Actress ANNALYNNE MCCORD is spending Christmas Day (25Dec10) in Cambodia to help raise awareness of sex slavery in the country.
The 90210 star jetted to the nation with her sister Angel earlier this week (begs20Dec10), and informed her Twitter.com followers, "Taking off to Cambodia with Angel McCord and 1 of my BFFs, Melissa H. to spend Christmas with @somalymam and bring Christmas 2 her girls!" McCord was referring to the Somaly Mam Foundation, which aims to help women who have been previously forced into sex slavery.
Taking to her Twitter.com page on Thursday (24Dec10), she writes, "Merry Christmas Eve from Cambodia!"

British model DAISY LOWE hates her beau MATT SMITH’s busy filming schedule for cult TV show DOCTOR WHO - because she misses him when he’s away shooting.
The stars went public with their romance at the Coachella music festival in California in April (10) and, despite a short break, they are still going strong as a couple.
Smith has been busy recently filming the second season of the British sci-fi show in Cardiff, Wales - and he admits although the role is "a privilege", it’s tough being apart from Lowe, who is based in London.

Stuntman CHRISTOPHER TIERNEY is spending Christmas in hospital after he was injured during a performance of Broadway show SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK earlier this week (begs20Dec10).
Monday’s (20Dec10) preview was cut short following a horrific accident in which Tierney tumbled from a platform above the stage.
He was hospitalised at a New York medical facility and diagnosed with several broken ribs, a fractured elbow and a cracked skull.
Tierney will still be under doctors’ care on Christmas Day (25Dec10) but his family will be by his side - his father tells TMZ.com they’re making arrangements to visit the hospital for the festive day.
And he also reveals that despite the tragic accident, Tierney can’t wait to reprise his Broadway role.
The stuntman’s father says, "(Chris) cannot wait to get back into the Spidey costume… It won’t be as soon as he would like but… his spirits are high and he cannot wait to get back."

VINCENT GALLO has finally blown the lid on his notorious oral sex scene with CHLOE SEVIGNY in THE BROWN BUNNY - insisting they were not in a real-life relationship at the time.
The pair caused a storm in 2003 when the Kids star was shown performing explicit, unsimulated fellatio on Gallo in the arthouse movie.
Sevigny later played down the controversy by suggesting she and Gallo were dating offscreen during the making of the film - but Gallo has now spoken out to insist they were never lovers.
And he has apologised to the actress after she told Playboy magazine earlier this month (Dec10) that she will "probably have to go to therapy at some point" as a result of filming the scene.

In 1995 we made out once in Paris… I feel Chloe has suggested we were boyfriend and girlfriend to lessen the boldness of her appearance (in The Brown Bunny)… and to portray herself as a devoted girlfriend and victim rather than a great radical performer.

Actress SOFIA VERGARA is urging Americans to dig deep this Christmas (10) and donate cash to help residents in Colombia, which is experiencing its worst winter weather since records began.
The Modern Family star was a guest on The Late Show With David Letterman earlier this week (begs20Dec10) and she used her appearance to issue a plea for aid in her native country.
Colombia has been battered by storms and extreme winter weather conditions in recent weeks, and Vergara is backing an appeal to raise $6 billion in aid money to help the nation recover.
She says, "It’s the winter and actually I’m sad to say Colombia is going through the worst winter in history. It’s been two million people who have been victims of this winter, flooding - $6 billion of damages.
"Maybe if somebody wants to give a little gift to Colombia they could go to my website and to the Red Cross, log in and give a little donation… there’s been $6 billion in damages so we need to start rebuilding…"

PAMELA ANDERSON thrilled her young British fans with an early Christmas treat - she visited ill children at a hospital in Liverpool, England on Thursday (23Dec10).
The Baywatch beauty is currently in the U.K. performing in Aladdin in a traditional festive pantomime at the city’s Empire Theatre.
And she took time out from her busy schedule to head to Liverpool’s renowned children’s hospital Alder Hey to spread some Christmas cheer.

GWYNETH PALTROW sobbed after slugging co-star and friend TIM MCGRAW in new movie COUNTRY STRONG - because she had never hit anyone in her life.
The couple play husband and wife in the movie and Paltrow had to punch the singer/actor during a drunken tantrum scene.
After faking the punch several times for the cameras, McGraw started calling his co-star names in a bid to get her angry enough to hit him for real - and she did.

Troubled pop star ADAM ANT is dating the woman at the centre of RUSSELL BRAND’s infamous 2008 controversial calls to actor ANDREW SACHS, according to U.K. reports.
Brand quit his British radio show after he and fellow broadcaster Jonathan Ross were heavily criticised for leaving "grossly offensive" messages on TV star Sachs’ answer machine during a live broadcast.

