Actress CHLOE SEVIGNY has reportedly found love with a friend of reality TV star SPENCER PRATT.
The Big Love star recently began dating Charlie Smith, who appeared on The Hills with Pratt, and the couple stepped out together earlier this month (Apr11).
According to America’s Star magazine, Smith was on hand to support Sevigny as she hosted a benefit in Santa Monica, California on 7 April (11).
A source tells the publication, "Chloe and Charlie arrived together, and though she was one of the event’s hosts, she spent most of her time wrapped up in him. She was beaming." Sevigny has previously dated British rocker Jarvis Cocker and ended her longterm relationship with musician Matt McAuley in 2007.

Actress JANE KRAKOWSKI is a new mum - the 30 ROCK star gave birth to baby boy Bennett last week (ends15Apr11).
The tot was born in New York last Wednesday (13Apr11).
The son is the first child for Krakowski and her fiance Robert Godley.
A statement from the happy couple reads, "Jane Krakowski and Robert Godley are thrilled to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Bennett Robert Godley, born Wednesday, April 13, in New York. Bennett, the first child for both Jane and Robert, weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and is sporting blonde hair just like his mom!" Krakowski tells Us Weekly magazine, "Bennett is an amazing, healthy sweet boy and we are both just crazy in love with him."

ROBERT PATTINSON’s recent taped appearance on U.S. chat show ELLEN turned into a therapy session when he recalled his childhood torment at the hands of a mean teacher.
The Twilight hunk appeared on comedienne Ellen DeGeneres’ show on Wednesday (20Apr11) to promote new movie Water For Elephants and when the chat turned to how much he cared about animals, he recalled a mean-spirited teacher who tipped his snail collection in the rubbish bin at school.
He recalled, "Everybody used to chuck snails at each other at school and I used to try and save them and not only did I get in trouble for it, I got suspended for doing it… It’s a big life lesson I learned: ‘Never try and do anything nice!’" Pattinson revealed he picked up all the snails and created a "little snail land" sanctuary at the back of his classroom - but his teacher did not approve.
He added, "For some reason, I had a strange compassion for snails only for the teacher to chuck them all in the trash at the end." And the TV therapy session didn’t end there. He went on, "She also confiscated my pack of Top Trumps (cards) and gave them to her son… I saw them a year later. Her son was such an idiot. He didn’t even recognise the value of them.
"I can’t believe I’m saying that… It’s one of my only memories of childhood."

Pregnant MARIAH CAREY has opened the door to her unborn twins’ lavish nursery in her Bel Air, California home, as part of an eight-page spread in the new issue of Life & Style magazine.
The sanctuary includes $3,650 (£2,280) cribs, a miniature chandelier and antique-style tables and chairs, among other top-of-the range items.
Carey reveals she created the nursery with top designer Gail Sedigh and interior decorator Mario Buatta.
She tells the publication, "I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies. Everything matches, but pieces are individualised to celebrate the twins as separate entities." And the nursery comes with a very special touch - framed poems, pictures and achievement awards from Carey and Cannon’s childhood have been hung on the walls.
The twins are due next month (May11).

MICHAEL DOUGLAS has opened up about his wife CATHERINE ZETA-JONES’ bipolar disorder, admitting he is "proud" of the way she has actively tried to overcome her issues.
The Chicago actress stunned fans earlier this month (Apr11) when she checked into a mental health facility in Connecticut, where she spent five days combating a serious bout of depression.
Zeta-Jones has subsequently opened up about her bipolar disorder, encouraging other sufferers to seek help and insisting, "There is no need to suffer silently." Now her Wall Street actor husband has opened up about his wife’s personal struggles. He says, "It takes a lot of courage to seek help and I am proud of Catherine for doing something positive about her situation. It’s onwards and upwards for us." Singer/actress MANDY MOORE still pinches herself when she recalls the day she filmed an ELTON JOHN music video with her parents and ELIZABETH TAYLOR - because it was the stuff dreams are made of.
Moore appeared in the promo for Elton’s Original Sin - and she landed roles in the video for her parents, as extras.
She tells WENN, "I actually got to work with both Elton and Elizabeth Taylor. They were both in the music video. It was a crazy once-in-a-lifetime experience.
"I grew up listening to his music and my parents actually got to be extras in the music video as well - and they grew up with Elton’s music as well, so it was definitely a moment in time for sure. We all got to dress up like we were concertgoers at an Elton John concert in the ’70s, so they got to wear some pretty funky duds.
"I met Elizabeth that day but her part in the video and mine didn’t necessarily intersect, but it was still neat to be part of a project with two legends."

