British singer ALEXANDRA BURKE and boyband JLS are teaming up to launch a joint clothing line.
The Beat Again hitmakers were runners-up to Burke on U.K. TV show The X Factor in 2008, but they’ve put their former rivalry behind them to join forces to design pieces for their 2KX fashion range, which will hit British stores in the spring (11).
And to mark their stylish collaboration, they’ve designed a limited edition t-shirt for the Help a London Child Christmas Appeal.
JLS singer Oritse Williams says, "We wanted to keep on giving something back to the kids in London who need our help. We’re asking our fans to show us some love, buy the t-shirt and help us raise as much money as possible for this brilliant charity."

Comedy singer ‘WEIRD’ AL YANKOVIC regrets turning down $5 million (£3.3 million) to promote a beer company - because the cash would have been "handy".
The funnyman, famous for his parodies of songs by stars including Michael Jackson and Nirvana, was offered a huge pay cheque to become the commercial face of an unnamed alcohol firm.
He refused the offer on moral grounds - but now admits he regrets his decision every day.
Yankovic tells Mojo magazine, "I don’t have a whole lot of regrets. A number of years ago a beer company offered me five million dollars, back when that was a lot of money, to be their commercial spokesperson.
"I turned it down because a lot of my fans were young and impressionable, so ethically I believe I did the right thing, but not a day goes by when I don’t think, ‘Hmm, an extra five million dollars would really come in handy."

British rocker SHAUN RYDER has been bitten by a snake in the Australian jungle as he competes in U.K. TV show I’M A CELEBRITY… GET ME OUT OF HERE!.
The Happy Mondays frontman was trying to retrieve keys to free himself from a locked "cell" when the non-venomous reptile clamped its jaws around his right hand and sunk its fangs into his thumb and forefinger.
Ryder calmly tried to remove his hand from the box containing the keys - which were "guarded" by the snake - but the creature wrapped its body around his fist and continued to bite him.
Two specially-trained rangers intervened and eventually prised the snake off Ryder. Medics then cleaned his bleeding wound and bandaged his hand.
The Kinky Afro hitmaker said after the incident, "The geezer (ranger) said I did the right thing to do - don’t panic, just let it sink its teeth into you and wrap itself around you… If that hadn’t have been someone’s animal I would have smashed it."

LIL KIM has rejected calls from her rap rival NICKI MINAJ to end their public feud after releasing a new song in which she takes aim at the hip-hop newcomer.
Minaj was left heartbroken when her idol Kim accused her of copying her style and Lil Wayne’s protegee reached out to the rap veteran during a radio interview earlier this week (begs22Nov10), urging the Lady Marmalade hitmaker to put their differences behind them.
She said, "I felt like, (Lil Kim is) going to go down in history now as a sore loser as opposed to going down in history as the queen because if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. You don’t have to feel the need to put somebody down to make yourself feel better." But Kim is refusing to make peace and has instead blasted Minaj as a "fraud" on Black Friday - a play on Minaj’s album title Pink Friday - alleging she used her sexual prowess to land a record deal with Lil Wayne.
On the track, Kim spits, "Aight, you Lil Kim clone clown/ all this buffoonery s**t stops now/ Time for you to lay down/ I’m sick of the fraud/ I’ll put hands on this b**ch like Obama’s guards.
"We all know your last name/ what got you your job/ You a put together gimmick/ something like a collage."

MICHAEL BUBLE has a big reason to be thankful as he tours across the U.S. on the country’s Thanksgiving holiday (25Nov10) - his trek has been ranked the highest-grossing North American tour this week (beg22Nov10).
The Grammy-winner’s Crazy Love concerts have pulled in over $1.4 million (£933,330), according to new figures released by trade publication Pollstar, which compiled the numbers based on average box office gross per city.
Following the singer closely at two is Dave Matthews Band, taking in over $1.3 million (£866,670), while The Black Eyed Peas trail at three, falling just short of $1.2 million (£800,000).
Rounding out the top five are Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers ($1.1 million/£733,330) and Canadian rock band Rush ($763,265/£508,840).

