Actor and Emmy-nominated choreographer GLENN DOUGLAS PACKARD was arrested in Miami, Florida on Wednesday (24Nov10) on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
Packard was pulled over by local police while driving through the Miami Beach area on Wednesday morning.
According to the arrest report, officers observed Packard with "red and watery eyes, slurred speech, and unsteady stance".
He was arrested after allegedly admitting he "only had three drinks".
Packard’s blood alcohol level was below Florida’s legal limit of .08, although the results of a urine test are pending.
The Miami-Dade’s inmate information system states Packard was being held at the Pre-Trial Detention Center on $1,000 (£670) bail as WENN went to press.
Packard earned an Emmy nomination for helping to choreograph a 2001 Michael Jackson TV special and has worked with artists including Destiny’s Child, Missy Elliot, Pink and Liza Minelli. He is also well-known for his appearances on U.S. reality show Hogan Knows Best.

Actor JEREMY RENNER received a harsh lesson in the art of romance from pop superstar CHER on Wednesday (24Nov10) when he discovered women do not like to be addressed as "ma’am".
The stars were both guests on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Renner was discussing his heist film The Town with the presenter when Cher quizzed him about the reality of the movie, about a group of career criminals who target banks in Boston, Massachusetts.
Interrupting Leno’s interview with The Hurt Locker star, Cher asked, "Isn’t it hard with technology? You can just go in with guns and do that?" Turning to the singer/actress, Renner replied, "Yes ma’am." But he soon learned to drop the abbreviated term for madam from his vocabulary after telling Leno, "Chicks dig that!", prompting Cher to set him straight and exclaim, "No they don’t! No, no, no!" And a surprised Renner took the news in his stride, quipping, "No wonder I’m single!"

WOODY ALLEN has ruled out ever adapting another writer’s work for the big screen, insisting he’d hate to use someone else’s script.
The prolific filmmaker writes and directs his own films and is famed for completing at least one movie every year, but he is adamant he would never try to halve his workload by hiring a screenwriter.
Allen has also vowed never to turn his own scripts over to another director, because he enjoys having control over his characters.
He tells Britain’s Total Film magazine, "I’m essentially a writer. That’s what I do. I like to write and I only direct because I want to get my vision as a writer onto the screen. The fun for me is creating the thing. It would not be fun for me to take someone else’s script and direct it.
"I’m a writer who directs things for survival, so I don’t turn it over to someone else and then think, ‘Oh my God, he’s gotten everything wrong and he’s doing a bad job and they cast the wrong people.’"

JULIANNE MOORE was so determined to cast ANNETTE BENING as her onscreen lover in THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, she emailed the actress directly to personally offer her the role.
The actresses come together in the film about a lesbian couple and their kids’ search for their sperm donor dad.
Director Lisa Cholodenko suggested Bening as a co-star for Moore, and the redhead loved the idea of working with the American Beauty icon.
And Moore was so anxious to sign Bening up, she took the unusual step of bypassing her agent and contacting the star herself.
She tells TheWrap.com, "She (Cholodenko) very generously said, ‘Let’s talk about who should play opposite you.’ And she said, ‘What do you think of Annette Bening?’ "I said, ‘I think that’s a great idea. I don’t know her, but let me email her.’ Because it’s so much faster. As great as our agents are, if you wait for an offer for an independent film to go through, it takes a long time to go through the channels. But if you get an email from an actor that you know even casually, I’ll read something right away.
"I wrote her a nice email saying how much Lisa and I wanted her to do it, and she responded right away and then she was in."

Pop star RIHANNA was left baffled by KANYE WEST’s bizarre questions as he interviewed her for a new magazine feature.
The Bajan beauty appears on the cover of the latest issue of Interview and she agreed to sit down for a chat with West to accompany the photoshoot.
But West’s strange line of questioning soon confused the Umbrella hitmaker and she was left struggling to find answers to his enquiries.

JANET JACKSON is planning to seal her return to music next year (11) with a massive global tour - and she’s asking fans to nominate the cities where she will perform.
The singer has announced a 35-date trek to mark the success of her 2009 Number Ones album and she’s reached out to her loyal followers to decide on her schedule.
Announcing the tour in a video on her website, Jackson reveals she’s letting her fans choose the cities she’ll play - and the first person to nominate each chosen city will receive signed memorabilia from the star.
She says, "I’ve heard from all of you, my fans, whose love I cherish dearly. Many have asked when will I tour again - well I am really excited to announce my largest ever world tour, celebrating 35 number ones.
"You’ll hear all the hits in 35 cities, which I want you to help me select. I’m reaching out to all of my fans to seek your input about the cities where I will perform. You will be able to indicate on my website janetjackson.com the city of your choice.
"Because your voices and your votes are so important to me, the first fan that I hear from in each of the cities I select will receive an autographed copy of my Number Ones CD and an autographed copy of my book True You." HALLE BERRY is desperate to have another baby, but the actress is worried she’s running out of time as she approaches her mid-40s.
The Oscar-winning star has a two-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, and Berry admits she longs to give the youngster a sibling.
But the former Bond girl fears that at the age of 44, she might be leaving it too late.
She tells the New York Post, "I’d love more children. I’m 44, so who knows how much longer I can wait?" Berry also concedes she will have to change the way she works once her daughter starts school, as she will no longer be able to take her along to her movie shoots.

