Incarcerated rapper T.I. has reached out to the needy from his jail cell by donating 300 Thanksgiving turkeys to the poor.
The hip-hop star is spending the holiday (25Nov10) behind bars as he serves out an 11-month jail sentence for probation violation, but he is refusing to let the situation dampen his seasonal cheer.
This week (beg22Nov10), T.I. facilitated a mass turkey giveaway through his uncle, Quinton Morgan, handing out 300 birds to needy families in his native Atlanta, Georgia, according to Vibe magazine.

RONNIE JAMES DIO’s widow is urging the surviving members of his band HEAVEN & HELL to continue working together - under a different name.
Dio lost his battle with stomach cancer in May (10), and his bandmates, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice, subsequently re-grouped for a tribute show in London in July (10).
The concert was billed as Heaven & Hell’s final performance, but Wendy Dio hopes the rockers will continue to work together as long as they pick a different band name.
She tells VH1 Radio, "I don’t know what they’re doing right now. I know that Geezer’s been asked several times, and he’s just… he took it (Dio’s death) very hard. I don’t really know what they’re doing right now. They should do something else, with Vinny, too. I mean, the band was amazing, an amazing band and they should carry on to do something. It won’t be called Heaven & Hell but whatever they call it, it will be great, it will be amazing."

EMMA STONE is heading back to school to prepare for her role as the studious GWEN STACY in the upcoming SPIDER-MAN reboot.
Stone has been hitting the books to play Spider-Man/Peter Parker’s love interest Stacy, a devoted school science student.
And the 22 year old reveals British actor Andrew Garfield, who will star as the webslinging superhero, has joined her for lessons - so he too can play a convincing academic.
She tells MTV.com, "Andrew and I went and learned about science yesterday. Gwen really likes science, so we learned about science. I was home-schooled, so I never went to chemistry class in a traditional setting like Gwen is into. That was really beneficial." And science classes aren’t the only change in store for Stone - she’s had a makeover before filming begins on the currently untitled comic book film.
She adds, "I went and did hair tests, because I have blonde hair now since Gwen has blonde hair. My natural hair is blonde, so it’s kind of nice. I looked in the mirror and said, ‘Oh my God, it’s me again, it’s been so long!’ We’re finalising the visual stuff. And I think we’ll start actually rehearsing, because we start shooting in two weeks."

Shamed sports star MICHAEL VICK is urging kids across America to be kind to their pets as part of his new-found dedication to animal welfare organisations.
The American footballer was arrested for animal abuse and promoting dogfighting in 2007 and subsequently spent 23 months in jail.
Since his release last year (09), Vick has worked with animal charities and he’s now joined the Humane Society’s End Dogfighting campaign to teach kids about the importance of looking after animals.
The 30 year old has been promoting the scheme across the U.S., and during a visit to a Connecticut high school on Tuesday (23Nov10) he told the youngsters about how his attitude towards pets has changed.
He told the students, "I didn’t really care what people felt about animals, I didn’t care about the welfare of animals." And Vick is convinced it was his destiny to become an animals rights campaigner: "I think I’m being used by God because all the laws have changed since my incident."

TOM FELTON regrets teasing his HARRY POTTER co-stars about returning to the set for reshoots - because he’s now been called back to help complete THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.
Filming on the two-part epic came to an end over the summer (10), but Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were recently told they’d be required to step back into character to re-film a pivotal scene for the second movie, which is due for release next July (10).
Felton teased his pals about their recall - but now he’ll be joining them.
He tells the Los Angeles Times, "I have to go back for one more day of reshoots. So I’m going back in a couple weeks to do, literally, one more day.
"I knew that Dan, Rupert and Emma were called in and I was enjoying that - I was joking that, ‘Oh, I got it on the first take so I don’t need any of that, going back to do it again’. And here I am eating my own words and going back to redo it.
"They just want to get a couple of extra camera shots. I don’t think anything was done wrong, they just want to cover it more. It could literally be a case of panning the shot five degrees to the left or whatever just to make sure the CGI shots work. So I’m going to go and serve my duty."

COLIN FIRTH struggled through the filming of his new movie THE KING’S SPEECH as he battled ill health on set.
The British actor plays stuttering monarch King George VI opposite Helena Bonham Carter in the critically acclaimed picture, which has been tipped for success at the 2011 Oscars.
But Firth admits he suffered for his art on set as he was plagued by crippling headaches and a painful condition which affected his arm.
He tells the Los Angeles Times, "At the end of some days on set I would get headaches, and a few times I did something weird to the nerves in my left arm and couldn’t move it. I still don’t know what it was. It sounds like an actor trying to talk about the rigours of the role, but it really was the strangest thing."

