The I Believe I Can Fly singer beat out Mary J
. Blige, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey on the Billboard.com countdown, while his Best of Both Worlds album collaborator Jay-Z is the top rapper on the list - at eight.
The top 10 also features Usher, Alicia Keys and late soul star Luther Vandross.
