COLLINS’ RESTAURANT CHARGE DISMISSED

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:20 pm

Actor GARY COLLINS will face no further action over an allegation he left a restaurant in Mississippi without paying - the complaint against him has been dismissed.
The veteran TV star was arrested in Biloxi, Mississippi in January (11) after allegedly ordering a meal at Jazzeppi’s Restaurant and leaving before settling his $59.35 (£39.57) bill. He was subsequently charged with defrauding an innkeeper.
Police detective Tim McKaid later revealed Collins claimed he had walked out of the restaurant without eating his dinner because staff were "taking too long to bring his steak". He reportedly paid the bill within a few days of the incident.
Collins went to court on Wednesday (02Mar11) to face the allegation against him and the case was dismissed by Judge Albert Fountain after the restaurant employee who filed an affidavit over the incident withdrew his complaint against the star.
