BOUVIER GETS CREATIVE FOR CANCER CHARITY
SIMPLE PLAN star PIERRE BOUVIER has created a one-off piece of art to benefit a cancer charity in honour of his brother, who beat the disease.
The musician has painted a canvas with the words "If you lose faith in you I’ll give you strength to pull through" and is auctioning off the piece as part of an eBay sale for the San Diego branch of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
A post on the website reads, "This canvas shown is a handpainted cancer awareness painting created in collaboration with a cancer survivor and Pierre Bouvier - in honor of his brother, a cancer survivor." Other stars who are selling off their designs include Lostprophets rocker Jamie Oliver and Comeback Kid stars Andrew Neufeld and Jeremy Hiebert.
The online auctions end on Friday (25Feb11).
