Actress MANDY MOORE and her rocker husband RYAN ADAMS have dedicated a room in their Los Angeles mansion to their love of classic video games and turned it into a mini-arcade.
The couple, which wed last year (09), has built up a collection of their favourite arcade machines and often spends hours entertaining guests in their game haven.
Moore tells the New York Post, "We have Galaga, Defender, Asteroids. When men come over to the house, that’s immediately where he (Adams) takes them. Then they’re lost for hours."

Pregnant pop punk PINK is struggling to control her hormones - she became embroiled in a car park bust-up during a recent shopping trip after becoming grouchy.
The So What superstar and her husband Carey Hart are set to become parents early next year (11) and the feisty star admits her cravings for sour food have turned her into a raging mess - as one fellow shopper witnessed on a trip to U.S. retailer Bed Bath and Beyond.
Pink tells The Billy Bush Show , "(She’s craving) Sour Patch Kids, or Sour Skittles, sour anything.
"Maybe that’s a testament to myself. I got into a fight at Bed Bath and Beyond. I have the rage! "There was this man, and he was very rude. Something about Bed Bath and Beyond brings out the worst in people. This man wanted a parking spot and he honked at me and he was literally an inch from my ear drum… I (went over to his car) and he acted like he couldn’t see me, and then he acted like he couldn’t speak any English.
"I think he realised I was going to kill him! And the poor bag boy (who) was helping me with my stuff wanted to be invisible."

British singer TULISA CONTOSTAVLOS fears she’ll be killed by jealous peers every time she returns to her tough London neighbourhood.
The only-female star of U.K. rap trio N-Dubz grew up in an impoverished area in the north of the British capital, and admits her band’s success has not been well-received by her former neighbours.
She tells Britain’s News of the World, "People in our area would love to murder me. I get death threats on a daily basis. It’s that mentality of where we are from.
"If I step into any hood, it feels like the whole world wants to kill me." And Contostavlos reveals she has boosted her security to ensure her safety: "I’m vulnerable so I’ve got security to protect me."

RICKY MARTIN was overwhelmed with emotion when he finally revealed his sexuality to his mother and father - because they welcomed the news by expressing their unconditional love for the singer.
The Livin’ La Vida Loca hitmaker ‘came out’ as a gay man in March (10) after wrestling with his feelings for years, and he admits he was prepared for a difficult talk with his parents when he decided to come clean about his chosen lifestyle.
But he was surprised when his mum and dad revealed they were already aware of his homosexuality.
Martin tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood, "(Mum) asked me, ‘Baby, are you in love?’ And I said, ‘Yeah mum, I am in love.’ And she asked me, ‘Is it a man?’ and I thought, ‘Wow, this is gonna be easier than what I thought.’ And I said, ‘Yes mum, it’s a man.’ "I was extremely surprised and then she said, ‘Come on, give me a hug. You’re my son and I love you, and I will always be here for you.’ So it was very beautiful.
"My father… he kinda told me. I wanted to tell him and he said, ‘You don’t have to say a word. I love you and I just want you to be happy.’"

Australian singer PETER ANDRE took to the stage on Sunday (28Nov10), just two days after undergoing an emergency operation to treat "excruciating" stomach pains.
The Mysterious Girl star was struck down with a mystery illness on Thursday night (25Nov10) and was taken to hospital, forcing him to cancel the opening date of his U.K. tour on Friday (26Nov10) in Plymouth, south-west England.
Concerned medics rushed Andre into the operating theatre on Friday for an emergency procedure and he was released on Saturday morning (27Nov10).
And Andre proved he’s back on form by performing for fans in Minehead, south-west England on Sunday, after pushing the show back from its original Saturday schedule.
The rest of the star’s tour is expected to continue as planned.

Actor ANTHONY MACKIE can soon add bar owner to his resume - he’s building his own drinking establishment near his home in Brooklyn, New York.
The Hurt Locker star was inspired to enter the construction business after struggling to find a local pub to watch the weekly American football games - so he decided to build his own.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I wanted a place in my neighbourhood where I could have a beer… I’m not going to (U.S. chain restaurant and bar) Applebee’s to watch the football game, how dare you?! "So now I’m getting my construction fetish on during the day, and at night I’m making movies."

