GOULDING TO SPEND A MONTH ON HER OWN
British singer ELLIE GOULDING is to spend a month on her own in a remote forest - so she can "find" herself and concentrate on her new music.
The Starry Eyed hitmaker has enjoyed a stellar year, with her debut album, Lights, shooting to the top spot of the U.K. chart. She also scooped the Critics’ Choice Award at the 2010 BRITs.
But now Goulding wants to go on vacation to somewhere hot over New Year - before shutting herself away in a wilderness to produce material for her second record.
She tells Britain’s Daily Star, "I’m going to go somewhere sunny and hot for New Year but after that I plan to spend a month on my own. It’s my ‘find myself’ month, when I’ll also start work on album two.
"I’m not going to an exotic beach hut, though. That wouldn’t work for me when it comes to writing music. I want to go somewhere small and cold in the woods. A forest lodge maybe."
