WILL.I.AM IS COLE’S NEW MANAGER
BLACK EYED PEAS star WILL.I.AM is helping British beauty CHERYL COLE launch her U.S. pop career by officially taking over as her manager.
The Girls Aloud singer has moved to Los Angeles to become a judge on the U.S. version of Simon Cowell’s reality show The X Factor and will.i.am admits he will be advising her as she plans her assault on the American charts.
Cole has parted ways with her longtime manager Hilary Shaw to work with the rapper.
When asked about managing Cole, will.i.am confirms to Britain’s News of the World, "Yeah, we’re doing it now. She’s great. America’s going to go mad for her just like you guys are mad for her here (in Britain)." Cole and will.i.am appear to have found winning chemistry together - they previously collaborated on his hit Heartbreaker as well as tracks for her debut solo album, 3 Words, in 2009.
