MARLEY EYES LEGAL ACTION AGAINST COPS
BOB MARLEY’s son ROHAN is reportedly set to take legal action after alleging he was sprayed with Mace and put in a headlock by a cop in Los Angeles following a scuffle outside a nightclub.
Marley, longtime partner of singer Lauryn Hill, had a heated argument with a passer-by outside the Voyeur bar in West Hollywood on Saturday night (18Dec10) after mistaking the man for a valet.
An off-duty police officer intervened - and Marley claims he was tear-gassed and put in a headlock, according to TMZ.com.
He tells the website the officer "went overboard" and he’s considering pressing charges, adding: "(I) just can’t let this go."
