HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS UP FOR FOX ROLE
Model-turned-actress ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY had no clue she was auditioning to replace MEGAN FOX when she first read for TRANSFORMERS bosses - she thought she was up for a big screen baddie role.
The British beauty was the shock replacement for Fox after the sexy star decided to quit the action franchise after two films.
But Huntington-Whiteley insists she had no idea she was up for the female lead in the third installment - and was convinced she’d messed up her chance at movie success.
She tells Britain’s Daily Express, "I went to the casting unaware they were looking for a new female lead. We were told it was for a ‘nemesis’ role. I left thinking I was awful. The next day I was offered the lead! "I met Shia LaBeouf that evening and within three weeks I was shooting my first scenes."
