Soccer ace DAVID BECKHAM has recruited a superstar entertainer to give his sons dance lessons - he’s asked USHER to teach them his moves.
The sports star wants his trio of boys, Brooklyn, 11, eight-year-old Romeo and Cruz, four, to learn how to groove - and he’s managed to convince the Yeah! singer to share his expertise with the youngsters.
Usher tells Britian’s Daily Mirror, "David’s a good friend of mine. I got a call from him about two months ago and we were catching up. One of the things we talked about was that he wanted his sons to have dance lessons.
"He wanted to start them off in Los Angeles and I said that I’d help. He thought it would be fun for them. It would be good to catch up with them, they’re such a pleasant family." Little Cruz began showing off his dance skills when he was just three - his pop star mum Victoria Beckham invited him on stage during her Spice Girls tour to thrill crowds with his break-dancing.

Rockers KINGS OF LEON have postponed the band’s upcoming tours in Australia and South Africa, as drummer NATHAN FOLLOWILL recovers from an arm injury.
The rockers were set to kick off their trek with a show in Brisbane, Australia on 8 March (11) but according to Twitter posts from Nathan and his brother Jared, the jaunt is cancelled until further notice.
Drummer Nathan wrote to fans on Sunday (30Jan11): "Sorry to all the fans in Australia and South Africa. My bum wing needs more time to heal but we’ll be back later this year. Sorry again." His brother Jared confirmed the news, adding in another tweet, "Well, I now have March off. Any ideas for fun? I could always fly down to Australia and party anyway. I need some sun:" Neither musicians elaborated on the injury, however, both rockers began the band’s world tour suffering from ailments - Nathan suffered a shoulder injury while trying to reel in a catamaran sail, while Jared suffered a bloody nose in a swimming accident. Their brother and frontman Caleb also suffered cuts and bruises in a diving accident on holiday in Italy and the fourth Followill, cousin Matthew, broke a toe after dropping a bottle on it last year (10).
Rescheduled dates had not yet been announced at press time.

THE SOCIAL NETWORK star JESSE EISENBERG faced off with the real-life Facebook founder for the first time at the weekend (29Jan11) - when MARK ZUCKERBERG made a surprise appearance on comedy sketch show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
Eisenberg, who portrayed the 26-year-old social networking entrepreneur on the big screen, hosted the show on Saturday night - with rapper Nicki Minaj as the musical guest.
During his opening monologue, cast member Andy Samberg came onstage wearing the Facebook founder’s trademark hoodie and a wig.
Cameras cut to backstage, where the real-life Zuckerberg was meeting with the show’s executive producer Lorne Michaels, jokingly ranting, "Why can’t I go in there? I’m the real Mark Zuckerberg! Come on. I invented Poking!" Zuckerberg then walked on stage to join his two impersonators, prompting the studio audience to cheer.
Samberg asked, "Wait. Have you two not met? Awkward!" Eisenberg, who is nominated for a best actor Oscar for his portrayal of the billionaire mogul in The Social Network, then asked, "Did you ever end up seeing the film… What did you think?" And he finally got his answer. Zuckerberg replied, "It was interesting."

British actor HENRY CAVILL is the new Man of Steel after landing the lead role in the next SUPERMAN movie.
The Tudors star was considered for the role of Clark Kent and his superhero alter-ego in the last incarnation of the franchise, 2006’s Superman Returns - but actor Brandon Routh beat him to the coveted part.
Executives at Warner Bros. Pictures announced the new casting for the as-yet untitled next installment on Sunday (30Jan11).
The film is to be directed by 300’s Zack Snyder, who said in a statement that Cavill is "the perfect choice to don the cape and ‘S’ shield".
The movie is scheduled for release in December, 2012.

Actress HELENA BONHAM CARTER looked forward to childbirth when she was pregnant with her son and daughter, because the epidurals she received put her in a calming, "blissed-out" state.
The Alice In Wonderland star and her partner Tim Burton welcomed Billy in 2003 and girl Nell in 2007.
And the British actress insists the experience of going into labour was made so enjoyable by the painkillers, she would happily give birth to a baby "every day".
She says, "I would love to have a baby every day. I’m just talking about childbirth. I love childbirth, I did. It’s so underrated! "I think it was wonderful for me. It’s the only time I did drugs and that epidural is a drug. I could have one (a baby) every day. I wouldn’t look after them, but I could have them everyday! "The epidural, I worship at the altar of the person who invented the drug, because you go from a life-transforming pain to just this blissed-out state. And it does have opium in it, did you know that? So that’s probably why I was so happy.
"Two times is actually not that bad… Billy and Nell, they’re amazing."

