BEYONCE SHOWS OFF TEMPORARY TATTOO LINE IN NEW FASHION ADS
BEYONCE has added an edgy new talent to her resume - she’s now a temporar y tattoo designer.
The pop superstar doesn’t have any skin art herself, but she and her mu m Tina Knowles have created a series of new motorbike gang-inspired ink t o accompany their new House of Dereon fall/winter 2010 collection.
And Beyonce models the eye-catching tattoos in the new ads.
Tina Knowles tells WWD.com, "We decided to invite Temptu to help us cre ate custom body art for (our) model… The resulting images were so stron g that we realised consumers might want to re-create the tattoos themselv es." The waterproof tattoos will be offered in Dereon=E2=80=99s signature fl eur icon and in chains, spider designs, rocker bolts and jewel baubles. A n online-only deluxe kit will feature a signed photo of Beyonce. (KL/WNWC
