WESTWICK’S PARENTS QUIZ HIM ON GOSSIP
Actor ED WESTWICK’s parents constantly question him about his personal life - because they are baffled by his headline-hitting antics.
The Gossip Girl star moved from his native England to the U.S. at the beginning of his career and is regularly seen on the red carpet and out and about in New York with on/off girlfriend Jessica Szohr.
His mum and dad keep up-to-date with Westwick’s American adventures by scouring the internet for stories about their son - and they often quiz him about the gossip.
He tells Britain’s Company magazine, "It’s very bizarre. There are things written that you wish weren’t, things that aren’t anyone else’s business. At first it was weird, surreal, frustrating, but if people want to print s**t they’re going to print s**t.
"My mum and dad scale the internet 24/7 so the stories bother them more. I speak to them three or four times a week but they’re always like, ‘I saw this picture of you, what’s going on?’ They’re funny."
