AMANDA SEYFRIED refuses to give herself time off in between movies - because she has to distract herself from the "heartbreak" of leaving behind the bonds she’s made on set.
The actress has been involved in nine film projects since 2009, and threw herself into shooting a new movie, titled Now, just days after wrapping upcoming blockbuster Red Riding Hood.
And she admits the pain of breaking away from pals she makes when filming forces her to quickly begin shooting her next project.
Seyfried tells Britain’s Marie Claire, "Because you’re afraid of having time alone, you want to distract yourself from the heartbreak of one relationship. That’s why I go from movie to movie, it seems, because I want to distract myself from feeling really sad and having to disconnect from a family I’ve created. I’ll just work right away. I literally left Vancouver and started (a) new project, Now, a week later."

Movie mogul HARVEY WEINSTEIN is set to follow his Oscars success with THE KING’S SPEECH by distributing MILEY CYRUS’ new movie.
The Weinstein Company, which picked up a Best Picture statue at the Oscars on Sunday (27Feb11), has picked up the teen star’s new movie So Undercover, in which the singer/actress goes undercover at a college to protect the daughter of a former mobster.
The film also stars Jeremy Piven and Kelly Osbourne.

Actress VANESSA HUDGENS was quietly relieved when her HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL days ended after one "crazy" fan experience in London left her fearing for her life.
The star shot to fame in 2006 after landing a role in the Disney musical franchise, alongside co-stars Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale, but the fan frenzy surrounding the TV and film series became a little too much to handle on one promotional trip to the U.K.
Hudgens, 22, explains, "One time we were in London after a signing and there were just hundreds and hundreds of fans there. We were sitting there (in a car) and I was actually scared for my life for the first time, because the fans were rocking the car so hard that I was afraid they were gonna tip the car over! It gets crazy." The last film in the musical series, High School Musical 3, was released in 2008.

A controversial film about Mexico’s judicial system has been pulled from cinemas after a witness who is featured in the documentary complained about her appearance.
Presumed Guilty focuses on a pair of lawyers who battle to free a man they believe is wrongly convicted of murder, and features officials and witnesses from the trial.
The movie opened in Mexico last month February (11) to much acclaim, but a judge in Mexico City has decided to halt further screenings after a witness for the prosecution complained about her appearance in the project.
A hearing on the complaint will take place on 11 March (11).

JERMAINE and RANDY JACKSON’s ex-wife ALEJANDRA is waging a new war against the executors of MICHAEL JACKSON’s estate after accusing them of trying to force her out of the family compound by threatening to fumigate the property - with her in it.
Alejandra has become embroiled in a legal battle with the Jacksons in recent months after family members asked a judge to help them remove her and her kids from their Encino, California home, so her temporary residence there could be renovated.
She refused to move and reportedly snubbed an offer to sign a confidentiality agreement in exchange for a lavish apartment from Jackson matriarch Katherine.
The case is due to go before a Los Angeles judge on 15 March (11), but Alejandra has filed new court documents claiming the executors have adopted more threatening tactics to force her out her guest house.
In legal papers obtained by TMZ.com, she claims executors John McClain and John Branca cut off the gas to the property and began changing the locks, while she and her children were still inside the house.
She also alleges McClain and Branca vowed to have the estate fumigated on 3 January (11), even if she had yet to vacate, and ordered staff to remove all food from the home.
But estate lawyer, Howard Weitzman, is preparing to challenge the accusations at the next court hearing, dismissing Alejandra’s claims as "preposterous".

WHITNEY HOUSTON and BOBBY BROWN’s teenage daughter has slammed suggestions she’s struggling with substance abuse after a U.S. tabloid published photos purportedly showing the teen snorting lines of cocaine.
Bobbi Kristina found herself at the centre of a drug scandal on Wednesday (02Mar11) when the National Enquirer obtained damning shots of a youngster alleged to be the celebrity offspring indulging in cocaine at two different parties.
Houston and Brown have both battled substance abuse in the past and the magazine suggested their 18-year-old kid had picked up the troubled stars’ bad habits too.
An ex-boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina - known to her friends as Krissi - reportedly supplied the snaps to the Enquirer, telling the magazine, "During the first few months I knew her, I can’t remember a time that she stayed sober all day. But it was difficult to stop her from buying alcohol and drugs because her mother gave her $1,000 a week. I saw Krissi do an eight ball - an eighth of an ounce - of cocaine in just two days with friends." But Bobbi Kristina has taken to Twitter.com to blast the allegations, claiming the former boyfriend went to the tabloid in an act of revenge for "a horrible relationship that went sour".
In a series of tweets, she wrote, "A former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like… But it’s really not what it looks like. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this." She reveals her superstar mother has been comforting her through the controversy and the 18 year old insists she is only taking after her parents career-wise: "I’m following my mother’s footsteps industry wise. My family is great - and I know I will overcome this and succeed. This is all I’m gonna say." The tabloid scandal emerged just two days before the youngster’s 18th birthday (04Mar11).

