New mum CELINE DION is refusing to embark on a drastic diet to lose her pregnancy weight, insisting she’s happy to wear larger-sized clothes until she regains her figure.
The singer gained 40 pounds (18 kilograms) while she was pregnant with twin boys, who she welcomed into the world on Saturday (23Oct10).
But the My Heart Will Go On hitmaker has no plans to try any quick fixes to shed the weight.
She tells French magazine Gala, "I don’t care about my figure. I never have and I’m not worried. In any case, I’m not going on any diet because I want to breastfeed… Besides I have a really good stylist and if it’s a question of going up a dress size or two - well, so be it."

The man who is suing EVA LONGORIA PARKER over a car crash has offered to drop the lawsuit - if the actress takes the blame for the accident and apologises.
Roman Gasparyan filed a negligence suit against the Desperate Housewives star on Tuesday (26Oct10), accusing her of causing him injury by swerving her car into his on Los Angeles’ famous Hollywood Boulevard last week (20Oct10).
Gasparyan has now announced he is willing to drop the matter, but only if she accepts responsibility for the collision.
Speaking to TMZ.com on Wednesday (27Oct10), his attorney says, "Mr. Gasparyan is not here for the money. He’s here for justice and Mr. Gasparyan puts this proposal to Ms. Longoria that if she admits to this accident, that she’s at fault, and that she apologises publicly to Mr. Gasparyan for causing him an injury and damages, we will dismiss this lawsuit.
"We want everyone to know that Mr. Gasparyan wants justice and the truth to come out of this matter. We will give Ms. Longoria until tomorrow to respond to our offer." A spokesperson for Longoria Parker has previously denied Gasparyan’s allegations that the actress is to blame for the crash.

DAVID ARQUETTE has defended his decision to speak candidly about the break down of his relationship with COURTENEY COX, insisting he went public to help others also suffering marital troubles.
The couple announced plans for a "trial separation" earlier this month (Oct10) after 11 years of marriage and the Scream actor subsequently called Howard Stern’s Sirius Satellite Radio show to discuss the break-up.
Arquette came under fire for talking about their sex life, but he defied the criticism and returned to the airwaves on Stern’s show on Wednesday (27Oct10).
And the actor insists he wants to tell the truth to help other couples working out their issues.
He tells the Associated Press, "A lot of people are going through stuff like that, and it just helps to kind of hear a celebrity that’s experiencing the same kind of things… I know I probably offend some people. I have been talking a little too much so I’m trying not to talk as much."

TOM CRUISE has been offered a supporting role in the movie adaptation of hit stage musical ROCK OF AGES.
Bosses at New Line Cinema are in negotiations with the Top Gun star about a bartender part in the much-anticipated film, which will reportedly star Taylor Swift.
If he accepts the role, Cruise will get the chance to belt out a medley of 1980s rock anthems.
Production on Rock of Ages is expected to kick off in January 2011, according to Access Hollywood.

British singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS once installed video cameras in his bedroom - then forgot he left them rolling.
The Take That star decided to have the cameras fitted so he could show off his antics on the internet, but he only remembered the gadgets when he spotted a recording light a week later.
He tells Britain’s Radio 1, "I had this idea once to put cameras in my bedroom. You know those ideas that you instantly regret and forget about. ‘What would be a great is if I put cameras in my bedroom and I did a web-show from my bed!’ "I put them in and forgot they were there. It was seven days in and I saw this yellow light in the corner and I was like ‘This is feeding somewhere, somewhere’s picking this up.’ Very embarrassing."

Former U.K. pop star CAROLYN OWLETT has warned of the dangers of social-networking sites after her identity was stolen to create a fake Facebook.com account.
The singer, a former member of girl group The 411, was horrified when she discovered a woman in Belgium had used her pictures and private details to set up a Facebook profile and flirt with unsuspecting males.
And Owlett was left fearing for her life when one of the men snared by the impostor flew to London to pay her a surprise visit, after a 17-month virtual affair with the fraudster.
She tells Britain’s The Sun, "I was terrified. This man was shouting my name and personal information about me across Oxford Circus (train) station but I had no idea who he was. He said he’d come from Belgium to be with me. I was so scared." The 26 year old eventually contacted the Belgian woman behind the plot, Kristella Erbicella, and pleaded with her to shut down the page.
And now she admits she is much more cautious about her internet activities.
She says: "This woman has harassed my friends and used photos of my son. The experience has shown me that nothing you post on the net ever goes away. People should be careful when posting pictures of their kids and their lives. I found out the hard way that you never know who is watching."

