Rapper GUCCI MANE has checked himself into a drug treatment centre in Georgia to deal with his alleged cocaine addiction, according to reports.
The hip-hop star, who completed a six month jail term in May (10) for a probation violation, is said to have admitted himself to a rehab facility in Riverdale last Thursday (14Oct10) after an intervention led by his manager, lawyer and entourage.
Ozonemag.com reports Mane, real name Radric Davis, enrolled in a 28-day programme.
The rapper is no stranger to drugs - he was busted for a DUI charge in 2008 and blamed a previous arrest on his marijuana use.

HENRY WINKLER and SCOTT BAIO are leading tributes to their late HAPPY DAYS co-star TOM BOSLEY, who died on Tuesday (19Oct10), aged 83.
The beloved American actor, best-known as Happy Days patriarch Howard Cunningham on the hit 1970s and 80s TV sitcom, passed away at a hospital in Rancho Mirage, California after battling a staph infection.
Winkler tells TMZ.com, "I saw him before I ever got to Hollywood on Broadway, and he was great. And then I got to act with him for 10 years and he was great. Tom Bosley was our mentor. He was a true artist… a great husband, and a fabulous father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten." Baio also marked the death by stating, "He was a good man who taught me a lot about the (movie) business and business itself. He was a professional guy… I’m sad."

American football star JUNIOR SEAU has been released from hospital after driving his vehicle off a cliff in California on Monday (18Oct10).
The former San Diego Chargers star was admitted to Scripps La Jolla Hospital in San Diego after he drove his SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) off the edge of the road and over a cliff in Carlsbad.
A hospital spokesperson tells TMZ.com Seau was treated for cuts and bruises and checked out on Tuesday morning (19Octo10).
Police are now investigating the crash, which reportedly occurred hours after Seau was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
He was taken into custody by California police at around 2am on Monday (18Oct10) and booked into the Vista Detention Facility following an altercation with an unidentified female. He was released shortly afterwards.
Officials tells the website Seau did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol but he was given a blood test after the accident.
Results from the blood test are expected within six weeks.

ANDY SERKIS was once strangled by a crazed female fan - after refusing to impersonate his LORD OF THE RINGS character GOLLUM for her.
The British actor was enjoying a family trip to Disneyland in the U.S. when a young woman approached him and asked the star to speak in his most famous role’s creepy voice.
Serkis politely declined - but the furious woman grabbed him by the throat and refused to let go until he agreed to perform.
He tells ShortList magazine, "She grabbed my neck and wouldn’t let me go until I did it. There were 15 people there with her and none of them could get her off me. In the end I just did it to end the ordeal."

Reality TV star KHLOE KARDASHIAN has taken aim at celebrity blogger PEREZ HILTON after he personally asked her to address bullying on her website.
The socialite sister of Kim Kardashian was initially astounded when Perez asked her to film an It Gets Better viral video and post it on her website - because the blogger has been her chief tormentor for years.
As a result, she spent weeks considering what to say about Hilton and bullies in general before posting a stirring seven-minute message online, in which she targets the blogger for ruining her life and making her feel insecure about her looks.
She says, "Perez Hilton asked me himself to do this video and he’s doing such an amazing thing by getting all these celebrities to speak up to people but, for me, Perez has been my personal bully.
"I’ve been bullied, basically, my entire life. I’ve been compared to my sisters since the day I was born. I don’t look exactly like them… I’m bigger than them, but I’m me… I’m just always told how big I am… It’s always something.
"I’ve always struggled with my weight, I’ve always struggled with my height, with my hair colour, with my skin colour… and Perez is a major factor (of bullying) in my adult life… I thought bullying would be done, but, in my world, it’s not done because I live in a world where there’s magazines and blogs and people feel like they’re allowed to criticise me in the meanest way.
"Perez has given me the nickname of a transvestite… writing ‘fugly’ on my face - things that are very hurtful to me. I believe in freedom of speech and I believe in doing your own thing, but I also believe you should treat others how you wanna be treated.
"Perez definitely has made my self esteem lower at times; he’s definitely made me very insecure… He’s made me not wanna go out because I knew the next day, if I took one bad picture, he would have something written about me on his website.
"It lets everybody else open to that analysis of me and that’s not fun; to be analysed by millions and millions of people and 60 per cent of that is very negative." But, in signing up for Hilton’s challenge following a string of U.S. high school suicides related to bullying, Kardashian is hoping to send out a positive message to kids that are struggling with mean tormentors.
She adds, "No matter what, you can always work out of it, you can always move past it… I don’t think anybody should ever take their life for being bullied… I don’t think anything gets that bad.
"But if it wasn’t for my family… and my circle of friends, I could definitely see why someone would see it doesn’t get any better than this… but it does. Life is so beautiful." Hilton has promised to stop poking fun at celebrities on his website after he was outed as a leading source of torment by young stars and their fans.

