BOYZONE SET UP GATELY SCHOLARSHIP
Irish pop stars BOYZONE have set up a scholarship at a college in Dublin in memory of their late bandmate STEPHEN GATELY.
The 33-year-old singer was found dead in 2009 at the home he shared with his partner Andrew Cowles in Majorca, Spain.
His famous friends have now established a memorial fund at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) college in Gately’s hometown of Dublin to help aspiring musicians.
Boyzone star Ronan Keating tells Britain’s The Sun, "It is a fantastic way to keep Stephen’s memory alive among the next generation of successful Irish musicians."
