SHEEN THANKS FIREFIGHTER HEROES WITH KNIVES
Actor CHARLIE SHEEN has personally thanked the firefighters who rushed him to hospital after an all-night party left him with a hernia by gifting them with special knives.
The actor was wheeled out of his home on a stretcher after the emergency workers responded to a call from his home last month (Jan11).
He has credited them for helping to save his life and earlier this week (beg14Feb11), the Two And A Half Men star dropped by their fire station to give his heroes top-of-the-range Leatherman multi-tool knives.
He told TMZ.com, "Compared to me, these guys are true heroes."
