BARRINO CONCERT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER
Singer FANTASIA BARRINO was forced to cancel a show in New York on Monday night (27Dec10) after heavy snow brought the city to a standstill.
Traffic ground to a halt on Sunday (26Dec10), while the heavy snowfall caused major airports to shut down and led to public transportation delays across the U.S. East Coast.
The former American Idol winner was due to perform a gig at the Big Apple’s Beacon Theatre on Monday, but because of the weather Barrino’s concert was axed and will be rescheduled for a later date.
But the icy conditions have not brought the lights down on Broadway - theatre bosses are reportedly forging ahead with all scheduled performances.
