RECOVERING MICHAELS CAN’T WAIT TO PERFORM AGAIN
Rocker BRET MICHAELS is eager to get back onstage just weeks after undergoing heart surgery, insisting he’s "pumped" to head out on tour.
The Poison frontman was diagnosed with a heart condition last year (10) and medics operated on him to repair a hole in his heart last month (Jan11).
Michaels is currently recovering at home, but he admits he can’t wait to get out and perform again.
He says, "I am pumped to get back on the road and start rocking out onstage for all my awesome fans." And the singer’s spokesperson reveals Michaels is gradually returning to his daily activities.
His representative tells People.com, "Bret Michaels is bouncing back slowly but surely to good health. After taking time to rest and recuperate from his recent heart procedure, he’s already getting back into his active lifestyle by working out and running on the treadmill."