JENA MALONE broke down in tears on her first day of filming forthcoming action movie SUCKER PUNCH after completing a series of excruciating stunts.
The actress plays one of a group of weapon-wielding female inmates who band together to break out of an asylum and take down their captors.
Malone underwent vigorous training with her co-stars Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish and Emily Browning, but admits nothing could have prepared her for the punishing shoot.
She tells Britain’s Total Film magazine, "I had to learn everything from (handling) swords to guns to burlesque dancing.
"In a lot of ways it felt like being in an asylum. You come in and you’re given vitamins, you have very specific breaks, your whole day is scheduled. And then you’re just getting the s**t kicked out of you.
"I remember the first day I was just crying, my whole body was red."

Actor ED WESTWICK’s parents constantly question him about his personal life - because they are baffled by his headline-hitting antics.
The Gossip Girl star moved from his native England to the U.S. at the beginning of his career and is regularly seen on the red carpet and out and about in New York with on/off girlfriend Jessica Szohr.
His mum and dad keep up-to-date with Westwick’s American adventures by scouring the internet for stories about their son - and they often quiz him about the gossip.
He tells Britain’s Company magazine, "It’s very bizarre. There are things written that you wish weren’t, things that aren’t anyone else’s business. At first it was weird, surreal, frustrating, but if people want to print s**t they’re going to print s**t.
"My mum and dad scale the internet 24/7 so the stories bother them more. I speak to them three or four times a week but they’re always like, ‘I saw this picture of you, what’s going on?’ They’re funny."

Actress SOFIA VERGARA’s boyfriend NICK LOEB is officially free to wed the sexy Colombian - his divorce from his wife of five years was finalised last week (16Nov10).
Aspiring politician Loeb began dating the Modern Family star earlier this year (10) after splitting from his wife Anna and filing for legal separation.
The divorce papers were signed off by a judge on 16 November (10) and Loeb agreed to pay Anna a total of $15,000 (£10,000) in alimony, according to America’s Star magazine.
Loeb was recently forced to dismiss rumours he had proposed to Vergara after she helped to nurse him back to health following an horrific car accident in August (10).

KANYE WEST is expected to make his fourth consecutive debut at the top of the U.S. albums chart with his new album MY BEAUTIFUL DARK TWISTED FANTASY.
Experts predict West’s new album will rocket to the top of the Billboard 200 chart with sales exceeding 500,000 copies following its 22 November (10) release.
The figure, which meets the minimum an album needs to be certified gold in America, is almost 100,000 more than West scored with his last album, 2008’s 808s and Heartbreaks.
His 2005 record Late Registration sold 860,000 copies in its first week while his follow-up, Graduation, sold 957,000 back in 2007.
Official numbers will be released by Billboard on Sunday (28Nov10).

Hip-hop mogul BRYAN ‘BIRDMAN’ WILLIAMS took to the streets of his native New Orleans, Louisiana this week (23Nov10) to serve up a Thanksgiving dinner to those less fortunate.
The Cash Money Records CEO, who is Lil Wayne’s mentor, held his 15th annual turkey giveaway on Tuesday - two days before the official American holiday - to dish out meals to the needy.
The event was held in Shakespeare Park, across the street from the housing projects where the hip-hop star grew up, and he admits giving back to the community has allowed him to reconnect with his hometown.
Williams tells MTV News, "It feels good to see people that you grew up with, that you’ve been knowing your whole life and your family. (They) know more about you than you know about yourself.
"They see us on TV so much, but never get to see us (in person). But for them to see us, shake our hands, tell us they know our momma, they know our daddy, so many that watched me as a kid that tried to keep my head straight when I was younger - it feels great, not just good."

