LAURIE MAKES A HOUSE CALL TO THE TOP OF THE U.K. CHARTS
HOUSE star HUGH LAURIE is a bona-fide pop star - the actor’s debut album has crashed into the U.K.’s top five with only ADELE keeping him from the number one spot.
The Brit’s Let Them Talk failed to end Adele’s reign at the top of the countdown, which now stretches to 15 weeks as she begins a North American tour.
But the album of blues tunes and covers prevents Adele from landing a one-two punch on the new chart - the singer’s 19 remains at three for a second week.
Also new to the British top 10 this week: the Glee cast’s Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers at number seven and Sade’s new best of, The Ultimate Collection, at eight.
