CURTIS TURNED DOWN DANCING CHALLENGE=20
JAMIE LEE CURTIS is considering a return to the dancefloor after watching JENNIFER GREY strut her stuff on U.S. TV show DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The actress, who played a keep-fit aerobics instructor in 1985’s Plenty , was in the audience for the season premiere on Monday (20Sep10), cheeri ng on Dirty Dancing star Grey.
And she enjoyed the experience so much, she plans to show up weekly.
Curtis tells news show Access Hollywood she declined an invitation to j oin Grey on the celebrity dancefloor this series, but seriously considere d the challenge.
She says, "(I said) I won’t be able to do it because my family commitme nts are such that I wouldn=E2=80=99t have the time for it… but it defin itely made me go, ‘Hmmm.’ "It was fun to think about it." Grey, who danced to Dirty Dancing tune These Arms of Mine on Monday nig ht, is among the favourites to win the TV contest.