A pink designer dress worn by the late DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES has gone under the hammer for almost $205,500 (£137,000).
The fuschia evening gown by Victor Edelstein was among a collection of top celebrity memorabilia, including props worn by Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley, which were sold at the Gotta Have It! Rock and Pop Culture Auction last week (ends17Oct10).
The late British royal wore the dress to a gala with the President of Hungary in 1992 and it proved to be the biggest draw in the online sale, overshadowing the $62,250 (£41,500) one bidder paid for a pair of gloves worn by Jackson during a photoshoot for his classic album Bad, reports TMZ.com.
A jacket Rolling Stones star Keith Richards wore on the High Tides and Green Grass album sold for $36,000 (£24,000), while a ‘Mr. Tiger’ Karate Diamond Ring owned by Presley was snapped up for $27,350 (£18,230), and a handwritten poem by John Lennon, titled The National Health Cow, went for $21,000 (£14,000).

Former U.K. Prime Minister MARGARET THATCHER has been admitted to hospital after failing to recover from a nasty bout of influenza.
The ‘Iron Lady’ was forced to pull out of her 85th birthday party at her former residence, 10 Downing Street in London, last Wednesday (13Oct10) because she was too ill to attend.
She urged Britain’s current leader David Cameron not to cancel the party, and told the 150 guests in a message that she was "so disappointed" that she wasn’t able to make it to the festivities.
The Baroness was taken to Cromwell Hospital in the British capital on Tuesday (18Oct10) as a "precautionary measure".
Concerns for Thatcher’s health have escalated following a number of strokes. She broke her arm in a fall at her home last year (09).

JOHNNY SHEFFIELD, the actor who played TARZAN’s son in the late 1930s and early 1940s, has died. He was 79.
Sheffield portrayed swimming champion-turned-movie star Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O’Sullivan’s orphaned child, Boy, in films like Tarzan Finds A Son! and Tarzan & The Amazons.
He died at his home in Chula Vista, California on Friday (15Oct10) after suffering a heart attack, according to the Los Angeles Times.
His wife Patty tells the publication he fell from a ladder while pruning a palm tree.
The son of British actor Reginald Sheffield was seven when he first auditioned as Boy and beat 300 other kids to land the role of Weissmuller’s son, rescued from a jungle plane wreck in which his biological parents are killed.
Sheffield had to take swimming lessons from Olympian Weissmuller after studio bosses learned the youngster couldn’t swim.
He played Boy in eight Tarzan films between 1939 and 1947, and later starred in the Bomba, the Jungle Boy film series.
Sheffield went on to earn a business degree and worked in farming, construction and real estate.

Rapper KANYE WEST has vowed never to "give up on life again" after revealing he contemplated suicide during his darkest days of depression.
The Stronger hitmaker made the admission on Monday (18Oct10) at a Los Angeles screening of his new film Runaway, which was attended by his close family and famous friends, including Ryan Phillippe, Pete Wentz and his wife Ashley Simpson-Wentz.
He refused to go into detail about when he experienced his lowest of lows, but hinted his mother’s sudden death in 2007 was the tipping point.
But West claimed he stopped himself from taking his own life after realising he had a duty as a "soldier for culture" to speak out on behalf those whose voices will never be heard.
He told the audience, "There were times that I contemplated suicide. I will not give up on life again. There’s so many people that will never get the chance to have their voice heard. I do it for them…
"I have no mother, no grandmothers, no girlfriend, no daughter, and I lived with a woman my whole life. I feel like a soldier for culture. I have to fight for those who don’t have that." West will make his chart comeback next month (Nov10) when he releases his new album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, a year after he stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and ruined Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech.
He fled his home in the U.S. and spent months living on his own in Japan and Italy after the controversy and the rapper insists his time off has given him the opportunity to find his "creative sweet spot" as a child again.
He said, "I feel like I’ve found my creative sweet spot, to think like a five year old at all times. Make a decision like if I was five, what would I like? What would I like before I was taught what to like?"