Heavyweight singer CARNIE WILSON is no longer the spokesmodel for healthy food service The Fresh Diet amid allegations she cheated on the eating plan while promoting her own range of cheesecakes.
The Wilson Phillips star, who once weighed in at 300 pounds (136 kilograms), famously underwent gastric bypass surgery in 1999 and lost half of her body weight.
She piled on the pounds once again while pregnant with daughters Lola and Luciana, and signed on to star in her own reality show Carnie Wilson: Unstapled to get her back on track after weighing in at 212 pounds (96 kilograms).
She signed up to represent the food-delivery firm in February (10) as she continued her battle against the bulge but their relationship was severed on 10 November (10).
Her representative insists her contract with the company was up, but Wilson has been accused of failing to stick to the diet she had agreed to promote and only shedding 19 pounds (8.6 kilograms) during her time on the programme. Her limited weight loss even prompted The Fresh Diet executives to remove her image from their website, which is used to boast about successful cases.
Ezzy Duchman, publicist for The Fresh Diet, tells Star magazine, "Carnie was promoting her cheesecakes while she was supposed to be only eating our three meals and two snacks a day.
"We had to take her off the corporate website because she has not been a successful case. She didn’t stick to it, and she didn’t lose weight. We had to cut ties with her."

LIMP BIZKIT frontman FRED DURST served up a treat for fans online on Wednesday (24Nov10), when he gave them a sneak peek of the band’s first record in over 10 years.
The group has been blighted by fall outs between Durst and guitarist Wes Borland, who quit Limp Bizkit in 2001 and again in 2006 after a number of well-publicised fights.
His departure marked the start of a long hiatus for the group, but the pair healed its rift and reunited the act with bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto and DJ Lethal in February 2009.
They began recording their fifth studio album, Gold Cobra - the follow-up to 2000’s Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water - six months later.
And Durst gave fans a peek at its progress during a live web chat on Wednesday, playing snippets from a series of tunes, including a song featuring Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon.
Durst also confirmed the project would feature an appearance by KISS star Gene Simmons, who introduces the album in spoken word, by playing the track.
Simmons was heard saying, "The oh so element Gold Cobra. Shimmering venomously with beauty and grace as it slithers along its path to inevitable chaos. Whomever falls prey to this seductive serpent shall be forever scarred." However, Durst admitted the band has yet to select which tracks will make the record, telling viewers: "59 songs and only 11 are on the Cobra." Gold Cobra is expected for release next year (11).

Pop superstar CHER developed a relationship with screenwriter RON ZIMMERMAN after meeting him on social networking website Facebook.com.
The Believe hitmaker, 64, began dating Zimmerman earlier this year (10), but their romance has since cooled and they are now the closest of friends.
She tells U.S. TV host Jay Leno, "We’re hillybilly cousins right now. We’re trying to get through the part with the boyfriend/girlfriend to best friends. We’re having a hard time with it." And Cher, who has a concert residency in Las Vegas, admits she has the internet to thank for putting her in touch with Zimmerman - because she became intrigued by his "strange" personality after seeing his profile on Facebook.
She says, "I met him on Facebook. Really! In Vegas sometimes I get a really bad throat so I can’t talk so my friend Laurie said, ‘You should come on Facebook, I’m on Facebook with a lot of old friends, you can keep in touch with them in different time zones.’ And then on her page there was this really funny guy, who said the weirdest things. Like, under religion, it said ‘Zeus’. He’s very strange but a really funny guy." But Zimmerman, 52, had no idea who he was chatting to because the singer/actress couldn’t display her real name on her profile page - and he initially assumed Cher’s regular trips to Sin City meant she was a prostitute or cross-dressing performer.
She explains, "We started writing each other and he thought I was either a hooker, a female impersonator, or a transvestite, because he couldn’t imagine why I was so upset that I had to go back and forth to Las Vegas. He didn’t know who I was, it didn’t say my name (on my Facebook page) because my name was already taken!" Cher had no intention of taking the online relationship any further and reluctantly agreed to start talking to Zimmerman on the phone - and that was the beginning of their beautiful relationship.
She continues, "For a month while I was in Vegas we chatted and had great times, and then he said, ‘We have to talk.’ And I was like, ‘That’s not in the bargain for me!’ For me, it was just we chat and never see each other! But then my friend Laurie said, ‘Well he’s really funny, really smart’ and whatever. So I said, ‘OK’. He’d said to Laurie, ‘Age is not a problem’, because he’s younger, however he’s the oldest man I’ve ever dated! So we talked on the phone… and then we met and we got along kinda good."