LANCE BASS has blamed JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’s blossoming acting career for hampering a potential ‘N SYNC reunion - because the superstar is too "busy" to revive the boyband.

The MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise will live on if TOM CRUISE bows out - and JEREMY RENNER insists he’s poised to take over.
The Hurt Locker star is currently filming Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol in Dubai, playing a younger member of Cruise’s Impossible Missions Force team.
He refuses to confirm whether the upcoming fourth movie will see Cruise hand over control of the team but hints that film bosses could be grooming him for future installments.
When asked if he was cast to eventually take over from Cruise, he tells MTV.com, "It’s a franchise to potentially take over. I can’t predict the future and what they want, but that’s certainly the idea.
"I can’t really go into the details of the script, because that’s still evolving. It’s Tom’s baby. He’s the engine behind the thing. What happens after that, we’ll see."

The softcore porn film which marked SYLVESTER STALLONE’s onscreen debut looks set to resurface after the movie rights were put up for sale.
The Hollywood actor took a role in 1970 erotic picture The Party at Kitty and Stud’s because he was desperate for cash, and the film later re-emerged under a new titled, Italian Stallion, several years later (76) after Stallone found fame.
Bosses at Bryanston Distributors own the rights and the original negatives, and were due to sell them to the MGM movie studio in 2009, but the deal fell through.
The rights were put up for sale on the open market earlier this month (Nov10) and were bought up for $412,100 (£274,7333), according to Variety.

LEONARDO DiCAPRIO was so baffled by the script for INCEPTION, he had to ask director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to explain the film’s complex plot.
The actor struggled to comprehend the complicated twists and turns of the sci-fi movie and spent hours talking with Nolan about his character Dominic Cobb, a thief who steals information from his unconscious victims while they dream.
DiCaprio tells the Hollywood Reporter: "I needed to know implicitly where we were. It got incredibly confusing at certain points in the beginning, but the more we talked, the more I understood." Meanwhile Inception’s producer Emma Thomas, filmmaker Nolan’s wife, has praised DiCaprio for making the movie more accessible for fans, adding: "The work (Leo) did on his character with Chris made the movie less of a puzzle and more of a story of a character audiences could relate to."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA and CHER are offering up signed BURLESQUE memorabilia for an auction in aid of a hunger relief charity.
The two singing superstars team up for the new movie and they’ve both autographed two limited edition promotional posters to be sold off to benefit the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
Aguilera has also handed over a signed a copy of her Bionic album, a vinyl edition of the record, two collectible photographs and a custom designed box.
All profits from the eBay.com auction, which ends on 29 November (10), will be handed to the WFP.

Punk legend JOHN LYDON has defended the $675 (£450) price tag of his new photobook - insisting he will not be making any money from the publication.
The Sex Pistols frontman has released a limited edition tome, Mr Rotten’s Scrapbook, which contains paintings, sketches, a vinyl disc of live songs, and handwritten notes from the star.
It costs $568 (£379) to pre-order and will go up to $673 (£450) from 1 December (10), but Lydon is adamant the cover price is justified - because the book was "extremely expensive" to put together.
He tells Mojo magazine, "It’s been extremely expensive to make. There won’t be no (sic) profit margin to speak of. We’ve put it together ourselves. It is chunky - it has to be to fit in the 12-inch vinyl… So yeah, this is a family book, for fans. Those who want to join in, that’s the cost. I’m not asking you to buy it, you don’t have to." Publishers of the book have also included a fun competition for fans - 100 copies contain Willy Wonka-style golden tickets which entitle the winner to a 10-minute webchat with Lydon.

Reformed rock wildman JAY KAY turned his back on his party lifestyle because he became fed-up with his repeated run-ins with police.
The Jamiroquai frontman has endured numerous brushes with the law since shooting to fame in the 1990s - in 2001, he was charged with assaulting a photographer outside a nightclub, and five years later he was given a police caution over another clash with snappers.
He was also banned from driving for six months in 2004 after he was repeatedly caught speeding in his car at more than 100 miles (160 kilometres) per hour.
But the Space Cowboy hitmaker finally vowed to curb his crazy behaviour when he realised he had become too familiar with the inside of a central London police station.
Kay tells Q magazine, "I’m a good boy now. I got forced into it, really, by our friendly local constabulary. Let’s just say that Savile Row police station might as well have the Jay Kay suite. I haven’t been out, actually, since the last fracas." But despite his years of wild living, Kay insists he never succumbed to the rock star stereotype of sprinkling cocaine on his breakfast cereal, adding: "No way. It was never really like that. Some people can hoof it up; I was so hyper that a gram would keep me up for a day and a half so, you know, f**k that…"

Teen sensation JUSTIN BIEBER has shown off his charitable side by promising to donate a portion of proceeds from his new album to children’s hospitals in the U.S.
The Baby hitmaker is teaming up with the Children’s Miracle Network, a charity which raises funds for 170 kids’ hospitals across North America, to launch a new fundraising campaign.
And to kick off the drive, Bieber is handing over a percentage of money made from My Worlds Acoustic, which is released in the U.S. on Friday (26Nov10).
He explains, "I am in the position to give back thanks to my fans and God. I wrote (track) Pray thinking I wanted to help others and I feel like I have a responsibility to do so.

The rapper is adamant that even his close family members use his stage moniker when addressing him, and he finds it frustrating when he has to revert to his real name when crossing borders.
He often argues with immigration bosses when they call him William Adams - and they always ignore his pleas.
