JOSH GROBAN is a closet CB-radio enthusiast when he’s on the road - but truckers have no idea they’re chatting to the easy listening star.
The Awake singer has few demands for touring life, but he insists on having a radio rig on his bus.
He tells Parade magazine, "I love to prank walkie-talkie…! (Truckers) say, âWhere you going to?’ âIâm hauling about 20 tons of Velveeta down to Austin.â I tell you, itâs addictive." Meanwhile, backstage at shows, Groban requests apple juice and edamame.
He adds, "I want a couch, water, edamame, and apple juice, which is good for clearing your throat."
