Pregnant actress CHRISTINA APPLEGATE has issued a stern warning to unsusp ecting strangers - she could unleash her temper at any moment, because he r hormones are so out of control.
The Anchorman star revealed last month (Jul10) she is expecting a baby with her fiance, Dutch musician Martyn Lenoble, and recently confessed he r hormones are causing terrible mood swings and morning sickness.
And the 38 year old is feeling major guilt, after unleashing on a secur ity guard in Los Angeles who corrected her pal for parking illegally.
She explains, "I’ve always been really kind and… a people pleaser. Th e other day, my girlfriend took me to the bank, we pulled up really close to the ATM. It was really hot. I didn’t want to have to walk. I mean, I’ m pregnant for crying out loud! I don’t need to walk." Applegate admits she didn’t appreciate being asked to move, recalling: "I was just like, Shhhhh! Shhhhh! It is too hot out to be a d**chebag, OK ?" But she insists she’s not bragging about her bad behaviour, and is tryi ng to be nicer. She adds, "What’s wrong with me? I was like, ‘Who am I ri ght now? That’s a horrible thing to say to somebody!’"

Actress KIRSTIE ALLEY has responded to reports she’ll be among the contes tants competing for U.S. TV’s big dancing prize this season, insisting sh e’s "too chicken" to sign up for DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The former Cheers star has been among the names suggested for the talen t show, alongside politician’s daughter Bristol Palin, David Hasselhoff a nd Audrina Patridge - but she’s adamant she won’t be among the names ment ioned when the cast is officially revealed on Monday (30Aug10).
In a Twitter.com post, she writes, "Just a rumor. Imagine that. NOT doi ng DWTS this season… Way too chicken!! Maybe next season if Im invited again!!!" The 11th season of the hit show will premiere in America on 20 Septembe r (10).

TWIN PEAKS star KYLE MACLACHLAN is grateful he befriended DENNIS HOPPER o n the golf course before he died earlier this year (10) - because the mov ie icon was too intense to get close to on the movie set.
MacLachlan worked with Hopper on what was only his second film, Blue Ve lvet, and never really got the chance to get close to the Easy Rider star ..
Years later, the pair became golfing buddies and the Canadian star will always cherish the more laidback moments he got to spend with Hopper.
He tells WENN, "I have great memories of Dennis, both on film and also we played a lot of golf together. He found golf and it became his healthi er addiction after the turbulence of his early days, although some people might argue with that.
"Blue Velvet was my second film, so I was pretty green, so just watchin g Dennis work and seeing the level and intensity of emotion that he broug ht to the role and the commitment that he brought to that role was an edu cation for me. I always wanted to work with him as a director but I alway s thought that I was maybe not as intense as he needed his actors to be.
"Then we had a second revisit of friendship on the golf course and we p layed golf together and he would smoke cigars on the course. He wasn’t ve ry good at it (golf) but he so enjoyed the game. There’s something nice a bout being on the golf course with someone who’s a friend; it’s probably a guy thing but it’s just a nice give and take that goes on." (KL/RXM&WN/

LINDSAY LOHAN has posted her first tweet since her release from jail and court-imposed rehab - and it’s a dig at the paparazzi.
The actress took offence to photographers covering her every move as sh e applied for a new driving licence and then picked up a rented car - and wanted her Twitter.com followers to know just how she felt.
She writes, "Clearly.. Paparazzi shouldn’t be allowed to take pictures or video while someone’s driving or at a stop light. 4every1’s sake #traf ficpolice." (sic) Lindsay has been silent online ever since she started her jail sentence for violating her parole on a 2007 DUI arrest.
She was released from UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday (24 Aug10).

LEONARDO DiCAPRIO’s alleged broken beer bottle attacker is to stand trial ..
Aretha Wilson, 40, stands accused of attacking the movie star outside a 2005 party, leaving him with a bruised and bloodied face.
DiCaprio also reportedly needed medical assistance and 17 stitches foll owing the encounter.
Wilson, a Canadian citizen, was recently extradited to the United State s to face charges and Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Edmund Will cox Clarke Jr. ruled there was sufficient evidence for Wilson to face a t rial for assault during a preliminary hearing on Thursday (26Aug10).
Wilson, who maintains DiCaprio started the altercation by reacting to r emarks she was making about the actor and his friends, has been told to s tay away from the star.
She will face one count of assault with a deadly weapon.

WEEZER drummer BRIAN BELL has let slip the real reason the band named its new album HURLEY and it’s nothing to do with a character from LOST - it’ s part of a brand sponsorship scheme.
The band led fans to believe the title was inspired by Jorge Garcia’s L ost character Hurley Reyes when they announced the name and revealed Garc ia’s face on the album cover.
But Bell insists the record was named after clothing company Hurley Int ernational, whose bosses funded the recording.
He tells YouTube, "(Hurley) was funding the record at the beginning of the process. We actually did some sort of advertisement… I don’t even k now how they’re tied in so much, although we got some clothes and we did a photo shoot and we were wearing these clothes, and I think we’re sellin g these clothes in malls." Bell explains Garcia was involved to give the release a "post-modern" t wist, adding, "I think it’s this whole, like, tying-in different medias a nd then using Hurley, the character from ‘Lost’, which I’ve never seen in my life, as our mascot for this record is somewhat postmodernist, maybe.
I hope people don’t look at it as too jokey, cos it certainly comes acro ss that way without reading into it a little deeper."