ANDREW GARFIELD is drawing on his late pal HEATH LEDGER’s performance as THE JOKER in THE DARK KNIGHT for his own comic-book movie debut in SPIDER-MAN.
The pair worked together on The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus before Ledger’s untimely death in 2008, and Garfield reveals the Brokeback Mountain star was excited about seeing his turn as The Joker when it hit the big screen.
The 27 year old was so impressed with Ledger’s sinister performance in the Batman movie, he’s channelling the actor as he prepares to start work on his first outing as the webslinger.
Garfield tells MTV.com, "(The Dark Knight) wasn’t out, but I knew how excited he was. I was talking to his friends about it, who had been involved in the process, and they were so jazzed about how people were going to react to him.
"What I learned from watching him in that movie was that it was so honest and specific. Somehow he made this very broad character incredibly honest and human. There’s so much to be learned from that, because otherwise during the big fight sequences, who cares, unless you have a good understanding of who the characters fighting are?" Garfield has taken over the comic book role from Tobey Maguire, who quit the franchise earlier this year (10) after starring in three films.

JEREMY RENNER has been going for the burn in the gym as he prepares for his MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE debut - so he can keep up with his "fearless" and fit co-star TOM CRUISE.
The actor has been training hard to get in shape to play a member of Cruise’s secret agent team for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
But he still struggles to keep up with stunt-loving Cruise, who at 48 is nearly 10 years his senior.
Renner tells MTV.com, "Tom has been doing loads. He’s crazy, that guy. It’s unbelievable. He’s fearless. He’s great to watch. He inspires me to want to be better.
"I’m training in the gym and working out and fighting and doing everything I can to try and keep up. I’m doing hand-to-hand combat, Muay Thai and kung fu and learning how to take someone out quickly. I need to look like I know what I’m doing!"

SANDRA BULLOCK’s representative has dismissed reports the actress is planning to adopt a little girl.
The Oscar-winner revealed in April (10) she and now ex-husband Jesse James had secretly adopted a baby boy in January (10).
Bullock subsequently split from the TV star when his infidelities were revealed in the press and she now cares for little Louis on her own.
Reports over the summer (10) suggested the 46 year old was preparing to adopt a second child to give the tot a younger sibling, but the rumours were shot down by Bullock’s rep.
Stories about a possible second adoption have refused to go away and re-emerged this week (begs22Nov10) following the publication of an article in America’s Star magazine, which suggested the actress is making plans to take in a baby girl.
But The Blind Side star’s spokesperson has moved quickly to dismiss the reports, telling GossipCop.com the story is "completely false".

CHRIS MARTIN found an unusual source of inspiration for COLDPLAY’s upcoming fifth album - old school American graffiti artists.
The Yellow hitmakers are putting the finishing touches to the currently untitled offering, which frontman Martin reveals was influenced by New York street art of the 1970s.
And the rocker is hoping the spray painters’ rebellious spirit comes through in the band’s new music.
Martin tells Q magazine, "(The ideas come from) the graffiti art of the ’70s in New York, where people were expressing themselves with paint… I’ve spent a lot of my life playing it a bit safe or conforming to something, even though I didn’t agree with it. So I have great respect and admiration for people who don’t.
"It’s about being free to be yourself and express yourself among negative surroundings. Being able to speak out or follow your passion, even if everybody seems against it." And the singer insists he’s rushing to complete the new collection - before he and his bandmates get too old. He adds, "We’re hungry and very fired up. In five years we’ll be in our late 30s. You have to have your best work done by then."

BRITNEY SPEARS’ appearance in hit TV show GLEE triggered indecency complaints from viewers who branded the episode "extremely inappropriate" and "sexually provocative".
The pop superstar made a cameo appearance in the musical in an episode which aired in the U.S. in September (10), and newly released documents from America’s Federal Communications Commission reveal the programme attracted a series of grievances about the "sexual" nature of some of the scenes.
One of the letters processed by the watchdog, obtained by Thesmokinggun.com, brands the episode "obscene and indecent", while another slams the nudity and the highly sexual content of the show, calling the episode "extremely inappropriate and sexually provocative".
A number of the complaints call for schedulers to move the series to a post-watershed slot to keep the saucy scenes from kids.

EDDIE MURPHY’s ex-wife NICOLE is in trouble with tax officials - she allegedly owes more than $200,000 (£133,333) in back payments.
Murphy, who has five children with the Hollywood funnyman, reportedly received a $15 million (£10 million) settlement when the couple divorced in 2006.
She is now being chased by bosses at America’s Internal Revenue Service, who filed liens last month (Oct10) demanding payments of $210,957 (£140,638) and $3,731 (£2,487) for taxes she is said to owe from between 2005 and 2008, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

LINDSAY LOHAN has something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day (25Nov10) - she has been allowed to leave rehab and spend the holiday with her family.

Rappers CHRIS BROWN and BOW WOW treated fans to an early Thanksgiving gift on Tuesday (23Nov10), putting on a free show in Atlanta, Georgia.
The concert was part of a charity day organised by beatmaker Polow Da Don and the event also featured a carnival and turkey giveaway to audience members.
Brown tells MTV News, "It was fun, I had a great time. I love giving back to the fans and everybody who got to come out who really don’t get a chance to come out and go to concerts and things like that." The Kiss Kiss hitmaker called on Bow Wow to support the event too - and the rapper was only too happy to help out.
Bow Wow adds, "It was only right that I came out, supported the homey. He called me, wanted me to come out, perform the record, shut it down, and I told him it was nothing. And on top of that, it was for a positive cause."
