Actress PATSY KENSIT has been voted off STRICTLY COME DANCING, just days after crediting the British reality show with helping to heal the heartache of her fourth marriage breakdown.
The Lethal Weapon 2 star admitted earlier this week (begs22Nov10) she was convinced the intense training for the series was what she needed to take her mind off her separation from DJ Jeremy Healy in April (10).
She revealed, "This whole Strictly experience has been such an amazing diversion from my life. I would advise anyone to try it.
"If you’ve had a rough time, go to a dance class because it does lift your spirits. It’s turned out to be just what I needed." But British viewers were unimpressed with Kensit’s tango on Saturday night (27Nov10), and she was kicked off the show on Sunday (28Nov10).
However the actress has vowed to carry on dancing, telling host Tess Daly, "I’ve had the most incredible time. It’s been the most beautiful experience. To my two beautiful boys at home, you’ve got your mum back now! I’ll be dancing while making your tea." Kensit is mum to two sons; 17-year-old James, by rocker Jim Kerr, and Lennon, 11, by Liam Gallagher.

Controversial new horror movie A SERBIAN FILM has received an unwanted accolade - it is the most cut film in Britain in the last 16 years.
The movie tells the story of a former porn star who unwittingly becomes the star of a sick snuff movie, and it has been banned at film events throughout Europe.
Director Srdjan Spasojevic has been forced back into the editing suite by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) so he can release the film in U.K. cinemas.
And editors were forced to remove a chunk of the film - four minutes and 11 seconds of its original content - to satisfy the BBFC board, according to the BBC.
The cut is the most a director has had to remove from a film since 1994 Indian movie Nammavar, which had five minutes and eight seconds of violent footage edited out.

Troubled Broadway musical SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK encountered a last-minute problem on Saturday (27Nov10) when the production’s only full rehearsal was cancelled ahead of its first preview performance on Sunday (28Nov10).
The play, directed by Julie Taymor and featuring music by U2’s Bono and The Edge, has suffered numerous setbacks in recent months as producers scrambled to solve a series of technical and safety issues and the launch date was recently pushed back until January (11).
But the show, which cost more than $65 million (£43.3 million) to stage, had its only complete run through scrapped this weekend - and will instead be performed in its entirety for the first time on Sunday (28Nov10), in front of reporters and 1,800 paying audience members, reports the New York Post.
An industry insider tells the publication individual scenes, which include an array of aerial stunts, had been rehearsed, but the cast and crew had yet to go from start to finish prior to Sunday night’s debut at the Foxwoods Theatre.

Action man DWAYNE JOHNSON’s family members were tough Samoans - his grandfather once bit a fellow wrestler’s eye during a hotel brawl.
The Scorpion King star has had his own famous bouts in the ring, but he has never hit the headlines for scraps outside of the wrestling arena.
His grandfather, who was also a top wrestler, was always fighting - especially when someone disrespected him, his family or his roots.
The movie star explains, "My family is known as being one of, if not the toughest, in wrestling; when they would get in fights… somebody’s nose would be gone… an ear would be gone.
"There was this one time my grandfather was eating. He was on this tour, wrestling… and one of these wrestlers was making fun of him, how he was eating with his hands.
"They wound up getting into this huge fight that wound up going from the hotel restaurant, through the hotel lobby… through the window… out in the streets.
"The guy wound up hooking my grandfather… so he tied up completely (couldn’t move); my grandfather bit his eye out."

British singer LILY ALLEN has launched a bitter online attack at a U.K. journalist who reported the star is planning to marry next year (11) to help her overcome the loss of her baby.
The Smile hitmaker was left devastated after losing her unborn son six months into her pregnancy in October (10). The tragedy was compounded when she was hospitalised with septicaemia, which can occur when foetal material left behind in the womb after a miscarriage becomes infected.
Allen has retreated to her English countryside home to grieve for her loss, and Britain’s Mail on Sunday columnist Katie Nicholl claimed that she and boyfriend Sam Cooper were set to walk down the aisle in the New Year (11) after "they realised through their grief that they absolutely adore one another and cannot live without each other".
But an angry Allen has taken aim at the writer on Twitter.com, launching a foul-mouthed tirade against Nicholl.
On her page, she writes, "Katie Nicholl you’re a lying c**t, leave me out of your s**tty column, you know nothing.
"I’m sorry, but there’s a time and a place for disrespectful, badly researched or just made up journalism. It’s not now Katie Nicholl."