GIRLS ALOUD star NADINE COYLE is planning multiple wedding ceremonies so she can pick out a different dress for each set of nuptials.
The Northern Irish singer is engaged to wed American football star Jason Bell after he proposed last month (Sep10).
And the pop star admits she doesn’t want just one special day - she wants to exchange vows all around the world so all their friends and family can celebrate with them.
Coyle tells Britain’s Daily Express, "We haven’t set a date or even a year. I can’t see it being a traditional do. I think we’ll do something different and a bit wild. That goes for the dress too.
"I want to have lots of weddings in different places so everyone can come. And it means I can wear a different dress for each one."

A representative for ASHLEE SIMPSON has moved swiftly to dismiss reports the singer’s marriage to PETE WENTZ is in trouble, insisting the couple is still "in love".
Simpson, who married the Fall Out Boy rocker in 2008, was said to have been jealous of her husband’s relationship with his bandmate Bebe Rexha, who fronts his new act, Black Cards.
But a spokesperson has branded the story "completely inaccurate", telling GossipCop.com, "Ashlee is happy writing songs and she is incredibly supportive of Pete, as he is of her. They’re in love and remain committed to one another and their son."

JAMES BOND’s famous Aston Martin sportscar has sold for $4.1 million (£2.7 million) at a London auction.
The silver motor was first driven by Sean Connery in Goldfinger and boasts an ejector seat, machine guns and other spy gadgets. It also featured in Thunderball.
The car was auctioned by RM Auctions Automobiles of London and is the only surviving Aston Martin used in the early 007 adventures.
A second Bond-modified Aston Martin was reported stolen in 1997 and has never been recovered.

JAMES FRANCO wasn’t director DANNY BOYLE’s first choice to play an adventurer in 127 HOURS - he wrote the actor off as a "stoned city guy" after his audition.
In the new thriller, Franco plays real-life survival hero Aron Ralston, who was forced to amputate his own arm after he became trapped under a boulder during a hike in Utah in 2003.
But Boyle insists the Milk star didn’t make the best first impression - he was convinced the actor was high on drugs when they met.
He tells EOnline.com, "We saw a number of guys and he wasn’t the obvious choice because he’s not a look-a-like and he’s an urbanite really. He’s a city guy like me. He’s not a wilderness guy. I wasn’t sure at first. We met him and he was so relaxed - he looked stoned to me." And Franco is convinced he only won the role because of the memorisation skills he picked up during his stint on American soap opera General Hospital.
He recalls, "I did have to read for it. (Boyle) had me fly out to L.A. He didn’t give me any material to prepare and when I got there he gave me a page-long speech. He asked if I could memorise and do it right away, which normally would have been difficult but I had just been working on a soap opera, General Hospital. I had to memorise like literally 70 pages a day so that little speech was no problem. I don’t think he knew at the time that General Hospital helped me get the role."

JANE FONDA was left floored when she discovered her late mother had been sexually abused as a child while reviewing her life at 59.
The movie icon became a detective as she attempted to piece together the ‘puzzle’ of her life as she approached her 60th year - and one piece of information she found in her mother Frances Seymour Brokaw’s health records helped her to understand why the socialite was the way she was - and why she took her own life when the actress was 12.
In a candid TV interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired in America on Wednesday (27Oct10), Fonda explains, "(I was) interviewing people… (but) both my parents were dead - that’s why it’s good to do it early enough. Always interview your parents separately, so the scenario that they’re used to telling isn’t gonna be the same. And be sure to ask about abuse - one in three women have been sexually abused as children and no one ever talks about it.
"It affects everything about your life… because the shadow of guilt is sprinkled over the next generation, so, to understand yourself, you have to really bring it out and oftentimes that can be very healing for your mother or father to talk about it.
"My mother was dead; I found out from her medical records that she had been sexually abused and the minute I heard that, it was like, ‘Ah, that explains so much - the promiscuity, the plastic surgery, the hating her body, all of that.’ I wanted to mother her and forgive her.
"It changed my life… I knew it (her mother’s suicide) had nothing to do with me… We have this idea that it’s all our fault and my mother killed herself when I was 12. Suddenly I realised these were her issues, bless her heart."