Hollywood actor RAY WINSTONE has bemoaned the state of his native Britain, insisting youngsters are "too lazy" to work and prefer taking state hand-outs to finding a job.
The Sexy Beast star is convinced society in the U.K. has taken a turn for the worse since he was a young man, and fears too many people are shunning employment in favour of staying at home and living on government benefit payments.
He tells Britain’s Daily Express, "I was born 12 years after the Second World War… There wasn’t much money but families looked after one another… There was a kindness and a feeling of being all in it together.
"That’s gone and has been replaced with values that don’t mean so much… Some of those on benefits, who think the world owes them a living. What happened to the simple formula of paying to bring up your own kids? Why don’t certain people take pride in grafting (working hard)? Those who were too lazy to look for work where I was brought up were scorned - rightly. In recent times the men and women who work have been treated as mugs (fools) by those who do nothing.
"There seems no shame now in not putting in the effort, getting out of bed in the morning and doing a shift."

Former Hollywood madam HEIDI FLEISS is facing a $60,000 (£40,000) bill to repair the damage caused to her Nevada home when it was engulfed in flames on Thursday (25Nov10).
A fire broke out in the guest house at Fleiss’ residence in Pahrump, a town about 60 miles (96.56 kilometres) outside of Las Vegas, on the morning of America’s Thanksgiving holiday.
She escaped injury and managed to save her 20 pet birds from the building, but lost the majority of her wardrobe in the blaze, which she claimed started in the chimney, according to TMZ.com.

Veteran actress JOAN COLLINS almost failed to return to the stage during a performance of her one-woman show in New York on Wednesday (24Nov10) after losing her way when the lights went out as she changed costumes.
The Dynasty legend had dashed backstage to switch outfits inbetween scenes of An Evening With Joan Collins when she was caught in the blackout - leaving her lost in the dark.
Luckily her husband Percy Gibson came to her rescue and helped to guide her in the right direction to complete her production.
She tells the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column, "Thankfully, my husband, Percy, was there to give me a hand. Otherwise, I’d have been stuck." Collins wrapped up her New York stage stint on Saturday (27Nov10).

MISCHA BARTON fears she has been left tarnished following her stay in a psychiatric ward last year (09), because strangers stare at her and brand her "insane".
The former The O.C. star shocked fans in July 2009 when she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold.
She subsequently revealed a botched operation to remove two wisdom teeth led to her hospital stay, and revealed doctors feared for her mental wellbeing and put her on hold - a 5150 order - because they thought she was depressed.
Barton claimed her angry refusal to be drip-fed anti-depressants prompted doctors to take serious action, and she has had to live with the embarrassment of her ordeal ever since.
She tells Tatler magazine, "I had this terrible surgery to remove my wisdom teeth and it drove me mad. I had infections and I couldn’t eat anything except Slush Puppies for three months and I can’t tell you how awful it was.
"Anyway, I’d had enough and I went to the hospital. I was in a lot of pain and if they feel you are depressed or a danger to yourself they can hold you on a 5150.
"I am terrified of needles and they wanted to pump me full of drugs and I said, ‘No, absolutely not. I don’t want to be here,’ and got into a fight with the nurses, and that led to my 5150.
"Part of me wishes those things had never happened in the public eye. I wish I could have been perfect.
"For ages after that 5150 I’d walk down the street and people would give me the crazy eye: ‘There’s Mischa Barton, she’s insane, isn’t she?’"

Singer LILY ALLEN has toned down a foul-mouthed rant at a journalist on Twitter.com after the female columnist threatened to call in her lawyers.
The Smile hitmaker branded British journalist Katie Nicholl a "lying c**t" in the astonishing outburst, after Nicholl wrote a report claiming Allen is planning to marry her partner Sam Cooper next year (11).
But within hours of posting the abusive message on Sunday (28Nov10), Allen took to the microblogging website again to claim Nicholl had objected to the remarks and threatened legal action if they were not removed.
Allen wrote that she would "amend" the comments - but still left her insults in the post.
She wrote, "Kati Nichol (sic) has been in touch and has threatened to consult her lawyer if i don’t take that tweet down. She thinks it was too heavy handed. So i’ll amend it. Katie Nicholl I THINK you’re a c**t, leave me out of your sh**ty column, you know nothing about the intimate details of my life. There’s a time and a place for your musings where i’m concerned, and it’s not now." Allen is currently recovering from the devastating loss of her baby after she suffered a miscarriage last month (Oct10), six months into her pregnancy.

