The two stars attempted to stay incognito - but eagle-eyed celebrity spotters have set the blogs alight.
One bystander tells Life & Style magazine, "Taylor and Jake were walking around Park Slope holding hands. They looked like a couple!" Swift has enjoyed romances with John Mayer and Taylor Lautner in the past year, while movie star Gyllenhaal broke off his relationship with Reese Witherspoon at the beginning of 2010.

OZZY OSBOURNE’s once-wayward son JACK OSBOURNE refuses to blame the Hollywood party scene for his own battles with drink and drugs, insisting he found it harder to stay sober in the UK.
The wild Tinseltown lifestyle has been held responsible for the drink and drug demons of a string of stars including Osbourne, his sister Kelly and Lindsay Lohan - all of whom have undergone rehab to kick addictions.
But the rock heir and reality TV star insists there’s a bigger drinking problem in his native Britain.
Osbourne says, "I actually think it’s harder to avoid drinking in England. There’s such a drinking culture, it’s like, ‘Oh it’s lunchtime, let’s go to the pub.’ It’s not like that in America." After a stint in rehab in California for addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs, the 24 year old has been sober for seven years. He adds, "I’ve never had a plan, I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing and hopefully not drink. I don’t ever want to come back to rehab again."

MEL GIBSON’s ex-girlfriend has turned down a lucrative offer to pose nude for Playboy magazine.
Oksana Grigorieva, who is currently embroiled in a custody battle with the movie star over their daughter Lucia, was offered $75,000 (GBP50,000) to strip for the publication - but she will not even consider the idea.
Her publicist Steve Jaffe tells TMZ.com, "Not now, not ever, nor for any amount of money, would Oksana Grigorieva even consider any offer to pose for Playboy."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA’s divorce has got off to a rocky start - her lawyer has filed a motion to disqualify the assigned judge from hearing the case.
The singer announced her separation from Jordan Bratman earlier this month (Oct10) and subsequently filed divorce papers in a bid to officially end the nearly five-year union.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Elia Weinbach was assigned to the case.
However, Aguilera’s lawyer Laura Wasser has filed legal documents disqualifying Weinbach from hearing the proceedings, reports TMZ.com.
Further details regarding the motion had not been released as WENN went to press.
The singer, who shares a two year old son with Bratman, has refused to comment on the reasons behind the split.

He lined them up in the dressing room, asked them to show off a few moves, and decided on a young Russian blonde who couldn’t believe her luck." KEITH RICHARDS has opened up about his volatile relationship with bandmate MICK JAGGER - revealing the ROLLING STONES almost split because of the frontman’s ego.
Richards turns on lifelong pal Jagger in his new memoir Life, set to hit shelves next week (begs01Nov10).
The guitarist says during the 1980s Jagger took control over the band and refused to make group decisions because he thought he was "bigger than the Stones".
He tells the BBC the behaviour "started at first to annoy me and then slowly enraged me." But Richards insists the pair has managed to salvage their friendship over the decades, adding, "nobody has the perfect marriage."

ROD STEWART has clear memories of recording his hit song SAILING - it’s the only track he’s ever sung without drinking booze first.
The singer has confessed he suffers from nerves when he has to perform live or in the studio, and always has a drink before hitting the stage or laying down vocal tracks.
But he had to record Sailing completely sober because there was no alcohol available at the studio in Alabama - and it went on to become one of his most famous songs.
Stewart tells Britain’s Live magazine, "It’s the only song I ever recorded without a drink inside me. My thing was always to have a little tipple before I sang; even now I’ll have a Bacardi and Coke before I go on stage. It just helps.
"But Sailing was recorded in Muscle Shoals, which was a dry area. The producer Tommy Dowd woke me up at ten in the morning saying, ‘Get down here in half an hour; we’ve mixed the track and need the vocal.’ I was like, ‘You’re joking, recording at 10.30 in the morning. I need a drink to calm the old nerves.’ "I was stuffed, because there was nothing to be had anywhere and I was terrified to sing without one. But I did and it turned out to be one of the biggest ones I ever made."

