In a video message, she says, "The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is something I really feel will change the world. It goes to every village a nd every town and educates children. I hope people will support this caus e as it will mean so much to your children and grandchildren and the worl d.
"We have to do this. I really wish that people will help us do that (ta ke the bus global). Now they know what is going on in the United States, we should share it with the world."

Veteran singers WILLIE NELSON and KRIS KRISTOFFERSON were serenaded by DO LLY PARTON and LYLE LOVETT as they were each handed a top award at a coun try music gala on Sunday (29Aug10).
The stars - along with Fred Foster, the founder of Monument Records - w ere honoured with the 2010 Leadership Music Dale Franklin Awards at a bas h in Nashville to mark their contribution to the Tennessee music scene.
Host Vince Gill paid tribute to Nelson before he picked up his trophy, telling the audience, "He’s done more for this country as a man than just about anybody. He’s a great mentor and a great man to look up to. He is truly what I think America is about at its best." After musical numbers from Parton and Lovett, as well as others includi ng Lee Ann Womack and Randy Travis, Nelson took to the stage and delivere d a moving speech.
He said, "I want to thank all of my friends, and all the people in this town, that made it possible (for me) to be standing here, getting all th ese nice things said about me. I almost gave myself a standing ovation. I held back, though." It was then Kristofferson’s turn to pick up his award and he admitted i t was an overwhelming experience.
The singer explained, "To be up here, getting an award along with Fred Foster and Willie Nelson, is something that I’ve got to feel like I was d reaming. I forgot everything I wanted to say before I got up here, and I can’t remember anymore. My memory’s gone bad, but I’m so honoured to be u p here with Fred Foster and Willie Nelson. MOLLY RINGWALD has become the latest Hollywood star to take up running to stay fit.
The Breakfast Club star, 42, admits she never imagined she’d become one of the celebrities lacing up running shoes - and she’s surprised she has the stamina for it.
She tells Bust magazine, "I took up running this past year. I’ve never been a runner in my entire life. I didn’t even think that I could run, an d I discovered at age 41 that I actually can run.

Actor DANIEL RADCLIFFE turned to HARRY POTTER co-star ALAN RICKMAN’s sing ing coach to hit the high notes onstage.
The 21 year old had to sing the Milky Bar Kid TV theme during his stint in Equus in 2008 and 2009 - and quickly realised his voice wasn’t up for the challenge.
He tells Out magazine, "For some reason, I kept inventing a new tune ev ery night, so they sent me off to this guy, Mark Meylan…, to sing." And he admits the coach was a tough teacher: "He sort of abuses you as you get it right."

KELLAN LUTZ and ANNALYNNE MCCORD headed to New Orleans, Louisiana over th e weekend (27-29Aug10) to help build houses on the five-year anniversary of the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
The celebrity couple was in the city to support the St. Bernard Project , which provides relief for survivors of the 2005 disaster.

Actor TAYLOR LAUTNER has been challenged to a charity push-up contest to settle his legal battle with a trailer company.
The Twilight star filed suit against McMahon’s RV earlier this month (A ug10) claiming the firm failed to deliver a vehicle for use on the set of his new movie Abduction on time.
He is suing for breach of contract and fraud and is seeking unspecified damages for "emotional distress" and "annoyance".
Company owner Brent McMahon has now spoken out about the lawsuit - and is calling on the teenager to settle the legal dispute with a push-up con test.
McMahon has vowed to hand over $40,000 (=C2=A326,000) to Lautner if the actor wins the challenge - but if the car dealer is the champion he’s pl edged to hand the cash over to charity.
During a press conference on Monday (30Aug10), McMahon told reporters, "We’re taking a negative and making it into a positive to benefit the sic k children at Children’s Hospital of Orange County."

Singer JULIO IGLESIAS, JR. and pin-up VIDA GUERRA have signed up to star in the first ever TV series to shoot in both English and Spanish.
Iglesias, the son of Spanish crooner Julio Iglesias, will lead the cast of Hacienda Heights, a weekly, one-hour, dual-language drama, which will debut in 2011.
The series will centre on the trials and tribulations of the families w ho live, work and love in the fast growing city of Hacienda Heights.
In addition to Iglesias and Guerra, the cast includes Braulio Castillo, Jr., Alexa Kuve and Eva Tamargo.
Hacienda Heights will be filmed on location in and around the San Franc isco area.

BJORK and Italian composer ENNIO MORRICONE accepted the 2010 Polar Music Prize in Sweden on Monday (30Aug10).
King Carl XVI Gustaf honoured the pair at a lavish ceremony.
Both musicians were handed $136,000 (=C2=A390,600).
The Polar Music Prize, which was founded by ABBA’s former manager Stig Anderson in 1989, is shared annually by a pop artist and a classical musi cian.

