WATSON ‘GRIT HER TEETH’ DURING POTTER KISS SCENES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:32 pm

EMMA WATSON had to "grit her teeth" during the filming of the latest HARRY POTTER movie when she was called on to kiss both RUPERT GRINT and DANIEL RADCLIFFE.
The next installment of the wizard franchise, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, is set to hit cinemas next month (Nov10) and the film features romantic scenes between Watson and both her co-stars.
Watson admits she felt uncomfortable filming the scenes because she struggled to separate Grint and Radcliffe from their onscreen roles.
She tells SFX magazine, "Getting into character to kiss Dan and Rupert was tough. Forgetting all of our history, and our relationship. Putting all that aside and being in character was pretty b**ody hard, it really was. That required a huge amount of professionalism. I really had to grit my teeth and be like, ‘I am Hermione, this is Harry - stop thinking that it’s Emma kissing Dan. It’s not. It’s all good.’"

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:29 pm

Rapper 50 CENT has explained his recent rumour-spinning liaison with TV star CHELSEA HANDLER - the pair met up to discuss an upcoming film project.
The In Da Club hitmaker sparked reports of a new romance when he was photographed on a night out with Handler at a jazz bar in New Orleans, Louisiana early this month (Oct10).
The pictures surfaced just days after 50 Cent professed his love for her late-night talk show Chelsea Lately and gossips quickly cited them as a new couple.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has branded his most recent solo album "schizophrenic" - and confessed it was written in a "panic" while he was high on drugs.
The Take That singer released his comeback record, Reality Killed the Video Star, last year (09), and its lead single Bodies was his first chart hit for three years.
But Williams has now brushed off the lyrics to Bodies as "gibberish" because they were written as he watched endless documentaries while "stoned".
Williams tells Q magazine, "(Bodies is) a great track but the lyrics are f***ing gibberish, you look at them and go ‘Stop watching documentaries, you k**b.’ "Who knows what I was going on about? I was f**king stoned, the edge had gone… When suddenly you’re not on top of the wave any more and the imperial phase is over, you panic. You’re left to compromise, basically, the last album was schizophrenic - it was like, I’ll put (song) Morning Sun on it because I know (my fans) will like that kind of thing."

COOK’S WEIGHTY BATTLE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:20 pm

Actress RACHAEL LEIGH COOK battled "food issues" as a teenager after she gained weight on the set of her first movie and lost confidence in her looks.
The She’s All That star made her big screen debut at the age of 15 in 1995’s The Babysitter’s Club, and Cook admits she over-indulged in the free food on set.
The 31 year old reveals her self-esteem reached an all-time low when her weight ballooned and she "went too far in the other direction" as she strived to slim down.
She tells Fox News, "I remember gaining quite a bit of weight on the first movie that I worked on because, ‘Hey, free food!’. You’re at that stage where your body is just changing so actively, so it was a natural change, but I remember finishing that film and realising that I had gained probably 10 pounds over the course of filming which is a lot when you’re only 5ft 2in.
"I knew then that I needed to go and really try and get healthy. I went too far in the other direction and I worried my parents for a while, I think it’s fair to say. I think that it’s something that many, many teenage girls go through, especially ones that are achievers and ambitious. You’re looking for a sense of control, and when you’re in a really transitional phase in your teenage years, I think it’s a pretty normal reaction to develop food issues."

VAUGHN AND JAMES LAUNCH STAND-UP TOUR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:20 pm

VINCE VAUGHN and KEVIN JAMES are taking to the road together for a stand-up tour of the U.S.
The actors, who star in new movie The Dilemma, tested out a comedy routine at a recent charity event in Chicago, Illinois and the performance was so successful, they decided to book a series of joint live shows.
Vaughn says, "We were having so much fun making (The Dilemma) that we decided one night to do a charity benefit in Chicago, and it went over really well, it was a lot of fun, and we said why not get a chance to go on the road and go to some places." James adds, "I did stand-up my whole career, and Vince didn’t, and it’s a little frustrating when he’s funnier than me, and that bothers me a little bit. (It’s) a different way to promote a movie and go out and actually meet the people. I think there’s a fair amount of fireworks, a little bit of nudity, and some good heartfelt hugging." The Vince Vaughn & Kevin James Comedy Roadshow kicks off in Boston, Massachusetts on 1 November (10).

COOK FIGHTS BACK OVER BODY IMAGE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:19 pm

Actress RACHAEL LEIGH COOK is rallying against the perfect portrayal of female stars in the media - insisting she is outraged over the "manipulated images" of celebrities which are fed to vulnerable young girls.
The She’s All That star has joined forces with Oscar-winner Geena Davis, the Girl Scouts of the USA and The Creative Coalition to attend a summit in Washington, D.C addressing body image issues for youngsters.
Cook admits she’s "up in arms" about the relentless stream of airbrushed images of famous women plastered over the pages of magazines, and she’s urging young girls not to measure themselves against the impossibly high standards of celebrities.
She tells Fox News, "I did not grow up getting told about how manipulated the images we see of women and girls out there are, and I think it’s an absolute travesty that young women are seeing what the media is feeding them. It breaks my heart to be part of an industry and part of a machine that really pushes out these images and propagates these really terrible standards that are false.
"Nothing that you see is real, even if you look at what looks like a candid photo of someone, anything can be done. It is false advertising and false advertising is a crime so why isn’t this a crime? I’m just up in arms about it." And Cook insists the movie industry should be more honest about the images which are presented to the public.
She adds, "People need to know that there are actual lenses that are put on cameras that make people stretched out. If you saw these actors in person, you wouldn’t even recognise them as the people you see on TV. It’s just all a complete illusion and maybe it should be viewed as art, the way that art isn’t real. The way that a picture of a rose can be beautiful, but it’s not a real rose."

THE CROW DIRECTOR QUITS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:17 pm

BLADE director STEPHEN NORRINGTON has thrown an upcoming remake of THE CROW into jeopardy by quitting the project.
Mark Wahlberg is rumoured to be taking on the role made famous by tragic actor Brandon Lee in an update of the 1994 original.
Singer-turned-scriptwriter Nick Cave has penned a screenplay for the film and Norrington had signed on to direct, but the moviemaker has now confirmed his departure from the project.
Norrington tells Comics2Film, "I’m no longer involved with The Crow. As I had gotten involved explicitly as a writer-director my exit was inevitable. I was bummed. I had developed a genuinely authentic take that respected the source material while moving beyond it, and Nick Cave came in and added more depth. I think the fans would have been pleasantly surprised." But Norrington insists Wahlberg will make a good choice for the lead role: "I think Wahlberg could be cool if they take a gritty blue-collar approach. He’s a truthful actor. I think he could really ground the supernatural stuff." The original movie was marred by tragedy when Lee, son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, was accidentally shot and killed during filming.