Action man DWAYNE JOHNSON has a Facebook fan to thank for his role as a federal marshall in the new FAST & THE FURIOUS sequel - producer/star VIN DIESEL originally had TOMMY LEE JONES in his mind for the part.
Diesel was scouting for ideas from fans online just before filming on Fast 5 started and one suggested Johnson should play an out-of-character bad guy.
The XXX star thought it was a great idea and started calling the former wrestler’s agents.
Johnson says, "There’s a lot of people taking credit for me being in the movie… but I know, to Vin, that was, like, a defining moment for him, because he had read it (script) and, at that time, a director was flying in to meet with him… So give a lot of credit to that fan."

British rocker LIAM GALLAGHER has shown off his charitable side after raising $64,000 (£40,000) for a children’s cancer charity by donating one of his designer T-shirts.
The former Oasis star stunned staff at the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) in Newcastle, England on Tuesday (19Apr11) by turning up announced to deliver the gift.
Gallagher gave campaigners a limited edition top from his Pretty Green clothing label, which was then sold for $64,000 (£40,000).
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "Those young people are inspirational. I hope this makes a difference and helps raise awareness of teenage cancer. Pretty Green will continue to support the TCT."

Rocker STEVEN TYLER sparked controversy on AMERICAN IDOL on Wednesday night (20Apr11) when he uttered the ‘f’ word live on primetime TV.
Complimenting Idol finalist Casey Abrams on his performance, the Aerosmith star stunned fellow judges Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson with his foul mouth.
Tyler, who has a history of using salty language on the hit show, said, "There’s millions of people in America that are really angry because you p**s them off because you’re so f**king good." Even Abrams was shocked, covering his mouth as judge Jackson jumped up from his chair and said, "What is going on?" Host Ryan Seacrest then took the stage and said, "Whoa, the wheels have fallen off this programme." The show went to a commercial break and when it returned, Tyler had his mouth taped shut.
He ripped the tape off, and stated, "You can’t keep me quiet."

LADY GAGA has given pop parody performer WEIRD AL YANKOVIC permission to use his version of her BORN THIS WAY on his new album after he posted the track online despite a ban from her management.
According to reports, Gaga insisted on reviewing the track, Perform This Way, before agreeing to let Yankovic add it to his upcoming album. He agreed but her handlers refused him permission.
Unperturbed, the singing comic posted the song on his blog and on YouTube.com.
Defiant Yankovic said, "My parodies have always fallen under what the courts call ‘fair use’, and this one was no different, legally allowing me to record and release it without permission. But it has always been my personal policy to get the consent of the original artist before including my parodies on any album, so of course I will respect Gaga’s wishes.
"However, given the circumstances, I have no problem with allowing people to hear it online, because I also have a personal policy not to completely waste my stinking time.
"So I uploaded the song to YouTube, and will be making free mp3 downloads available on weirdal.com shortly. Hope you enjoy it." Sources close to Lady Gaga insist she did not shut down Weird Al over the parody - in fact she had not heard the song.
And late on Wednesday (20Apr11), Gaga gave her blessing to Yankovic’s parody, according to the performer’s manager.
When Yankovic posted the track on YouTube.com on Wednesday morning (20Apr11), he asked fans to donate to the Human Rights Campaign, an organisation that supports gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered causes.

Veteran British actress JOANNA LUMLEY is bringing hit sitcom ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS back to the small screen for the first time in seven years.
The former Bond girl’s boozy, chain-smoking character Patsy Stone rose to international fame in the 1990s, alongside Jennifer Saunders’ fashionista role of Edina Monsoon, before the show ended in 2004.
Last year (10) Lumley revealed the pair was in talks to bring the series back - and now she has confirmed filming will begin this summer (11).
She tells Britain’s Hello! magazine, "In late August I start filming on three episodes of Absolutely Fabulous, which we are all ecstatic about." But Lumley reveals the plans are only in the early stages: "Miss Saunders has been so busy writing (TV spoof) Uptown Downstairs Abbey for Comic Relief and also Spice Girls: The Musical, I don’t think she’s started (the script)!"

British funnyman RUSSELL BRAND is keen to star in a movie with his wife KATY PERRY after their scene in GET HIM TO THE GREEK was axed.
The Arthur actor filmed a kissing clip with Perry for the comedy, just before they started dating in September 2009.
The pair became engaged before the movie was released, and Perry’s cameo was axed for fear it would be "too cheesy" for viewers.
But Brand, who is now married to the I Kissed a Girl hitmaker, is hopeful he will one day get to appear on screen with the singer.
He tells Britain’s Daily Star, "I’d love to star in a movie with my beautiful wife Katy, of course I would. That would be great. I’m up for it."