British pop star OLLY MURS has been left with a sore arm after he crashed his car while driving in treacherous conditions on Britain’s icy roads.
The U.K. has been blighted by severe snow and freezing temperatures this month (Dec10), leaving roads covered in dangerous black ice.
And Murs fell victim to the weather on Wednesday night (22Dec10) when his vehicle skidded in Essex, England and smashed into another car.
Murs was left with an injured arm and his car was damaged.

JUSTIN BIEBER urged fans to embrace the Christmas spirit as he wrapped up his U.S. tour on Thursday (23Dec10) - by parking a bus outside the Atlanta, Georgia venue so the audience could donate gifts for sick children.
The Baby hitmaker ended his trek at the city’s Philips Arena and teamed up with local radio station Q100 for the Stuff Bieber’s Bus campaign, which called on the pop star’s followers to hand over toys and games for ill kids at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta centre.
Bieber visited the medical facility after the show to hand out the gifts - and the star insists he felt compelled to use his fame to give back at Christmas.
He says, "I have such a big platform, it would be silly if I didn’t do something positive with it. I got contacted by their radio station… (and they) asked us if we wanted to be involved … and it was just something I thought would be really cool."

Hollywood actor CHRISTIAN BALE is heading East - he’s set to star in a new movie by Chinese director ZHANG YIMOU.
The Dark Knight star has signed up to become the first big American actor to take on a lead role in a domestically-financed Chinese film.
Thirteen Women of Nanjing will feature Bale as a pious man "who attempts to save a group of young women forced into prostitution by the Japanese Army" during World War Two, Yimou announced in a press conference in Beijing on Wednesday (22Dec10).
And the filmmaker hopes Bale’s attachment to the project will boost international interest in Chinese cinema.
Producer Zhang Weiping adds, "Hollywood stars are expensive, but they are worth it because they can influence the whole world." The film is due to be shot on location in Nanjing, China.

Chicago’s film critics have followed their fellow American experts and voted THE SOCIAL NETWORK the best film of 2010.
David Fincher’s movie, about the invention of Facebook.com, has already garnered favour from critics’ groups in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Indiana, and Houston, Texas. The movie also landed six Golden Globe nominations when the contenders were announced earlier this month (Dec10).
And the accolades continued when the winners were read out at the Chicago Film Critics Association’s awards earlier this week (begs20Dec10) - Fincher’s acclaimed film was voted Best Picture yet again.
Colin Firth, another big winner on the critics circuit, won the Best Actor trophy in Chicago for The King’s Speech, while fellow favourite Natalie Portman was voted Best Actress for thriller Black Swan.
The Fighter won Christian Bale a Best Supporting Actor prize and Hailee Steinfeld went home with the Best Supporting Actress honour for True Grit.

Actor FAIZON LOVE has been sued by the man he allegedly beat outside a Hollywood hotel in early 2009.
The star was accused of attacking a male after he was turned away from a nightclub inside The Standard hotel in Los Angeles in January 2009. He was charged with felony assault and released on $30,000 (£20,000) bail.
Now Love is facing a lawsuit from his alleged victim, Ryan Murphy, who claims in court papers filed earlier this month (Dec10) that he suffered "serious, disabling and permanent injuries".
In documents, Murphy’s legal team states that Love made "unwanted and unwelcomed statements to him," before he "proceeded to strike (the) plaintiff with his fists".
Murphy is suing for unspecified damages.

KANYE WEST’s MY BEAUTIFUL DARK TWISTED FANTASY has topped another important end-of-year albums poll after landing the honour from Spin magazine’s editors.
The acclaimed album was named the best of 2010 ahead of Deerhunter’s Halcyon Digest and The Suburbs by Arcade Fire.

Rap sensation NICKI MINAJ has swapped LIL WAYNE for KANYE WEST as her mentor after befriending the STRONGER hitmaker while recording her debut album.
The Check It Out star was given her big break by Wayne in August 2009 when he signed her to his Young Money Entertainment label, but he was unable to oversee her rise to fame when he was jailed for eight months earlier this year (10) for a gun charge.
Minaj struck up a working relationship with West through her friendship with his ex-girlfriend, model Amber Rose, and she soon landed a spot on the rap superstar’s hit collaboration Monster, which also featured Jay-Z and Rick Ross.
They went on to work on Blazin’, a duet for Minaj’s new release Pink Friday - and they are now so close, she turns to West for career advice.
