JULIA ROBERTS wants to turn her upcoming EXTRAORDINARY MUMS TV special into a series for pal OPRAH WINFREY’s new network - because there are so many great mothers.
The Oscar winner interviewed fellow mums Hillary Clinton and Rosie O’Donnell for the Mother’s Day show, which debuts in America on Saturday (07May11) - and admits she struggled to narrow down the subjects for the show to six.
She says, "For the filming, the only mum I was able to be with was Madam Secretary, Hillary Rodham Clinton, which was such an honour and a privilege, but they (crew) travelled, filming these women all over the country, all over the world. It was so impressive.
"The hardest thing was to narrow it down to just six women so I keep hitting Oprah up for a series because there are so many mums that are extraordinary."

Aussie singer KYLIE MINOGUE keeps it real on tour - she always applies her own make-up before hitting the stage.
The Spinning Around hitmaker has enjoyed the luxury of make-up artists pampering her in the past but admits she has now dispensed with their services as she prefers to apply her own beauty products.
In a chat with her sister - TV talent show judge Dannii Minogue - for MyDaily.co.uk, she says, "I love doing my own make-up. My first tours, I did my own make-up because it was way beyond my reach or dreams to have a make-up artist on tour, so I would do it myself.
"And then, as we progressed, I had different make-up artists and they were lovely and they added a lot to the shows but then I reached a certain point (where I prefer to do it myself)… You know, I actually don’t want it any other way, because it becomes part of the process of getting ready - the ritual, becoming that person." Asked by Dannii if she had simply "stolen" the "tricks" she saw her make-up artists using, Minogue replied: "Er… yeah!"

Actress ANGELA BASSETT has confirmed rumours she’s reuniting with WHITNEY HOUSTON for a sequel to 1995 film WAITING TO EXHALE.
The hit romantic movie, about the love lives of four female friends in Phoenix, Arizona, was a big screen adaptation of Terry McMillan’s 1992 book of the same name, and Bassett reveals the follow-up, based on the author’s 2005 novel Getting to Happy, is in the works.
And the star claims the full original cast, including Loretta Devine and Lela Rochon, are all on board for the upcoming project - which will see Forest Whitaker returning as director.
Speaking on U.S. chat show The Talk on Thursday (05May11), she says, "It’s preliminary but it’s going to happen, Waiting to Exhale 2.
"She (McMillan) wrote Getting to Happy and she’s written the screenplay… Loretta, Lela, Whitney, Forest. Forest is working on the script now." Waiting to Exhale was a critical and commercial success when it was released, boasting a global box office haul of $81.45 million (£50.9 million). It was also branded a "social phenomenon" by the Los Angeles Times for having an all-African American cast.

JOHNNY DEPP has revealed he was as confused as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW while filming scenes for the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN sequels - because neither he nor director GORE VERBINSKI had any idea what was going on.
The movie star admits scenes were shot as writers were trying to figure out where to take the plot.
He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "They had to invent a trilogy out of nowhere. It was plot-driven and complicated. I remember talking to Gore at certain points during production of (sequels) two or three and saying, ‘I don’t really know what this means.’ "He said, ‘Neither do I, but let’s just shoot it.’ This guy is this guy’s dad, and this guy was in love with this broad. It was like, ‘What?’"

Rapper WIZ KHALIFA smokes marijuana to ease the pain he suffers due to a mystery medical ailment.
The Black and Yellow hitmaker has become a stoner icon since rising to fame last year (10) and recently admitted he starts every day by getting high.
He told Complex magazine, "Literally the first thing I do is smoke. That’s not even to sound cool or anything. I just have to be high first thing in the morning." Khalifa reveals he doesn’t get high just for fun - he’s a "medical marijuana patient", although he refuses to go into detail about his secret illness.
He tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "It’s just a condition."

LADY GAGA has rushed to release the video for her new single JUDAS online after it leaked on Thursday morning (05May11), hours ahead of its big TV premiere.
The promo was due to air for the first time on Thursday evening on America’s E! network, but the full clip surfaced on the internet that morning, sending fans and gossip bloggers into a frenzy.
Links to the video were promptly removed after it emerged the release was unauthorised, but now Gaga has uploaded the complete five-and-a-half minute promo to her official website.
The film features a gang of bikers made up of Biblical apostles, alongside actors dressed as Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ, who dons a crown of thorns.
Gaga insists the religious imagery is just art.
She tells E! News, "I don’t view the video as a religious statement. I view it as social statement. I view it as a cultural statement." It’s the second Judas internet leak Gaga has had to deal with - the track hit the web several days before its official release last month (Apr11).

Rocker MEAT LOAF is ashamed of his behaviour on DONALD TRUMP’s U.S. reality show THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, confessing his televised bust-up with actor GARY BUSEY was "one of the most embarrassing moments" of his life.
The star aimed an angry tirade at Busey, his fellow contestant, after accusing the actor of stealing his art supplies during one creative challenge.
It has become one of the talking points of the current series - and Meat Loaf admits he’s not proud that he lost his cool while the cameras were rolling.

French dance music star DAVID GUETTA has turned to a former U.S. national security advisor to help him track down the internet hacker who illegally swiped a copy of his new single WHERE THEM GIRLS AT and posted it online.
The producer and DJ was left fuming when an unfinished version of the track, a collaboration with rappers Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida, emerged on the internet earlier this week (begs02May11).
The musician reveals the culprit stole his song and added his own production to the tune before releasing it on the web, claiming it was all Guetta’s work. The leak prompted the star’s record label bosses to rush release the complete version ahead of schedule.
Now Guetta has recruited an investigator who previously worked at the Pentagon to pinpoint the suspect.
He says, "It’s a big worry. We’ve hired the guy who works with security for the Pentagon. It’s really crazy, I know it sounds like a film but it’s the truth."

