BIEBER STILL WITH MANAGER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:26 pm

JUSTIN BIEBER’s mother has dismissed rumours the teenage pop star has fired his manager, branding the reports "absurd".
The Baby hitmaker was said to have dismissed his longtime representative Scooter Braun, but Bieber’s mum Pattie Mallette is adamant stories of a falling out aren’t true.
She has now taken to her Twitter.com page to insist the young star still enjoys a good relationship with his manager.
She writes, "How absurd. Heard the ‘news’ today. Just rumours. Don’t believe everything you hear. Not looking to change any of the Bieber team. Scooter Braun & the rest of the team we love you!" The singer previously defended Braun when he was questioned by police over Bieber’s chaotic appearance at a shopping mall in New York last November (09), which the manager allegedly refused to cancel amid security fears.
The star was pictured wearing a ‘Free Scooter’ t-shirt to show his support.

SWIFT PLANNING FESTIVE PARTY FOR 21ST BIRTHDAY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:26 pm

TAYLOR SWIFT is planning to celebrate her upcoming 21st birthday with a wintry Christmas-themed party.
The country star will reach the milestone on 13 December (10) and admits she is already making arrangements for the big day.
Swift reveals she wants the bash to be full of Christmas cheer to celebrate her love of all things festive.
She tells MTV.com, "The plans for the 21st birthday probably are going to be winter-themed. I love winter. I love Christmas, and my birthday is December 13… When I was a little kid and I was growing up, they’d always have a Santa Claus guy show up and take everybody’s wishes or what they wanted for Christmas. I’m not gonna do that, but there’ll definitely be lots of Christmas-themed things." But Swift is adamant she won’t get drunk at the party when she is legally allowed to try booze.
She adds, "Maybe I’ll have a glass of wine - but nothing too hard-core for me. I’ve never had the burning desire to drink. I need to be in control of what I say, and if I drank, I’d stress out about saying the wrong thing at the wrong time."

GROFF QUIZZED ACTORS FOR TIPS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:23 pm

GLEE actor JONATHAN GROFF has former Broadway stars to thank for his career - he spent his teenage years waiting outside theatres for acting tips.
Groff was so obsessed with making it on stage or screen, he frequently travelled to New York’s famed theatre district to watch a show - and would then loiter at the stage door afterwards.
He would approach his favourite actors and ask for an autograph before quizzing them for advice on how to succeed in the industry.
Groff tells British TV show This Morning, "When I was in high school I would come up to New York all the time and would always go to the stage door after the play and meet the actors and get autographs. It was a very, very important part of the thing for me.
"I would come with a list of questions for actors about what it’s like to be an actor, how do you keep it fresh every day? I asked all sorts of questions and I would write about it in my journal.
"I loved talking to people at the stage door afterwards. I was a teenager wanting to know what it was like to be a working actor, and so I learned a lot from them."

The British funnyman is due to wed pop star Katy Perry in India on Saturday (23Oct10), but he insists he isn’t nervous about marrying a woman whose parents are both Evangelical pastors.
And Brand is adamant Perry’s father Keith Hudson is not disgusted by his wildman past - because Hudson took mindbending hallucinogenic drugs himself in the 1960s and is an Elvis fan.
Brand tells U.K. TV show This Morning, "As it turned out, her dad is really, really lovely. He is more on the rocker/biker side of preaching. He likes Elvis. He used to take acid. There are all sorts of things I can connect to him on - acid and Elvis!"

AGRON APOLOGISES FOR SEXY GLEE SHOTS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:20 pm

GLEE star DIANNA AGRON has apologised for any offence caused by her sexy photoshoot with co-stars LEA MICHELE and CORY MONTEITH - insisting she is "sorry" if the photos made fans "uncomfortable".
The actress is pictured scantily-clad in the latest issue of men’s magazine GQ, along with Michele, who poses in her underwear in the saucy shots.
The cover also features the trio in a provocative pose in which Monteith is seen with his hand on Michele’s butt.
The pictures sparked a swathe of criticism from a parents’ group, who labelled the images borderline "paedophilia" and slammed the stars for the "hyper-sexualised" magazine spread.
Agron has now taken to her internet blog to calm the furore by posting an apology online.
She writes, "In the land of Madonna, Britney, Miley, Gossip Girl, other public figures and shows that have pushed the envelope and challenged the levels of comfort in their viewers and fans… we are not the first… I am sorry. If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention. And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry. But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?" But Agron insists parents should take more control over what their kids look at online.
She adds, "I understand that in today’s world of advanced technology, the internet, our kids can be subject to very adult material at the click of a button. But there are parental locks, and ways to get around this…"