Movie bosses have postponed the release of DANIEL CRAIG’s spooky new film, because the actor is too busy to reshoot scenes.
Studio chiefs had hoped thriller Dream House would be ready to hit theatres on 18 February 2011, but their plans were scuppered when they ordered additional footage and discovered Craig is fully booked for the rest of the year, reports Daily Variety.
The James Bond star is in popular demand, shooting David Fincher’s reworking of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo in Sweden - meaning he won’t be available to return to the Toronto, Canada set of Dream House until December (10) at the earliest.
Dream House, directed by Jim Sheridan, tells the tale of a publisher who moves his family to a New England estate, only to discover the previous inhabitants were murdered.

The beauty salon boss accused of scamming A-list clients including LIV TYLER and JENNIFER ANISTON out of thousands of dollars in a get-rich-quick credit card scheme is facing a reported 501 years in jail.
U.S. Secret Service agents arrested Maria Gabriela Perez on federal fraud charges in August (10) for allegedly stealing her clients’ credit card information and making fraudulent purchases on their behalf.
Perez, owner of the exclusive Beverly Hills Chez Gabriela Studio, is alleged to have tallied $280,000 (GBP186,670) in unauthorised charges to clients including Aniston, Tyler, Anne Hathaway and Melanie Griffith, among others.
She appeared in Los Angeles federal court on 19 August (10) and was placed under house arrest.
In a federal indictment obtained by TMZ.com, Perez’ alleged billing thefts date back to October 2005, with one single alleged transaction totalling $69,890 (GBP46,590).
Prosecutors say Perez also has previous convictions for shoplifting and writing bad cheques.

Teen singing sensation JUSTIN BIEBER has the smell of success - he’s set to debut his first unisex fragrance next month (Nov10).
The 16-year-old Baby singer has signed a deal with Etoile Nation Beauty to create wristbands and dog tags infused with a scent called My World - also the title of his debut album.
And Bieber says he’s been heavily involved in choosing the ingredients for the fragrance.
He tells Women’s Wear Daily, "They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today. One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good." Bieber’s fragrance is scheduled to hit shelves at U.S. discount retailer Wal-Mart on 26 November (10).
The deal comes two weeks after Bieber announced plans to launch a nail polish line.

One of late BEE GEES star MAURICE GIBB’s final interviews is to feature on a new DVD documentary about the singing siblings.
Gibb conducted the career-encompassing chat shortly before he died in 2003 and his comments will now be part of In Our Own Time - a film commemorating The Bee Gees’ 50th anniversary.
The film, billed as "a revealing look at the history of The Bee Gees", will be released on 16 November (10).
The project also features brand new interviews with Barry and Robin Gibb and rare live performances, TV and film clips.
In Our Own Time ends with reunited Bee Gees stars Barry and Robin singing new versions of their classic songs.
The film will also air on TV in America four days after its release.

A back injury forced the Irish rock star to undergo the procedure last summer, prompting U2 to postpone dates on its U.S. tour.
But now the band is back on the road - and preparing to release a new album as early as next year (11).
The Edge tells the New York Post, "Bono is back in form. His back injury unfortunately forced us to postpone dates on the U.S. tour, but we are performing again, and he is in great shape.
"We’re working on a new album that could be out early next year (11)."

The SCISSOR SISTERS have been forced to cancel a string of upcoming European concert dates due to "funding issues".
The band was set to perform nine shows in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Italy but the quintet has pulled the plug revealing "it has become impossible to make the tour work financially".
A statement on the band’s website released on Monday (25Oct10) reads: â��Weâ��re saddened to discover that we are unable to play our scheduled tour dates through Europe. Weâ��re genuinely sorry about this frustrating situation. Weâ��ll try to make it up to you and return to these beautiful cities soon.â�� Refunds will be available for the cancelled gigs. The band’s December (10) U.K. arena tour is still scheduled to take place.

COUGAR TOWN star DAVID ROGERS has proposed to his longtime actress girlfriend SALLY PRESSMAN, his spokesperson has confirmed.
Rogers popped the question to the Army Wives star on 19 October (10).
The couple, which met in an acting class, has been together for nearly five years and is planning to make the relationship official with a August or September, 2011 wedding, reports People.com.
Pressman’s spokesperson confirms: "David got down on one knee. After an immediate ‘yes’, they embraced in a loving… hug." This will be the first marriage for both.
