WILCO TO START THEIR OWN LABEL
Rockers WILCO are quitting their longtime label to set up their own company.
The group, led by singer/songwriter Jeff Tweedy, has announced plans to depart Nonesuch Records and open dBpm Records, which will be marketed and distributed by Anti-Records.
The new label will be run by the band’s longtime manager Tony Margherita.
Wilco released four studio albums during their time at Nonesuch.
