WINSTONE: ‘FAME ENDED ALLEN ROMANCE’
British actress JAIME WINSTONE ended her relationship with LILY ALLEN’s b rother ALFIE because she couldn’t cope as one-half of a famous couple.
The 25 year old began dating the Atonement star in 2007 and last year ( 09) it was rumoured they were engaged.
But the pair split earlier this year (10) - and Winstone admits they ca lled it quits because of the pressures of fame.
She says, "Our engagement was announced three times but we were never e ngaged. It’s not healthy to have all that attention. I couldn’t deal with being an ‘It’ couple."
