MARTIN SCORSESE’s gritty new TV series BOARDWALK EMPIRE is a break-out hi t in America - the period piece has been picked up for a second season af ter just one episode.
The crime drama, starring Steve Buscemi, debuted in America on Sunday ( 19Sep10) to rave reviews and big ratings, and bosses at cable channel HBO are already hooked on the show.