Embattled boxer FLOYD MAYWEATHER, JR. has been hit with new assault charges after reportedly threatening to have two security guards shot in a parking dispute last year (10).
The sportsman is accused of verbally attacking Aaron Ryan and Miguel Burgos in October (10) after they issued parking citations for two of his luxury cars left outside his mansion in Las Vegas.
According to the criminal complaint, Mayweather, Jr. lashed out at the guards, blasting, "My homies (friends) have guns. If you want me to call them, they’d come over here and take care of you." Two misdemeanour charges of threatening to cause bodily injury to another person were filed in Las Vegas Justice Court on Thursday (05May11).
It’s the latest in a long list of legal woes for the star. He’s facing a battery count for allegedly jabbing another security guard in the face with his finger back in November (10), while another, separate charge of assault with a deadly weapon is also pending in Sin City.
He’s also fighting a domestic battery case stemming from a violent altercation with his ex-girlfriend in September (10).

DAVID HASSELHOFF is so famous he’s only met two people who had never heard of him - and reveals his own father still calls him by his KNIGHT RIDER alias MICHAEL.
The actor has enjoyed massive fame around the globe since the 1970s thanks to his starring roles in two of the biggest TV hits of all time, Knight Rider and Baywatch.
And the star is adamant only a handful of people don’t know who he is, revealing that even his own dad struggles to differentiate between his son and his famous on-screen roles.
During an interview for Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, he says, "I like it when people don’t know who I am. It makes for a great conversation because it’s not about me. But I’ve only ever met two who don’t know me.

JESSE JAMES "never really trusted" his ex-wife SANDRA BULLOCK and refused to believe she truly loved him.
The couple wed in 2005 but its union was rocked last March (10) when James’ infidelity was exposed in a U.S. tabloid, just days after Bullock won an Oscar for her role in The Blind Side.
Their divorce was finalised months later and now the TV mechanic has confessed he was always insecure about the relationship.

JOHNNY DEPP is already eyeing up a fifth PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie - but he wants to "hold off" on the project until he’s ready to make it "special" enough.
The actor has finished wrapping the fourth film in the swashbuckling franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which is due to hit cinema screens later this month (May11).
Depp, along with filmmakers Rob Marshall and Jerry Bruckheimer, have already shown an interest in making another Pirates movie, but Depp refuses to rush into it.
He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "It’s not something where I would say, "Let’s shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012. We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me."

Bosses at Marvel have denied filming on THE AVENGERS has ground to a halt after SAMUEL L. JACKSON’s copy of the top-secret script was leaked on the web.
The highly-anticipated movie, starring Jackson as Nick Fury, Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Chris Evans as Captain America, has started shooting in New Mexico.
The film was thrown into jeopardy after several pages of Jackson’s script were stolen in Burbank, California earlier this week (01May11) - allegedly shutting down production until writers could come up with new scenes.
However, a representative from Marvel, the studio in charge of the movie, has denied there are troubles on the set, saying, "Filming on The Avengers is on schedule and going well."

Singer STEVIE NICKS regrets taking prescription medication to aid her drug addiction recovery - because it "ruined" a huge part of her life.
The Fleetwood Mac star struggled with substance abuse in the 1980s and she checked into the Betty Ford Center in California in 1986 to overcome her cocaine addiction.
The same year, a doctor prescribed tranquilisers to help her recovery - but Nicks admits the pills "nearly killed" her and took away eight years of her life.
She tells FOX411’s Pop Tarts, "The only thing I would change is walking into that psychiatrist’s office who prescribed me (the pills). That ruined my life for eight years.
"That was just a stupid doctor making a groupie mistake and just wanting me to come in there, tell him about all my music friends and young Hollywood, and that nearly ruined my life and nearly killed me.
"That’s eight years that I could have. God knows, maybe I would have met someone, maybe I would have had a baby. That was my prime eight years. That was a big mistake. Everything else was exactly how it should have been."

LEONARDO DiCAPRIO paid a staggering $1.2 million (£750,000) for a painting by legendary artist SALVADOR DALI, according to a U.S. report.
The Inception star was bidding on two works by Pablo Picasso at Christie’s in New York earlier this week (begs02May11), but when he failed to win the items, he turned his attention to a piece by the surrealist.

PARIS HILTON has taken aim at her former friend LINDSAY LOHAN on her new reality show by making a jibe about the actress’ recent court case involving an alleged necklace theft.
The Mean Girls star was handed 120 days in jail and 400 hours of community service last month (Apr11) after pleading not guilty to a misdemeanour charge relating to the alleged theft in January (11). Her arrest on the charge broke the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI case.

Former STONE ROSES guitarist JOHN SQUIRE has created abstract images of serial killer HAROLD SHIPMAN and incest monster JOSEF FRITZL for a new exhibition.
The rocker, a renowned and respected artist, has included the two notorious criminals among artwork at a gallery display in London, titled John Squire: Celebrity.
He has used patterns and symbols inspired by the mythical eight-pointed star in place of the subject’s face, and has named other pieces after actresses Lindsay Lohan and Keira Knightley, legendary director Woody Allen, and soccer superstar David Beckham.
Squire says, "It’s a brief respite from the endless bombardment of celebrity images. It asks: How often do we really need to see copies of complete strangers’ faces, and why do we collectively choose those particular people?" Shipman, a family doctor, murdered 15 patients by administering lethal injections at his surgery in England. Fritzl was caged for life in 2009 after pleading guilty to charges including incest and rape for keeping his daughter as a sex slave for 24 years in a basement dungeon at his home in Austria.
Squire’s exhibition runs at London’s Idea Generation gallery from June to July (11).
