SNOOP CELEBRATES JACKSON’S BIRTHDAY IN NEW YORK
SNOOP DOGG made a surprise appearance at the second annual Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson event in New York on Sunday (29Aug10) to mark the late K ing of Pop’s 52nd birthday.
The rapper joined in the festivities at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, an ev ent organised by movie director Spike Lee, and treated the crowd to a spe cial performance of his hits, remixed with a variety of famous Jackson tu nes.
The event also featured a set from rapper Warren G, while civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton led a minute’s silence for the late superstar , as well as the victims of Hurricane Katrina, which struck New Orleans, Louisiana five years ago.
