FALCONER RUES DRUG PAST

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:21 pm

Scottish rocker KYLE FALCONER bitterly regrets his 2007 conviction for dr ug possession - because he let fans down when a huge tour of the U.S. had to be scrapped.
The View frontman was fined $1,500 (=C2=A31,000) for possessing cocaine three years ago, and the conviction meant he was denied a temporary visa to perform Stateside.
The Same Jeans hitmakers had to scrap a planned trek around America las t year (10) because of Falconer’s chequered past - and the ban has heaped shame on the rocker.
He tells Scotland’s Daily Record, "I have kept a clean slate since I wa s convicted three years ago… I didn’t realise the consequences. I total ly regret it. It was horrible and it caused a massive American tour to ge t cancelled and we haven’t been able to play to the fans there. I am desp erate to get over there. It’s one of my main priorities."
