BEAUTIFUL DAY IS ITALY’S MOST SUCCESSFUL FILM EVER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:44 am

Funnyman CHECCO ZALONE’s new movie WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY has become his native Italy’s biggest-earning film.
The movie has surpassed Roberto Benigni’s beloved Life is Beautiful thanks to fans who flocked to cinemas across Italy.
Reports suggest the film passed Life is Beautiful’s record earnings of $41.8 million (£27.8 million) during screenings on Sunday (16Jan11).
In the film, which was released earlier this month (Jan11), Zalone plays a man hired to guard the Madonnina statue on the top of Milan’s Duomo Cathedral.
What a Beautiful Day has already claimed Italy’s biggest weekend opening ever, even beating blockbuster Avatar.
