RAMSAY EXPLAINS ‘HAIR TRANSPLANTS’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:20 pm

GORDON RAMSAY has explained away rumours he recently underwent a hair transplant, putting his swollen face and scalp down to an infection and an allergic reaction.
The British chef was recently photographed wearing a medical-looking cap on his head and pictures of him with a puffy face, a common side effect of a hair transplant, fuelled rumours he had undergone the procedure.
Ramsay has now opened up about the shocking images, revealing a recent encounter with robbers in Costa Rica, who poured gas all over him, led to a nasty scalp infection.
He told reporters at a press conference, "I had petrol doused, gasoline poured all over my hair and I had a horrific infection. It certainly didn’t cause my hair to be falling out." And he admits a Christmas (10) holiday with his family in California made his medical problems worse, adding, "I was in Napa for Christmas literally two weeks after the shoot and went horseback riding with the kids and had a horrendous allergic reaction to the horses, combined with the problems I had with my scalp, so it was just a hair nightmare…" But the TV star is now on the road to recovery: "That all got sorted out. I can now say that I am almost 60-70 per cent recovered."

WEST ENCOURAGED KARDASHIAN TO LAUNCH MUSIC CAREER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:17 pm

KIM KARDASHIAN has credited KANYE WEST with kickstarting her new-found music career - because the rapper encouraged the socialite to step into the recording studio.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star teamed up with R&B producer The-Dream last year (10) to work on her debut album, but admits she wouldn’t have considered the studio sessions without West’s words of wisdom.
She tells MTV.com, "OK, I’m not a singer, this isn’t what I do. I have too much other stuff going on. (I thought) ‘Is this really something safe for me to do?’ "Kanye was actually one of the people who really talked me into doing it and telling me, like, ‘Hey, look, what do you guys do for fun? You guys go shopping, you go to the movies. Kind of step into our world for a second and have fun, and we go to the studio.’ "I’m just doing it for fun." Kardashian also thanks singer Ciara for putting her in touch with her collaborator, adding, "The-Dream wrote and produced the song (Turn It Up), and Ciara talked me into doing it and said I should meet with him."

RICHARDS KEEPING SHEEN’S PROBLEMS FROM DAUGHTERS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:16 pm

DENISE RICHARDS is attempting to keep her ex-husband CHARLIE SHEEN’s personal problems a secret from the former couple’s two daughters, and admits she is "learning to deal with" the actor’s upsets.
The actress and her two girls were staying in the same hotel as the Two And A Half Men star during a trip to New York in October (10), when police were called to his suite.
Sheen is said to have trashed the room after flying into a rage during a night of passion with an adult actress, and he was subsequently hospitalised to treat an "adverse allergic reaction" to medication.
Richards supported her former partner after the incident, and even accompanied him to the hospital.
The Wild Things star has now spoken out about her concerns for the actor, and admits she’s struggling to keep his troubles a secret from their children.
She tells Access Hollywood, "I think a lot of people are concerned about Charlie and my concern is obviously - what becomes difficult is things become so public. I try my best to keep that quiet from our daughters because, you know, this is something I’ve never dealt with in my life until this situation. I’m learning how to deal with it and just keeping a lid on it for our kids has been my main priority and it does become difficult." Richards is adamant her turbulent relationship with Sheen has calmed down over the last few years, and she was saddened when their family trip to New York last year (10) unravelled in such spectacular fashion. She adds, "Thankfully, the last - I would say two years, Charlie and I have been in such a much better place and it makes it so much easier for our daughters. When we went to New York, that was our intention - to have a nice time with the girls and I thought it was great that we could all travel together and go out to dinner and do things even though we’re not together anymore.
“The events that took place after that, you know, it was… difficult."

O-TOWN ‘REALLY HURT’ BY PARKER ANGEL SNUB

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:11 pm

The newly-reunited members of boyband O-TOWN were "really hurt" when ASHLEY PARKER ANGEL refused to sign up for their pop comeback, according to singer ERIK-MICHAEL ESTRADA.
The All Or Nothing hitmakers, who formed on the first season of MTV reality show Making The Band in 2000, announced earlier this week (begs17Jan11) they are reforming as a four-piece, without Parker Angel.
The star, who has gone on to perform on Broadway and land acting roles in TV and film, called the decision "difficult" but "necessary" to move on with his career.
Estrada has now spoken out about the snub, insisting he thought Parker Angel "would want to be a part" of the reunion.
He tells TMZ.com, "He said he’s not gonna do it, man. You know, he’s doing his own thing. I guess he can’t multi-task. He wants to be an actor and you know, that’s cool.
"At first we were really hurt by it to be honest with you… We did something real special… We weren’t the best group in the world, we weren’t ‘N Sync or Backstreet Boys, but we had a lot of fun doing what we did and we made a lot of people feel good… There’s something to be said about that. The times we’re experiencing right now I would just think he’d wanna jump on board and I thought he would want to be a part of that. But he doesn’t and that’s cool… to each their own. We just want to go on and sing."