A stuntman who was badly injured in Broadway’s SPIDER-MAN musical is marking his recovery by rejoining the cast next week (beg25 Apr11).
Christopher Tierney suffered several broken ribs, a fractured elbow, a bruised lung, three fractured vertebrae and a cracked skull when he fell from a ledge during a showing of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark in December (10).
Following the accident, Tierney underwent back surgery and spent Christmas (10) in hospital - but after several months undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation centre, Tierney is now fighting fit.
He is expected to resume rehearsals with the rest of the cast next Monday (25Apr11) and perform on the show’s opening night in June (11).
Producer Michael Cohl tells the Associated Press, "His back’s fine. They’ve taken the bolts and the nuts and everything out."

EVA LONGORIA and ALYSSA MILANO are among the stars supporting an online petition calling for harsher penalties for animal abusers.
The actresses were appalled to read about a New Jersey woman who has been charged with torturing her pit bull puppy after allegedly starving the dog and leaving him for dead, and they’re backing calls for more severe punishment for people convicted of hurting animals.
The Desperate Housewives star has posted the petition link on her Twitter.com page, telling her followers, "Everyone check this out! Thx!", while Milano adds, "If you you love animals, please consider signing this." Dexter star Julie Benz writes on her page on the site, "Please sign… Will You Support Harsher Penalties For Animal Abuse? Need 5,000 signatures lets make a difference together!" and Eliza Dushku backs her pal’s calls for action, adding: "RT (re-tweet) for my girl Julie Benz".

MICHAEL JACKSON’s estate executors have dismissed reports they’ve agreed to allow bosses of the Heal the World Foundation to use the King of Pop’s name, insisting they are "taking back" all the Thriller hitmaker’s trademarks.
Reports on Tuesday (19Apr11) suggested officials at the organisation had worked out a deal with Jackson’s executors on Monday (18Apr11) allowing them to utilise the pop superstar’s moniker.
But lawyers involved in the case have now spoken out, insisting Heal the World Foundation owner Melissa Johnson is barred from using Jackson’s name.
A spokesman for the estate executors tells WENN, "The estate is taking back the Heal the World Foundation and all of the Michael Jackson trademarks it allegedly owned. The Michael Jackson Estate owns the Heal the World name, and neither Melissa Johnson nor her companies will ever be able to use Michael Jackson’s name or the Heal the World name."

Jazz stars including MADELEINE PEYROUX, JOE LOVANO and SONNY FORTUNE took to the stage in New York City on Tuesday (19Apr11) to raise cash for the survivors of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami disasters.
Harry Allen, Antonio Hart, Karrin Allyson and Don Byron were also in the line-up of jazz musicians who participated in The Blue Note Jazz Benefit at the Highline Ballroom.
The Blue Note jazz club has strong ties to the jazz scene in Japan, with sister venues in Tokyo and Nagoya.
Blue Note New York president Steven Bensusan says, "The events unfolding in Japan are tragic, and we want to do everything we can to help.
"We hope that rallying the jazz community in New York for the Benefit Concert will help raise awareness and funds that will go towards rebuilding Japan." All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the relief efforts in Japan following the nation’s devastating earthquake and tsunami last month (Mar11).

The birthplace of BEATLES legend RINGO STARR has been saved from demolition after a dramatic last-minute intervention by the British government.
Officials in the drummer’s hometown of Liverpool, England are planning to bulldoze dozens of dilapidated properties including 9 Madryn Street, where Starr grew up.
They were set to green-light the controversial move at a meeting on Tuesday (19Apr11) - but the government’s Housing Minister Grant Shapps stepped in to slap a restriction on the scheme.
He ordered that officials must consider whether an Environmental Impact Assessment is needed before any demolition can take place, a move which could delay the plans by more than a year.
Chairman of the Save Madryn Street campaign, Philip Coppell, celebrated the news, saying: "Number 9 Madryn Street is irreplaceable. It’s a precious piece of Beatles history and of vital importance to the city and its growing tourism industry. Thank God the Government has stopped the mindless town hall wreckers from turning Ringo’s birthplace into a shameful vacant lot. Beatles fans all over the world are heaving a huge sigh of relief."

Country legend WILLIE NELSON has axed a string of dates on his current tour due to illness.
The singer/songwriter has apologised to fans after calling off gigs from Tuesday (19Apr11) through to Saturday (23Apr11) and vowed to reschedule as soon as possible in a post on his official website.
The notice does not specify if it is Nelson himself who has fallen ill.
Nelson was due to make stops in Wyoming, Colorado and Kansas. Shows slated to take place after Saturday will go ahead as planned.
