Actor JUSTIN LONG has come clean about his sideline job - he has been jok ing for years about his career as a sushi photographer.
The Live Free or Die Hard star has been spicing up dull interviews with stories about his passion for shooting dead fish for restaurant menus fo r years - and now he reveals it was all a big joke to him.
Long still uses the line when people don’t recognise him at parties and ask what he does for a living.
He says, "I used to tell people I was a sushi photographer… I got a k ick out of it.
"I would go one about how it’s a very unique niche: ‘It’s a difficult n iche to break into but once you’re in there, there’s so few people who do it.
"I would say, ‘Have you been to (sushi restaurant) Katsuya…? I did th eir menus. Have you had the oonagi at Sushi Roku…? Well, I did that.’"

Moviemaker FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA reteamed with Oscar-winning production de signer DEAN TAVOULARIS to recreate Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark at his wine estate in Alexander Valley, California.
The two men worked together on The Godfather and the director admits Ta voularis was the first person who came to mind when he decided to revamp his vineyard and turn it into a "wine wonderland".
Coppola has now opened the reimagined winery to the public and insists it’s a place to behold.
He says, "It’s a place to celebrate the love of life."

JESSICA ALBA and maverick filmmaker ROBERT RODRIGUEZ are to team up for a third time for the fourth SPY KIDS movie.
Alba will play a mum who comes out of spy retirement to train her kids in the art of espionage in Spy Kids 4: All The Time in the World.
The film will also feature Spy Kids regulars Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino.

JASON STATHAM was grateful for the chance to reteam with JET LI in THE EX PENDABLES - so the action duo could redeem themselves for their past movi e flops.
The British movie hunk previously starred alongside Li in the movies Th e One and War, which were widely panned by critics.
Statham was disappointed in their previous collaborations but jumped at the chance to work with Li again in Sylvester Stallone’s new blockbuster - so the pair could finally be proud of their big-screen partnership.
He tells Britain’s OK! magazine, "All the movies I’ve done with Jet, ap art from this one, have been no good. It’s difficult because the first mo vie I did with Jet wasn’t what it was supposed to be, but it gave me the opportunity to work with Corey Yuen, which was instrumental in me getting the Transporter films.
"It’s coincidental that we were doing this film together - not that we tried to beat Sly up, hold him down and say we want to do another film to gether, so make sure we’re both in it! HARRY POTTER star RUPERT GRINT’s 22nd birthday on Tuesday (24Aug10) has b een tinged with sadness - his beloved pet pig has died.
Grint revealed that one of his teacup piglets, named Oscar, recently pa ssed away at a fan meet-and-greet in London on Monday (23Aug10).
The actor has quite the menagerie - he has another piglet and two donke ys, named Shakespeare and Pandora.

Acclaimed moviemaker WERNER HERZOG is tiring of stories suggesting he sav ed JOAQUIN PHOENIX’s life following a 2006 car crash - the German directo r merely stopped the actor from setting himself alight.
Herzog was asked to recall his heroics after a speeding Phoenix smashed his car outside the filmmaker’s Hollywood home while promoting his new m ovie My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done and wanted to make it clear he did n’t save the Walk The Line star’s life.
He revealed, "I saw only one person, upside down. He had deployed the a irbags and I recognised it was Joaquin Phoenix and it was clear I couldn’ t get him out through the window and, in the moment I diverted my attenti on away from him, he had picked up a cigarette and he tried to light the cigarette.
"He was not really aware that gasoline was dribbling throughout the car , so I confiscated the cigarette lighter and I crushed the rear window an d got him out.
"He wanted to thank me but I didn’t want to make a big fuss. I didn’t s ave anyone’s life - Joaquin got away without injuries. I just stopped him from lighting the cigarette."

LAURENCE FISHBURNE is paying for his troubled daughter’s legal fight in a n assault case, despite allegedly cutting ties with her following her mov e into the porn industry, according to a U.S. report.
Montana Fishburne recently moved out of the actor’s Los Angeles home af ter taking an "embarrassing" step into the adult movie market and appeari ng in a sex tape.
The 19 year old reportedly contacted The Matrix star last week (16Aug10 ), when Laurence reportedly told her he will refuse to speak to her until she turns her "life around".
But now it has been revealed the actor actively hired Montana’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and is funding her legal representation while she fi ghts an ongoing assault case, reports TMZ.com.
The teenager has been charged with battery following an incident in Feb ruary (10), when she allegedly attacked her boyfriend’s ex-lover. Montana has pleaded not guilty.

Moviemaker JIM JARMUSCH is planning a new movie about IGGY POP’s punk ico ns THE STOOGES.
The reformed group approached Jarmusch to capture the essence of the ba nd in a documentary and the director is onboard.

Rapper LIL BOOSIE is to release a new album from behind bars.
The jailed hip-hop star, real name Torrance Hatch, may face the death p enalty after being indicted on first-degree murder charges in June (10).
The rap star was accused of being involved in the shooting of 35-year-o ld Terry Boyd in October (09) and has maintained his innocence.
He is currently preparing his defence.
While behind bars he will release Incarcerated, the follow-up to Super Bad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz, which was a hit last year (09).

Former THE CURE drummer LOL TOLHURST has reached out to frontman ROBERT S MITH in a bid to rejoin the band, more than 20 years after he was fired Tolhurst left the punk icons in the late 1980s because of an alleged dr inking problem, but he’s now keen to reunite with his former bandmates in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Cure’s seminal 1981 album Faith next year (11).
Speaking to Los Angeles radio station KXLU, the drummer revealed he had pitched the idea to Smith of touring the album around the world in 2011.
A Cure fansite later reported "the ball is now in Robert’s court".
Tolhurst - who went onto perform with band Levinhurst - sued Smith in 1 991 over a royalties dispute, but they reconciled in the early 2000s and have been in contact since.
Speaking in 2003, the drummer said, "I think we both have the idea that there’s lots of things that we can still do (together)… and I’m sure t hat it will happen. It’s not a question of ‘if’, it’s more a question of ‘when.’"