Troubled former WARRANT star JANI LANE has been given a career boost foll owing his recent DUI shame - he’ll replace JACK RUSSELL for the remainder of GREAT WHITE’s 25th anniversary tour dates.
Russell has been forced to sit out the tour after suffering a perforate d bowel and is currently recovering after major surgery.
XYZ star Terry Ilous stepped in to replace the singer for Great White’s August (10) dates, but now Lane will rock with the band until the end of the year (10).
In a post on his website, Lane writes, "I consider it an honor and a pr ivilege!" Lane was sentenced to serve 120 days behind bars after pleading no cont est to DUI following a May (10) arrest for crashing into a parked car whi le driving in Woodland Hills, California.
It is not known how his tour plans with Great White will affect his pri son stint.

MELANIE BROWN’s representative has dismissed reports the former SPICE GIR LS star’s marriage is in crisis.
The singer’s husband Stephen Belafonte is alleged to have personally ph oned a journalist at Britain’s Sunday Mirror last week (beg23Aug10) to re veal the couple’s union is over and that Brown plans to return to Britain without him.
The couple has remained tight-lipped about the speculation, but Brown a nd Belafonte put on a united front over dinner at a Japanese restaurant n ear their home in Los Angeles on Sunday (29Aug10).
And now Brown’s spokesperson has stepped in to set the record straight, telling GossipCop.com that Brown and Belafonte’s marriage is "all fine".

MICHAEL JACKSON’s brother RANDY paid an emotional visit to the King of Po p’s final resting place to wish the late singer a happy 52nd birthday on Sunday (29Aug10).
Jackson arrived at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California wi th flowers and met with fans gathered at the cemetery.
And he took time to address the ongoing battle to seek someone responsi ble for his brother’s June 2009 death.
The superstar’s physician Dr. Conrad Murray has pleaded not guilty to c harges of involuntary manslaughter. His trial was recently set for the be ginning of 2011.
Speaking outside Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Randy Jackson told X17Onlin e.com, "I’m not real crazy about some of the things I read… some of the things he (Murray) says. I have good faith in our courts and judicial sy stem, so I think justice will be served.
"I’m going to leave it in God’s hands."

Rocker AXL ROSE has spoken out about his disappointing festival weekend i n Britain, insisting his experience of headlining the Reading and Leeds c oncerts was "no fun".
The Guns N’ Roses frontman staged an online war of words with festivals boss Melvin Benn after the band’s sets were cut short because they faile d to observe a curfew.
In a post on Twitlonger.com, Rose writes, "Don’t know what it is with u s or these last two shows. Takes the fun out it for everyone - fans, band and crew alike, but whatever.
"So you know, we allegedly had a deal in place pre-show with the city a t least at Leeds to do a bit longer performance that was either miscommun ication, someone wasn’t informed, changed their mind, didn’t care or was a con.
"Regardless, the nonsense just seems so unnecessary but without real ma nagement or industry presence is unfortunately beyond our control. We hop e the fans feel they got at least what they could from us under the circu mstances as for us all things considered that’s the main thing. The rest is filler.
"Peace, thanks for understanding and what we did manage to get done out there was a blast! The crowds and fans were amazing!! And in our opinion (not that apparently it means much) you deserved better!! Thanks again!! " Organisers of the festivals have maintained Guns N’ Roses started its R eading festival performance more than an hour later than scheduled; the b and was given an extra 30 minutes to play.
A statement from the festival bosses reads, "Guns N’ Roses wanted to ex tend the new agreed curfew but were prevented from doing so in order to c omply with the entertainment licence issued by Reading Council." But the band has accused the festival promoters of having "a personal g rudge" with them, stemming from eight years ago when the band last played the Leeds festival.
In a tweet on Monday (30Aug10), guitarist Richard Fortus wrote, "I don’ t think there is another band out right now that has the balls to do what we did last night. Axl insists on doing things his way and not playing b y the f**king rules. You can love him or hate him for it, but the fact of the matter is… he’s the real f**king deal… Deal with it or not, but it won’t ever change."

Rapper T.I.’s new movie TAKERS has been declared the box office winner in the U.S. after a too-close-to-call opening weekend cinema fight with hor ror film THE LAST EXORCISM.
Early estimates on Sunday (29Aug10) suggested The Last Exorcism was the top film, but the film has since flip-flopped with heist movie Takers.
Only $100,000 (=C2=A366,600) separated the two films.

Tragic royal PRINCESS DIANA has come to the conclusion her death in 1997 was the result of a "well-planned accident", according to top Hollywood p sychic KENNY KINGSTON.

But it was the revelations about her death that fascinated Kingston: "D iana has come to the conclusion that the tragedy in the Alma Tunnel was n o mistake. She said, ‘It may have been an accident, but it was a well-pla nned one.’ This is contrary to what Diana’s spirit had conveyed to me dur ing a previous seance many years ago. It has taken her this period of tim e, she says, to gain her strength and to be able to see the truth." And Kingston reveals it was his eerie prediction in a British newspaper that put her on alert during her final weeks.
The psychic adds, "Diana told me that when she told her butler, Paul Bu rrell, that she feared for her safety and sensed a danger period around a car, she was referring to my aura reading, which I revealed in the Daily Star newspaper. The aura reading had warned her of a danger period from July to November around fast-moving cars, and Diana took it to heart." And the seance ended on a chilling note - Diana reported that a promine nt member of the Royal Family will die before the end of 2011.
Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris, France on 31 August, 1997.