TAYLOR SWIFT has lashed out at the "mean" critics who slammed her off-key Grammy night duet with STEVIE NICKS in a candid new song from her upcoming album SPEAK NOW.
The 20-year-old star was panned for her lackluster vocals at the awards show last January (10), which Swift’s team blamed on technical issues.
And now the singer is speaking out about the controversy in a track called Mean from her new record.

Allen tells Stylist magazine, "When we were kids we were always dressing up. We’d do themes like farmyard animals, and we’d all dress up as dormice and pigs." "Now, I don’t have his constitution for forgiving. I hope one day to acquire that. But I don’t hold grudges either. When things happen, I just kind of want to move away from them for a while and hope that things will come back in a more positive light." Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years after campaigning against racial segregation in his country in the 1960s and he later went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

Fashionable hip-hop star PHARRELL WILLIAMS regrets turning his back on his dreams of living in Paris, France after taking the ill-advice of his former manager a decade ago.
The Neptunes superproducer reveals he came close to buying a home in the heart of the French capital so he could fully immerse himself in the culture and fashion of the city.
But Williams decided against investing in Parisian property - and now it’s one of his biggest regrets.
He reveals to Interview magazine, "I’ve debated (buying a place in Paris) for a decade. Like 10 years ago I almost bought a flat (apartment) there just to have a place there in the art district, but my manager at the time convinced me not to. I regret it though, because my experiences being there would have been very different if I’d been staying in my own place."

JUDAS PRIEST frontman ROB HALFORD has waded into the bullying debate - he’s demanding school officials do more to educate youngsters about the dangers of taunting their peers.
Teen bullying has hit headlines in the U.S. in recent weeks following a spate of suicides among depressed gay youths who had been taunted by their classmates.
And Halford, who witnessed bullying first-hand as a kid, is calling on U.S. school officials to implement more effective programmes to reach out to troubled youngsters and their bullies.
He tells About.com, "It’s important to look after each other and to nurture each other, especially in your school years.
"I saw bullying when I was a kid growing up in school. It has always been there. It’s a very peculiar thing. It’s a shame that it takes horrible tragedies like this to bring the spotlight back on. It has to stay there now. It can’t just fizzle out in a couple weeks, like things tend to do in the media.
"Programmes need to be installed in schools, or reinforced. Parents need to keep an eye on their kids a little bit more. The social interaction that’s available 24 hours a day has to be utilised in a strong, educating, promotional way to let people who are going through those periods of their lives know that there’s always somebody you can talk to." And Halford is pleading with troubled teens not to suffer in silence if they are victimised by vicious bullies.
He says, "Don’t feel alone. There’s a way we can help each other get through these types of difficulties." Stars including Daniel Radcliffe, Brittany Snow, Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen DeGeneres and Lance Bass have all spoken out on the subject of bullying this month (Oct10) in a bid to raise awareness of the issue.

GONE BABY GONE actress JILL QUIGG has pleaded not guilty to charges of breaking and entering following an incident in Massachusetts on Friday (15Oct10).
Quigg, who appeared in Ben Affleck’s 2007 directorial debut, was arrested alongside Georgios Keskinidis on suspicion of stealing a TV and printer from an apartment in Quincy, near Boston.
They were identified by witnesses and hauled into court on Monday (18Oct10), when they were arraigned on the burglary charges, among other counts.
Both suspects were subsequently released on their own recognisance.

Funnyman RUSSELL BRAND has sparked rumours he’s wed fiancee KATY PERRY in secret - after he was snapped out in London wearing what appears to be a wedding band.
The couple, which became engaged last December (09) after a whirlwind romance, was rumoured to be exchanging vows in Jaipur, India this weekend (23Oct10).
But gossips have been sent into a spin speculating about a secret wedding after WENN photographed the Brit on Tuesday (19Oct10) wearing a band around his left ring finger.