Fans of suspended TV sitcom TWO AND A HALF MEN would rather see the show cancelled than embattled star CHARLIE SHEEN’s return, according to a shocking new poll.
More than 20,000 TV viewers took part in the TVGuide.com poll with 51 per cent of respondents calling for CBS network executives to axe the programme altogether in light of Sheen’s increasingly erratic behaviour.
The remaining eight episodes of the show’s current eighth season were scrapped last week (ends25Feb11) following Sheen’s radio attack on Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre.
The series was suspended at the end of January (11) to allow the troubled actor to seek help for an ongoing substance abuse problem and work on the programme has not resumed.
Sheen has blasted Lorre and the producers of the show for cancelling the season, accusing them of not caring about the cast and crew.
But fans of the show don’t want to see Sheen return as Charlie Harper, suggesting that if the show was to return for a ninth season, John Stamos should replace him.
More than 30 per cent of respondents liked that idea, while only 19 per cent revealed they’d continue to watch the show if Sheen returned.

Actress JESSICA BIEL is aiming to raise $5,000 (£3,330) for a water charity after appealing to fans to donate to the cause to mark her 29th birthday on Thursday (03Mar11).
The A-Team star is following in the footsteps of teen superstar Justin Bieber by calling on devotees to raise cash for Charity: Water by donating $29 (£19) to the fund in lieu of gifts. The organisation aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to people in developing parts of the world.
In a message to fans online, Biel also reaches out to TV viewers who enjoyed her turn in funnyman Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscars "Humpilates" comedy sketch, which aired in the U.S. on Sunday (27Feb11).
She writes, "$5,000 builds a well that will serve 250 people with clean water. This year, I want to team up with all of you to celebrate my 29th birthday by raising $5,000 TODAY to build one clean water project.
"I am asking my friends, family, and Humpilates devotees to donate $29 to build a water well and provide clean, safe drinking water to a community in need." And the actress’ appeal has been given a big boost by her pop star boyfriend Justin Timberlake. In a post on his Twitter.com blog, he writes, "Jessica Biel donating her 29th for @charitywater. Let’s build a clean water well today!" Bieber’s loyal following helped the birthday boy smash his target of $17,000 (£11,330) on Monday night (28Feb11), before he officially turned 17 on Tuesday (01Mar11).
But Biel’s charity appeal hasn’t stirred the same amount of interest among her fans - only 14 people had pledged donations to the cause by Thursday afternoon, raising $885 (£590).

BRITNEY SPEARS is determined to keep the media focus on her music as she prepares to launch her latest comeback album, insisting she has "nothing to say" about her past troubles.
The Toxic hitmaker has endured a rocky few years since losing custody of her two young sons in 2008, after refusing to hand them over to ex-husband Kevin Federline at the end of an agreed visitation - she was hospitalised twice in a month and her father was subsequently handed control of her personal and financial affairs.
The conservatorship still stands as Spears prepares for the release of her new album, Femme Fatale, later this month (Mar11).
But she insists anyone who wants to discuss her private life in upcoming interviews will be shut down fast - because she refuses to get personal.
She tells V Magazine, "There’s nothing to say. I’ll let the music speak for me. I’m past all of that (tabloid gossip). I try to block it all out and not pay attention to anything they write about me in the magazines or online. I’m done with that.
"I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am. It’s a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn." And Spears admits she would have no problem giving up her public persona if she feels herself struggling under the pressure of the spotlight.
She says, "I’d be a full-time mum, which would be cool. I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go.
"I think it’s easier to let people in when you’re younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children."

IRON MAIDEN star BRUCE DICKINSON has joined the celebrities offering support to those who survived February’s (11) earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand by posting a heartfelt video message online.
More than 160 people were killed when the 7.1 magnitude quake hit the city on 22 February (11) and authorities expect the death toll to reach 240.
But Dickinson has his sights set on boosting the morale of those left picking up the pieces after the disaster.
In the video message, he states, "We’re terribly shocked by the events. We just got into Melbourne (Australia) and I woke up to the awful news.
"All the band… everybody here, our thoughts go out to all the people of New Zealand. We’ve got a lot of friends there, and family. We pray you all stay safe."

Oscar-winning NINE INCH NAILS star TRENT REZNOR is in talks to play a villain in the movie adaptation of quirky bestseller ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER.
The rocker, whose The Social Network score won him his first Academy Award on Sunday (27Feb11), will portray the bloodsucker who claims the life of Lincoln’s mother at the beginning of the movie, according to Badass Digest.
Reznor will reportedly compose the music for the dark drama too.

The former Playboy Playmate has undergone a course of laser treatment to erase the image from the small of her back, and now uses cosmetics to cover the remaining scar tissue.
She tells Life & Style magazine, "I started getting laser treatments in 2009 to remove it. It’s a walking ad for Playboy - and I joke that they’ve stopped paying for the ad space! "I still need six more treatments, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to them because it’s so easily covered with make-up." The actress will star in dreamy TV pilot Once Upon a Time, about a nun who discovers she might have been Snow White in a past life.
