SHAKIRA CONFIRMS PIQUE ROMANCE ON TWITTER
SHAKIRA has finally confirmed she is dating soccer star GERARD PIQUE by publishing a picture of the two of them embracing and calling him her "sunshine".
The Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker has been rumoured to be in a relationship with the sportsman since announcing her split from longtime boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua, in January (11).
Shakira claimed the break-up would be "temporary", but she sparked gossip about a new romance with the FC Barcelona star when they were pictured holding hands in February (11).
Speculation was fuelled further when the pop star appeared on the cover of Colombian magazine Caras locking lips with her rumoured new lover.
And now Shakira has publicly declared her love for Pique on Twitter, posting an image of the soccer star with his arms around her.
Alongside the image Shakira writes in Spanish, "Les presento a mi sol…", which translates as, "I present to you my sunshine."
