MELANIE BROWN is remaining tight-lipped amid claims her marriage to STEPH EN BELAFONTE is over.
Editors at Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper ran a report on Sunday (29 Aug10) attributing quotes of a split to Belafonte, who wed the former Spi ce Girl in 2007.
The movie producer is alleged to have said, "Dude, it’s over. Mel’s com ing back to the U.K. soon - but I won’t be coming with her. There’s been problems lately. I don’t know what’s happening." The publication goes on to report that Belafonte is consulting lawyers about a divorce.
But Brown has so far refused to comment on the claims officially - and had remained silent on her Twitter.com page about the allegations as WENN went to press, instead posting snaps of herself on the way to rehearsals on Sunday morning.