Actress VANESSA WILLIAMS has revealed she was bombarded with death threats from racists after she became the first black woman to be crowned Miss America.
The Ugly Betty star has been delving into her ancestral past as part of the U.S. version of British genealogy show Who Do You Think You Are?, and has discovered two of her great-great-grandfathers battled to have slavery abolished.
On the show she breaks down as she finds out about her relatives’ fight for equality, and remembers how her own father warned her she would have to work harder than anyone else because of her skin colour.
And following the revelation of her forefathers’ campaign against racism, she opens up about her own experiences at the hands of bigots when she was crowned the first black Miss America when she was 20 years old.
She says, "There were race-hate messages and even death threats to me and my family. The cruelest things were said. There was a very angry minority who felt that, simply by being black, I had tarnished the Miss America crown. It rocked me to my core." The show is set to be aired in America on Friday (04Feb11).

STEVE BUSCEMI was the fist big winner at the 2011 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday night (30Jan11) after landing the best actor in a drama series prize for his role in BOARDWALK EMPIRE.
The TV star, who plays corrupt politician Enoch ‘Nucky’ Thompson in the crime drama, beat Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Hugh Laurie (House) to win the SAG’s first trophy.
Taking the stage to accept his win, Buscemi paid tribute to his fellow nominees, and Boardwalk’s cast and crew, saying: "Im very nervous. I want to tip my hat to Bryan Cranston, Michael C. Hall, Jon Hamm and Hugh Laurie, it’s an honour to be nominated with you. I want to thank the amazing crew on Boardwalk, they’ve been a second family to us." The series is also nominated for outstanding ensemble at the ceremony, which is taking place at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles.

PERRY FARRELL’s inaugural Lollapalooza festival in Chile is kicking off with a big bang - THE KILLERS, KANYE WEST and his band JANE’S ADDICTION will headline the 2011 event.
The rocker has teamed up with Chile’s Lotus Producciones, WME and C3 Presents to stage the two-day event at Santiago’s O’Higgins Park from 2 April (11). Lollapalooza Chile will be an off-shoot from the annual festival staged at Chicago, Illinois’ Grant Park.
Also included in the line-up is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, while Farrell will be serving double duty when he plays with his electronic side project Perryetty.
In a statement announcing the headliners, Farrell says, "The job we did to gather these artists for 2011 was remarkable. Imagine gathering 60 artists while the contract ink is still wet. We put it together at a record pace as we had four months. We did not want to come to Chile with a line-up that was anything other than world-class… Our selections are very animated, with much diversity. There is Chilean talent in the mix…
"Our ambition is to plant a very strong seed in Chile. One that will grow over the years, and provide Santiago with an event for the ages." Farrell initially launched Lollapalooza as a touring festival in 1991, before basing it in Chicago in 2005.

ANTHONY HOPKINS’ horror film THE RITE has toppled the competition at the U.S. box office, after taking $15 million (£10million) in earnings this weekend (28-30Jan11).
The exorcism-themed film bumped last week’s topper, Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman comedy No Strings Attached, to second place with $13.7 million (£9.1 million).
Tying for third are action thriller The Mechanic, starring Jason Statham, and comedy The Green Hornet, featuring Seth Rogen. Both films raked in $11.5 million (£7.7 million), according to box office estimates released on Sunday (30Jan11).
Rounding out the top five is Oscar-nominated British monarchy drama The King’s Speech, which followed with $11.1 million (£7.4million), bringing the film to a 10-week total of $72.2 million (£48.1 million).

Two MICHAEL JACKSON fans were recently thrown out of his final resting place in California after attempting to dupe security into believing they wanted to visit the nearby tomb of Indian guru YOGANANDA.
The King of Pop was buried at the Forest Lawn Cemetery memorial in Glendale, California following his death in 2009.
Strict visitation restrictions were put in place to ensure the cemetery was not flooded with devotees and only close family and friends can visit the mausoleum.
However, two female fans tried to make their way to Jackson’s tomb earlier this week (begs24Jan11) by ringing the security buzzer continually, and then insisting to the guard that they wanted to visit the resting place of Yogananda, whose tomb has no restrictions.
They were allowed access, but were promptly escorted away from Jackson’s mausoleum when they were spotted in the vicinity of his tomb.
A representative for the cemetery says, "They were not allowed into the mausoleum and asked to leave that part of the park."

GAEL GARCIA BERNAL grew so comfortable with KATE HUDSON while filming A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN, the Mexican hunk went "totally naked" during their sex scenes.
The actress struck up a friendship with Bernal while filming the upcoming romantic comedy, and opted to turn down a special cover-up to protect his modesty, choosing instead to bare all in front of her.
Hudson tells British talk show host Graham Norton, "He went totally, totally naked. When you’re doing a love scene, usually they’ll put on a little sock.
"But if you go in the nude, you just kind of get comfortable with each other and get to know each other for a couple of weeks and say, ‘Alright, I’ll just take (it off).’" But the Almost Famous star insists she’s never in the mood for romance while in front of the camera, adding: "Here’s the thing, I think it would be impossible (to be turned on). Not in my experience! It’s so technical, there’s all these gaffers and lighting guys."