MARIAH CAREY has sparked rumours she’s expecting a double bundle of joy next year (11) after referring to her foetus as "they" during a radio interview.
The Hero hitmaker and her husband Nick Cannon confirmed the singer’s pregnancy in October (10) and they have since vowed to keep the sex of the baby a secret.

TAKE THAT have proved their staying power at the top of the U.K. albums chart after fending off competition from fellow boybands JLS and WESTLIFE to make it two weeks at number one.
Progress, the British band’s first record since reuniting with original member Robbie Williams earlier this year (10), shot to the top of the countdown last week (21Nov10) and they maintained their position for a second consecutive week despite JLS’ Outta This World making a strong debut at two.
Irish pop stars Westlife are another new entry at three with Gravity, while Susan Boyle’s The Gift slips one spot to four and Rihanna rounds out the top five at five.
Meanwhile, in the U.K. singles chart, The X Factor Finalists 2010 have landed first place with Heroes, while Ellie Goulding’s cover of Elton John’s Your Song climbs up one position to two.

Pop star PINK is refusing to completely give up alcohol during her pregnancy, as she’s convinced the occasional drink is "good for you".
The singer is expecting a baby with her husband Carey Hart and she is due to become a mother for the first time in the spring (11).
But the So What star is still indulging in the odd glass of booze, as she doesn’t want to deprive herself while she is pregnant.
She tells Britain’s The Sun, "I’m pretty disciplined, when it’s time to play I play, when it’s time to work I work, and when it’s time to be careful I’ll be careful. It’s (an occasional drink is) good for you. There’s a whole manual that’s six foot deep filled with things you can’t do.
"No drinking, no eating this… In Ireland I saw a nine-months pregnant woman with a martini in her hand. Or you go to Italy and there’s a nine-months pregnant woman with a big old rack of wine in her hand."

U.K. hip-hop stars N-DUBZ had to fight to keep British slang in the lyrics for their new songs - because the phrases totally baffled their American producers.
The band has recorded a new U.S.-friendly album called Love. Live. Life., which they hope will launch their career Stateside.
They worked with a number of famous American music producers including Jean Baptiste and Salaam Remi, and their ’street’ speak caused confusion in the studio - but rapper Dappy was determined not to change his lyrics.
He tells Britain’s Daily Star, "We worked with some massive names… and to be honest it was tough at times trying to get our lingo across to them. We were saying stuff like, ‘I swear down, man,’ but they didn’t know what we were talking about. They didn’t like the slang and tried to get us to talk proper English. We got our vocab up to scratch a bit, but we also said to them, ‘We come from the country that made the English language, just trust us.’ "We put our creative foot down and in the end lost none of our Englishness."

Rocker BONO has taken his philanthropy Down Under - the U2 frontman has met with Australian government officials to discuss how the country can help developing nations.
The singer has long backed charity campaigns to help reduce HIV and poverty in impoverished countries, and flew to Australia last week (ends26Nov10) to discuss how its government can aid the world’s poor.
He met with Foreign Affairs Minister Kevin Rudd, Australia’s former prime minister, and congratulated the country’s leaders for pledging to spend 0.5 per cent of Australia’s gross national income on foreign aid.
Bono told reporters, "I usually have to twist the arms of political leaders to think more about the world’s poor but I actually don’t have to do that in Australia, there’s bipartisan support for 0.5 per cent…
"It just means lots of people will owe their lives to Australian taxpayers."

The magic of HARRY POTTER continues to draw in the crowds at the U.S. box office - THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 1 has conjured up a spellbinding five-day gross of $76.3 million (£50.8 million) to land the fourth best Thanksgiving weekend in history.
The latest installment in the boy wizard franchise, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, hauled in $50.3 million (£33.5 million) from Friday (26Nov10) to Sunday (28Nov10), in addition to the $26 million (£17.3 million) it raised last Wednesday (24Nov10) and Thursday (25Nov10).
The bumper holiday figures take the movie’s 10-day tally to $220.4 million (£146.9 million) - setting another record as the 10th best 10-day gross ever.
New animated Disney musical Tangled debuts at number two on the box office chart, scoring $49.1 million (£32.7 million) over the weekend, while Megamind trails in third place with $12.9 million (£8.6 million).
Three other new entries failed to entice audiences - Christina Aguilera and Cher’s movie musical Burlesque debuts at four with $11.8 million (£7.87 million), while Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway’s Love & Other Drugs opens at six ($9.9 million/£6.6 million), and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Faster takes seventh place ($8.7 million/£5.8 million).
