BROWN SCORES FIRST U.S. NUMBER ONE ALBUM
Embattled R&B star CHRIS BROWN has scored his first number one album in America.
The singer’s F.A.M.E. has debuted at the top of the new Billboard 200 countdown with 270,000 sales - 100,000 more than second-placed Jennifer Hudson, who debuts I Remember Me at two.
Adele’s 21 slips to three, while The Strokes’ comeback album Angles and Kirk Franklin’s Hello Fear round out the new top five.
Meanwhile, charity rules at six with the digital-exclusive compilation Songs For Japan and Panic at the Disco return to the top 10 at seven with Vices & Virtues.
