KING HAS TROUBLE KEEPING CALM AT SON’S BASEBALL GAMES
Newsman LARRY KING has signed up to coach his son’s Little League baseball team - but fears he hasn’t got the right temperament for the game.
The 77 year old quit his nightly CNN show last year (10) to spend more time with his family; he was replaced by Brit Piers Morgan.
King returned to his old time slot in America on Wednesday night (23Feb11) to face Morgan for the first time as a guest and told the new host that he had to dash off to coach his kid’s team.
The TV veteran revealed he has twice been kicked out of the game for arguing with umpires.
He said, "My wife Shawn, who I love… supported the umpire… The ump told me to go back to CNN.
"I had to sit in the car, outside the field and get reports on the phone. Ridiculous."