Rapper T.I. struggled to balance his post-prison responsibilities with hi s film commitments on the set of new movie TAKERS - because his home arre st ankle bracelet kept going off and ruining takes.
The Live Your Life hitmaker shot the film, in which he plays a recently incarcerated thief, following his release from prison on illegal weapons possession charges in December (09).
His criminal sentence included a curfew, which required T.I. to be at h ome by 1am, and he wasn’t allowed to hold any guns on set.
But it was his location-monitoring ankle bracelet that presented the bi ggest challenge - during one night shoot, it was set off, forcing a resho ot, according to the Los Angeles Times.
He insists, "(It was) just another day at the office." But the American Gangster star insists he’s no longer the liability on a film set he once was when he’d show up late and act like the movie’s st ar.
He tells the newspaper, "If I=E2=80=99m going to a concert and they say I gotta be there at 10, and I don=E2=80=99t show up until 12, everything all good because the show can=E2=80=99t go without me. Whereas, on a fil m, if you five minutes late, you late.
"I had just got from music. I had just got a seven, eight million-dolla r cheque, so I was pulling up in Rolls Royces, smoke coming out like Snoo p Dogg. I didn=E2=80=99t treat the circumstances as delicate as they were .." T.I. is currently in talks with movie moguls Brett Ratner and Brian Gra zer about upcoming film roles.

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS frontman SCOTT WEILAND is nursing a bruised ego after taking an embarrassing fall during a concert in Ohio on Wednesday (25Aug 10).
The rocker stumbled and fell off an elevated stage at Cincinnati’s Rive rbend Music Center while he was singing the band’s opening number, Cracke rman.
Security rushed to his aid spent almost a minute trying to pull him out of the frenzied crowd and back up onto the platform.
The rocker took the tumble in his stride, insisting on continuing with the show and waving off requests for medical assistance.
Unfortunately, the footage of the stage fall will live on - a fan caugh t the slip-up on camera and posted it online.

KELLY OSBOURNE has joined the style force - the British pop star-turned-r eality TV favourite is to co-host U.S. show FASHION POLICE with comedienn e JOAN RIVERS.
The Osbournes and Dancing With the Stars personality will offer up styl e comments following major red carpet events alongside Rivers and stylist George Kotsiopoulos on U.S. cable network E! Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter will make her debut on the show on Monday (30A ug10) to comment on the fashions at Sunday’s (29Aug10) Emmy Awards.
She’ll then appear weekly on the stylish show beginning 10 September (1 0).

BILLY BOB THORNTON has turned down the chance to reprise his FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS role for the TV spin-off’s upcoming season finale because his bus y schedule doesn’t allow it.
The movie star was approached by the film’s director Peter Berg and his fellow producers and asked to play Coach Gary Gaines again.
Executive producer Jason Katims tells Entertainment Weekly, "We wanted to pay homage to the movie, so we came up with an idea for a cameo, but B illy wasn’t available."

VING RHAMES and ELISABETH SHUE have shot a hilarious new time-travelling ad for their disaster movie PIRANHA 3D, in which the actor receives an un likely Oscar from his co-star for his role in the film.
Pulp Fiction star Rhames accepts the honour, holding his Academy Awards tuxedo in a dry-cleaners wrap and breaks off from his oddball speech to smooch with Shue in the FunnyOrDie.com spoof.
He also asks the Oscars audience to give up their jewellery and then ur ges them to watch Piranha 3D.
When Shue reminds him it’s 2011 and the film is no longer in cinemas, R hames boasts about being able to time travel - and beams his co-star to p rehistoric times.

The man who was arrested for allegedly trying to break into PARIS HILTON’ s Los Angeles home while carrying two large knives has been charged with one count of felony burglary.
Hilton took to Twitter.com to reveal her terror after she was woken up on Tuesday morning (24Aug10) by a strange noise and discovered Nathan Lee Parada trying to gain entry to her house.
Cops arrested the intruder in the socialite’s garden.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney has now charged the 31 year ol d with one felony count of attempted residential burglary with a person p resent, reports TMZ.com.
Parada remains in custody and is being held on $50,000 (GBP33,300) bail ..
He faces up to six years in state prison if convicted.

Actor JOHNATHON SCHAECH’s new bride has filed for divorce.

BOB GELDOF is convinced he invented the concept of reality TV - because h is media company pioneered hit show SURVIVOR.
The former Boomtown Rats rocker formed television company Planet 24 in 1992, and the firm produced The Big Breakfast - an early morning magazine show based in a real house - and developed the original concept for Surv ivor.
And he’s convinced the shows became the blueprint for Big Brother, the programme widely credited with creating the reality TV genre.
Asked by Q magazine if he "invented" the format, Geldof replies, "Yeah, no question. Big Brother was essentially The Big Breakfast meets Survivo r. It was a show that put people under onerous conditions inside a wired house. And the guy who was supposed to sell our formats at the time left to join Endemol.
