepared for the battering her body would take from performing some of her own stunts during the shoot.
So The Transporter star Statham bought Huntington-Whiteley top-of-the-range pads to protect her from serious injury, while still looking sexy.
She says, "I came (home) from filming covered in bruises… He was like, ‘You’ve got to wear your stunt pads!’ He sent me razor-thin gel stunt pads… ’cause the regular ones make you look like a football player." And Statham’s thoughtful present has paid off - Huntington-Whiteley was recently voted the sexiest woman in the world by readers of both men’s magazines Maxim and FHM.
