RICHIE VETS HER DAD’S GIRLFRIENDS
NICOLE RICHIE has made her famous father LIONEL promise not to date young er women - and she insists on "vetting" potential partners before they be come regular fixtures.
The veteran singer is single at the age of 61 following two broken marr iages - he divorced Nicole’s adoptive mother Brenda Harvey in 1993 and hi s second union with Diane Alexander ended in 2004.
The Hello hitmaker admits he occasionally dates women, but he’s not all owed to romance anyone the same age as his 28-year-old daughter.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "I find it so hard to distinguish women’s a ges now. You see a girl walking down the street and Nicole will say, ‘Dad ! That girl’s 18 years old!’ and I think, ‘No way.’ "My children have to vet (my girlfriends) now. Nicole said to me a long while ago, ‘Dad I won’t date anyone your age if you don’t date anyone my age.