NATALIE PORTMAN and NICOLE KIDMAN are helping to raise money for charity by autographing props from their new films for the Screen Actors Guild’s annual auction.
A Black Swan jewellery box signed by Portman, a comic book from Kidman’s drama Rabbit Hole and a pair of boxing gloves signed by The Fighter co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale are among the items under the hammer.
The sale, which benefits the SAG Foundation for literacy, BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) and Storyline Online, began on Thursday (27Jan11) and closes on Monday (31Jan11), a day after the 2011 SAG Awards take place in Hollywood (30Jan11).

British singer ADELE is at the top of the U.K. albums chart after scoring the year’s (11) highest records sales so far with 21ST CENTURY BREAKDOWN.
The hitmaker sold 208,000 copies of the album in its first week of release.
She also recorded the biggest January (11) album sales in five years, since the Arctic Monkeys sold 363,000 copies of their 2006 debut Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.
Following Adele in the rundown is Bruno Mars, whose Doo-Wops & Hooligans came in at two.
Rihanna’s Loud, Adele’s 19 and Cee Lo Green’s The Lady Killer round out the top five respectively.
But it was Ke$ha who topped the British singles chart with We R Who We R, followed by Bruno Mars’ Grenade at two.
Adele came in at three with Rolling In The Deep, while Diddy Dirty Money’s Coming Home and Chase & Status’ Blind (feat. Liam Bailey) rounded out the top five.

Composer MILTON BABBITT has died, aged 94.
The Princeton University-educated musician passed away at the revered university’s hospital in New Jersey on Saturday (29Jan11). The cause of death is not immediately known.
Babbitt is best known for his complex compositions and developing the original electronic synthesiser in the 1950s. He went on to become a founder and director of the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center, where the synthesiser was installed.
His awards include a special Pulitzer citation for his work in 1982, a MacArthur Foundation grant in 1986 and the Gold Medal of the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters in 1988.

British hip-hop star TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS has threatened to sue Twitter.com bosses for allegedly refusing to remove defamatory statements about her posted online by another user.
The N-Dubz singer contacted bosses at the microblogging site after a user began publishing false rumours about Contostavlos, accusing her of taking cocaine while pregnant and "stealing" her bandmate Fazer away from his girlfriend.
The profile has since been taken down, but Contostavlos is furious that the messages were allegedly allowed to remain online for months.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Someone made a fake account and started up loads of evil rumours about me, she dedicated 4 months to tweeting all day everyday making up stories about me, some people actual believed her and started tweeting me abuse…
"I am in the process of taking legal action against twitter for not removing the page due to what they call freedom of speech…."

British rocker CARL BARAT has postponed his U.K. tour for undisclosed reasons.
The Libertines frontman was due to kick off his 10-date solo trek in Norwich, England on 18 February (11), but he’s rescheduled five shows and cancelled two altogether.
A statement on his official site, CarlBarat.co.uk, reads, "Unfortunately, the upcoming UK tour has had to be postponed. The Norwich and Bristol gigs have both had to be completely cancelled. Ticket refunds are available from point of sale. Apologies for any inconvenience." The tour will now kick off in Brighton on 29 March (11), and will also include concerts in Cambridge (31Mar11), Oxford (03Apr11), Manchester (06Apr11) and Sheffield (08Apr11).
The remaining dates had not yet been announced at press time.

JESSE JAMES’ ex-wife, adult film star JANINE LINDEMULDER, has been released from jail in Austin, Texas, following her arrest for allegedly harassing the reality TV star.
The XXX star was arrested in Hays County on Saturday (29Jan11) on three outstanding warrants for harassment after James turned over a series of threatening emails and voicemails she had allegedly left for him.
The 41 year old went before a judge on Sunday (30Jan11) and was charged with three counts of misdemeanour harassment.
TMZ.com reports she has since posted $6,000 (£4,000) bail and is due back in court on 11 March (11).
The ex-couple, which split in 2004, has been embroiled in a custody dispute over their daughter Sunny for months.
James, who announced his engagement to celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D earlier this month (Jan11), also finalised his divorce from actress Sandra Bullock back in June (10).

DAVID ARQUETTE has left a rehabilitation centre after four weeks of treatment for "alcohol and other issues".
The Scream star entered a facility over the New Year weekend (01-02Jan11) to tackle his demons following his separation from actress Courteney Cox in October (10).
The actor checked out of treatment on Sunday (30Jan11).
His representative tells People.com, "He has competed his treatment and has left," adding the actor is "in great spirits." The spokesperson continued: "He’s feeling good and he’s ready to move forward."
