TV TWINS RECEIVE APOLOGY FROM AIRPORT BOSSES
A representative for U.K. reality TV stars JOHN and EDWARD GRIMES has lodged a formal complaint after the duo was allegedly mocked by staff at London’s Heathrow airport.
The TV twins, who competed on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor talent show last year (09), claim they have been bullied by security workers while regularly flying out of the airport three times a week.
Their former tour manager Liam McKenna complained on behalf of the brothers after one staffer allegedly tried to make Edward remove his trousers and a leg brace protecting his broken ankle last week (ends24Oct10).
A spokesperson for the British Airports Authority has apologised to the singing siblings, also known as Jedward, for the "rude and unprofessional" employees, adding: "We have spoken to the staff members concerned."