ANDREW GARFIELD humiliated himself when he was introduced to CHRISTOPHER LLOYD - he turned into a "screaming schoolgirl" upon meeting the BACK TO THE FUTURE legend.
The British actor was left completely starstruck by Lloyd and now regrets losing his cool in the presence of his idol.

He adds, "I personally haven’t been on the receiving end of that, thankfully. Maybe naively, I think my life is going to stay the same in terms of anonymity (after playing Spider-Man).
"I feel it’s so important to have a normal life, to be able to walk down a city street and have a normal human experience in order to reflect that in the work. Otherwise, you can’t relate. It’s so funny how actors are perceived. It’s craziness."

Former female boxing champ CHRISTY MARTIN is expected to make a full recovery after suffering "non life-threatening" injuries when she was reportedly shot and stabbed by her husband.
Martin stumbled out onto the street, where she managed to flag down a passing motorist who took her to an Orange County medical centre to seek treatment on Wednesday (24Nov10), reports TMZ.com.
She spoke to police and identified her husband, trainer James Martin, as the attacker and cops are now on the hunt for the 66 year old.
Her spokesperson tells the website Martin is coherent and "will be okay", adding the injuries "are not life-threatening".
Martin, who held the World Boxing Council Women’s Jr. Welterweight world championship title in the early 1990s, is widely regarded as one of the most successful and prominent female boxers of all time.

Hollywood star BILLY BOB THORNTON is eating only raw foods this Thanksgiving (25Nov10) after adopting a "ridiculous" diet consisting of fruit, vegetables and cereal.
The actor admits he goes through phases where he will refuse to chow down on cooked meals in favour of surviving on a minimalist diet.
But he confesses eating so healthily has nothing to do with animal rights.
He says, "I only eat raw food, it’s beyond a vegan. It’s ridiculous.
"I’ve done it off and on for years and years. So I’ll go for a year and eat raw and then go back to the regular stuff. I mean I don’t have anything against butchering cows, it’s not a moral thing. It’s just a health thing. It allows me to do things I wanna do so I eat really healthy and it balances out the other things I like to do, like smoke." And he insists his own dietary requirements won’t have an impact on his family’s traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday (25Nov10).
He adds, "It really doesn’t bother me to be around people with actual food. Everybody else in the family will have the regular meal, turkey, stuffing."

Hollywood madam HEIDI FLEISS escaped injury on Thursday (25Nov10) after her Nevada house caught on fire.
A blaze was sparked at Fleiss’ residence in Pahrump, a town about 60 miles (96.56 kilometres) outside of Las Vegas, on the morning of America’s Thanksgiving holiday.
The fire was put out and no injuries were reported, according to TMZ.com.
A neighbour tells the website Fleiss had recently installed something in her fireplace, and the blaze is thought to have originated from the same room.

A rare DARTH VADER costume from STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK remains in possession of a London auction house after failing to sell on Thursday (25Nov10).
The full outfit from the 1980 movie, comprising of a helmet, mask, shoulder armour and shin guards, was bought by a private U.S. collector in 2003.
The costume is thought to be the first complete one to be put up for sale at auction, but it failed to spark a bidding frenzy when it went under the hammer at Christie’s.
Instead, bidding stopped at $236,505 (£150,000), falling short of the reserve price, which remains confidential.
A spokesperson for the auction house had previously priced the costume at $340,000 (£230,000).