LADY GAGA, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and USHER are among the stars logging off Twitter and Facebook to help raise $1 million (£666,700) for ALICIA KEYS’ children’s charity.
The pop superstars have agreed to sign off of all social networking sites as part of a new campaign, Digital Life Sacrifice, to raise donations for Key’s Keep A Child Alive Foundation.
The stars will turn off their computers on Wednesday (01Dec10) to mark World AIDS Day, and won’t return to tweeting and updating their Facebook pages until the target of $1 million is raised.
Keys tells the Associated Press, "It’s really important and super-cool to use mediums that we naturally are on.
"It’s so important to shock you to the point of waking up. It’s not that people don’t care or it’s not that people don’t want to do something, it’s that they never thought of it quite like that.
"This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic of a way to get people to pay attention."

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is set to mount a huge advertising campaign to convince Academy Awards bosses he is worthy of an Oscar nomination next year (11) for his role in THE SOCIAL NETWORK, according to U.S. reports.

"Sony is footing the bill for advertising the awards campaign, but Justin is also doing things his own way, including attending Academy screenings on his own and privately reaching out to award winners and Academy darlings Tom Hanks and Kevin Spacey for campaigning advice."

Pregnant pop star PINK has put her rowdy days behind her now she’s expecting, but she misses "scrapping" as she hasn’t had a "real good fight" in years.
The feisty singer is preparing to become a mother for the first time with her husband Carey Hart, and is settling down into family life.
Pink is adamant she has calmed down a lot in recent years, but still yearns for an explosive argument because life can become "boring" without the odd punch-up.

Country legend WILLIE NELSON has been charged with marijuana possession following his Friday morning (26Nov10) arrest in Texas.
The singer’s tour bus was pulled over by Border Patrol police at a Sierra Blanca checkpoint and an officer embarked on a search of the vehicle after reportedly smelling pot.
Six ounces (170 grams) of marijuana was found and Nelson, along with two other people, was arrested on suspicion of drug possession.
The 77 year old was booked in Hudspeth County Jail and posted $2,500 (£1,670) bail. A spokesman for the U.S. Border Patrol has now confirmed the legendary musician has been charged with possession after admitting that the drugs belonged to him.

Australian singer PETER ANDRE is recovering from an emergency operation on Friday (26Nov10) after he was hospitalised with "excruciating" stomach pains.
The Mysterious Girl star was struck down with a mystery illness on Thursday (25Nov10) and was taken to a hospital to be "monitored closely" by doctors, forcing him to cancel the opening date of his U.K. tour on Friday night in Plymouth, south-west England.
But concerned medics decided to rush Andre into the operating theatre on Friday for an "emergency" procedure. He is now recovering at home after being released from the facility.
A post on his official website says, "Peter had to have an emergency operation yesterday afternoon which was a success. Pete was released from hospital earlier today and is recovering.
"Peter would like to thank everyone for their support and their messages." According to the site, Andre intends to return to the stage as early as Sunday night (28Nov10).

NATALIE PORTMAN and BARBARA HERSHEY became penpals as they were making new movie BLACK SWAN - because they couldn’t be on set together.
The two stars play mother and daughter in the film but had no time to bond before shooting started, so director Darren Aronofsky suggested the two actresses write to each other.
Portman says, "Darren did a really beautiful thing where he had Barbara write letters to me in character as Erica to Nina for the first portion of the film. He’d hand them to me during important days of shooting that I should feel my mother.
"Barbara wrote really, really gorgeous letters." Hershey adds, "It was an amazing idea because I couldn’t be around and she was in the midst of filming and I was in Europe, so it was a chance to feel each other’s characters and it came out of me without any thought.
"The letters were very easy to write which really shocked me. It gave me the door to my character which was great."

The movie star insists on researching his roles and admits he was a little lost when it came to studying to play Starman in the 1984 John Carpenter film.

An insider tells the publication, "James stayed another hour-and-a-half after the taping and talked to every single student and fan who wanted to talk.
"No one has done that since Paul Newman… the very first guest that ever appeared on the show." And Lipton admits Franco caused quite the commotion with his female fans in the audience: "Seventeen years filming this show and I’ve never heard a sound like that before."

KANYE WEST received a frosty reception from New Yorkers at the city’s annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (25Nov10) - the rapper was booed as he performed for the crowds.

JOHNNY DEPP has banned phones from his house in France to ensure his private time with his family is uninterrupted.
The Hollywood actor shares a luxury home in the country with his partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children, and he makes sure they can relax during their stays there by cutting contact with the outside world.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "When I’m at our house in France I totally cut myself off from the rest of the world. I never have to listen to phones ringing and that’s because - and Vanessa would confirm this - phones are banned from the house.