CELINE DION dreamed of having a little girl after learning she was pregnant with twins - but insists she was "truly happy" to add two more boys to her family.
The singer fell pregnant after undergoing months of in-vitro fertilisation treatments and admits she longed to give her nine-year-old son Rene-Charles a little sister.
But after she was told she was having two boys, Dion insists their health was all that mattered to her.
She tells French magazine Gala, "Honestly, if I had a choice, certainly I’d have liked to have a girl. But the day I learned that I was expecting two boys, I wasn’t disappointed. It was a day of tremendous joy. I’m truly happy.
"Everything went well and the babies are in good health. That’s all that counts." Dion and her husband Rene Angelil welcomed their baby boys on Saturday (23Oct10).

DENISE RICHARDS considered scrapping her New York media commitments in the wake of ex-husband CHARLIE SHEEN’s hotel bust-up and hospitalisation on Monday night (26Oct10), but her professionalism kept her going.
Sheen accompanied Richards and the couple’s daughters to New York and found himself in trouble with hotel staff at the Plaza and police after allegedly trashing his room following a bad reaction to medication he was taking.
Richards, who was staying in a suite across the hall from Sheen when the incident went down, was with the actor when he was hospitalised early on Tuesday morning (27Oct10), and admits she almost pulled out of press appearances to promote her new role in TV comedy Blue Mountain State.
She tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "I could’ve easily cancelled my shows and appearances but I’ve had this trip to New York booked for months promoting at all the talk shows. I’m thrilled that they wanted me on to promote this show.
"I’m professional and wanted to just move forward with that. This happened and it’s unfortunate but I have to keep going on." Sheen is now back home in Los Angeles following the unfortunate incident and he is expected back on the set of his hit TV sitcom Two & A Half Men on Monday (01Nov10).

Lawyers for MICHAEL JACKSON’s doctor have called for the testing of syringes and IV bags found at the King of Pop’s rented mansion on the day he died.
The defence attorneys raced to court in Los Angeles on Tuesday (26Oct10) stating evidence they had planned to use at Dr. Conrad Murray’s upcoming involuntary manslaughter trial had deteriorated and could no longer be used in the case.
The cardiologist’s attorneys claimed the liquid in one of the syringes had turned to salt, according to the Associated Press.
Judge Michael Pastor refused to allow a specialist to determine the quantities of substances in two syringes and the IV bag after consulting with prosecutors, who revealed they hadn’t been made aware of the request for evidence testing until immediately before the hearing.
Dr. Murray’s trial will begin in January (11).

DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM had a friendly squabble on U.S. TV while taping an appearance on ELLEN DEGENERES’ chat show - over tidiness.
Soccer stud David told the host he and his wife often fight over keeping things clean and tidy at home, admitting he often drives his wife crazy with his anal home habits.
He said, "I’m very tidy and she’s not." But Victoria, who was watching from the audience, refused to sit quietly as DeGeneres poked for more details.

The group behind RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE’s Christmas chart success in Britain last year (09) has launched a new campaign to keep the winner of reality TV talent contest THE X FACTOR off the top of the pop countdown this yule.
This time, the Facebook organisation is hoping to convince Brits to buy digital copies of The Trashmen’s 1963 hit Surfin’ Bird on 12 December (10) - and propel the novelty tune made famous by a recent episode of Family Guy to number one.
So far almost 460,000 fans have pledged to support the campaign - and that might be enough to secure the Christmas number one.
Last year, the campaign helped propel Rage Against the Machine’s Killing in the Name to the top of the Christmas chart ahead of clear favourite Joe McElderry’s rendition of Miley Cyrus hit The Climb.

Former BOND girl DENISE RICHARDS is a closet coffee expert - thanks to the time she has spent sampling the best beans and brews from around the globe at her parents’ cafe.
The actress used to hang out at Jitters in Illinois trying all kinds of coffees and it has led her to believe the best is Hawaiian.
She tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "I’m very spoiled with coffee. I’ve tried coffee from all over the world at my parent’s coffee shop, Jitters, that they used to own.
"They had beans from everywhere and I just have always loved Kona coffee… I actually get my Kona coffee shipped every month from Hawaii. That’s what I make at home with very elaborate espresso machines. Coffee is very good in my house." But Richards has no plans to follow her folks into the cafe business - she’d like to open a boutique just like pal Lisa Rinna’s Sherman Oaks, California store Belle Gray.
Even the store’s infamous double burglary earlier this month (Oct10) hasn’t put her off.
She adds, "It’s like the store is her (Rinna’s) big closet, so how fun would that be. I’m very good friends with Lisa and she’s got impeccable taste and it’s one big closet for her so I’m quite envious of it."