BONO took a break from U2’s world tour duties on Tuesday (24Aug10) to tak e tea with Russian leader DMITRY MEDVEDEV.
The rocker was invited to join the President at his holiday estate near the Black Sea resort of Sochi.
During a conversation with reporters present, Medvedev complimented Bon o on writing music that "unites generations" and he also had words of pra ise for his visitor’s activism.

GEORGE DAVID WEISS, the man behind classic tunes WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD a nd CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE has died at his home in New Jersey. He was 89.
The songwriter also penned The Lion Sleeps Tonight for The Tokens with Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore.
His other credits include Confess, which was recorded by Pattie Page, P erry Como’s Surrender and Sammy Davis, Jr.’s 1946 hit Mr. Wonderful.
Weiss was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984.
A former president of the Songwriters Guild of America, Weiss was born in Manhattan in 1921 and fought his family over his passion for music - h is mother wanted her son to become a lawyer.
He graduated from the Julliard School in New York with a degree in musi c and went on to serve as a military bandleader in World War II before be coming a full-time songwriter.

The actors have been recruited for a New York reading of A Room Of My O wn, which producers are hoping to take to the Broadway stage.

Real-estate tycoon-turned reality TV star DONALD TRUMP has spoken out aga inst controversial plans to open a mosque close to the site of the 9/11 t errorist atrocities in New York, insisting it’s "insensitive" and "wrong" to build the centre so close to the 2001 tragedy.
Muslim activist Feisal Abdul Rauf is behind plans to build a $100 milli on (GBP67 million) mosque just a few blocks from the site of the World Tr ade Center, which have sparked a heated debate about the status of religi ous freedom and tolerance in the U.S.
Furious citizens have banded together to urge city officials to insist the mosque is moved away from the site of the tragedy, which saw thousand s of civilians perish at the hands of suicidal Muslim extremists, and now Trump has waded in to the debate, insisting the mosque should be moved.
Trump, who owns a number of properties in New York City, tells U.S. TV programme Extra, "It’s very insensitive, and it shouldn’t be there. I’m a big believer in freedom of religion, but I think the mosque being in tha t location is absolutely wrong."

An orthodox Jewish couple who opened their Queens, New York home for the cast and crew of DREW BARRYMORE’s new movie GOING THE DISTANCE demanded p roducers replace their grill and kitchen utensils after learning an incon siderate crewmember had used the kitchen to cook a hamburger.
Barrymore and real-life on/off boyfriend Justin Long filmed a sex scene in the apartment, which doubled as the home of the actress’ sister in th e movie, played by Christina Applegate - and made out naked on the dining room table.
The owners had no problems with the sex scene, but were horrified when they realised someone had cooked a burger in the house.
Long explains, "They were incredibly sweet people… and we did one sce ne where we had to eat around this dinner table and we were eating these hamburgers and the prop guy was making the burgers on the grill that the orthodox couple owned and they found out and they got very upset about it ..
"They took issue with it because it was not kosher food and it had touc hed their grill, so they wanted the studio to replace the grill, which th ey did, and they wanted to replace any utensil that had touched the grill .. That’s how serious these people were.
"Somebody, while we were shooting the sex-on-their-dining-room-table sc ene, raised the point, ‘Well, if they had a problem with that meat…’ We did take after take." And Long reveals the "c**k sock" he was given to cover up his manhood w as so uncomfortable he chose not to use it.
He adds, "My boys are just all over the place… and Christina Applegat e said, ‘I’m pretty sure Justin’s b**ls have been blessed by a Rabbi.’" (

The wife of grieving comedian MARTIN SHORT died of natural causes, accord ing to findings by Los Angeles Coroners officials.
Retired actress Nancy Dolman died on Saturday (21Aug10) at the couple’s home in Pacific Palisades, California. The 58 year old had been battling cancer, according to a 2007 tabloid report, but a publicist for the acto r declined to comment on the cause of death.
L.A. County Coroner Chief Craig Harvey confirms officials have ended th eir investigation after determining Dolman died of natural causes.
In a statement released on Tuesday (24Aug10), he says: "(Nancy Dolman) was under the care of a private physician for a natural disease. There wi ll be no coroner involvement."

HARRY POTTER star RUPERT GRINT has confirmed the London studio where the film magic was created is to be turned into a Potter tourist attraction.
Grint told fans at a meet-and-greet event in London on Monday (23Aug10) that Leavesden Studio will be turned into a themepark, where devotees of the Potter movies will be able to tour the sets.
And he reveals the eagle-eyed will be able to make out cast scribblings on the walls.
He says, "We used to write on the walls and they’re actually re-creatin g and turning the studio in an attraction, actually recreating all the ro oms so you can go in them." But one thing missing from the attraction will be the original ‘4′ that hung on door of Harry Potter’s home - Grint reveals he swiped that.

The man who was arrested for allegedly trying to break into PARIS HILTON’ s Los Angeles home while carrying two large knives has been booked on one count of felony burglary.
Hilton took to Twitter.com to reveal her terror after she was woken up on Tuesday morning (24Aug10) by a strange noise and discovered a man tryi ng to gain entry to her house.
Just after cops arrested a man in her garden, Hilton tweeted, "So scary , just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes (sic). Cops are here arresting him." Now police officials have revealed Nathan Lee Parada, 31, is in custody and is being held on $50,000 (=C2=A333,333) bail.
